  • Had a great time!

"The booking of this property was very easy & Christian got back to us with any questions we had in a quick time frame. The check in was easy, the people there were very helpful! The condo was quite large! We had a lovely view of the lake with the deck off the living room where we at breakfast in the morning. The kitchen was nicely stocked with any supplies we could need (even though we didn't do much cooking). The rooms were very clean. We were even able to reserve a pack & play for the baby. This would be a great place for 2 couples to stay together, since there was so much space. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The only downside was that we could hear the music the cleaners had on downstairs. But since we weren't there during the day, that wasn't a big deal. The resort has mini golf, and very nice out door pools (including a kiddy pool & a pool for adults only). The service at the pool bar wasn't great. They have lots of activities to do in the recreation center for guests for either free, or a minimal price. We would absolutely stay here again, & I would recommend Christian to anyone!"

  • Nice Property Oct. 17-20, 2016

"Plantation with the ponds and fountains is beautiful. Coffee house deck or pond gazebo is a nice place to hang out. 85 degrees but the outdoor pools were closed for the season. Condo is typical condo, sparse decor, not a private home away property. Did not have a whirl pool tub or hot tub as expected. Only the deluxe two bedroom units have that. Quiet during off-season mid-week, but also time for maintenance- lawnmowing, building washing, etc. Convenient access to Williamsburg- about 15 min. to the historic section. We had bikes which was a HUGE convenience at the Colonial village and at the plantation. If you do want to listen to their sales pitch (which we didn't) don't accept their first offer. They'll add more incentives. They offered us $150 visa card and a 2 night, 3 day free stay. Aroma Restaurant in Merchant Square had a delicious Bayou Bash pasta stir fry for $14.99. The 5:00 fifes and drums is a must see. If you are an educator, be sure to ask about educator discounts on Colonial Williamsburg tickets. Enjoy!!!"

  • Pleasant stay at Powhatan Resort

"Myself, two young children (toddler and crawling infant) and father thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay at the Powhatan Resort. Plenty to do around the resort, although the pool at night did get crowded. The check-in was speedy and the staff was friendly. My only two criticisms were minor: 1) our unit's bath tub would not hold enough water for my little ones to bathe and 2) the pictures of the unit on-line looked like we would have a deck, but the deck was accessible to the unit above us and not us. Hope to bring the family back for a longer stay at the Powhatan Resort!"
