  • Great location to wineries!

"It was my husband's birthday weekend so we decided to "get away" for a few days. Upon entering the Hollywood Hill Guest House, we felt immediately at home and relaxed in this beautifully furnished two bedroom home. The owners even had a bottle of wine with a nice, welcoming note waiting for us. The house would also be perfect for two adult couples since it has similar sized bedrooms sharing a large, well appointed bathroom including another half bath off the living room. The home isn't large but the feeling is spacious and the appliances are all top of the line. The pros: Very clear directions for gaining access to home and better than expected proximity to Woodinville's downtown Hollywood district. The neighborhood is quiet, upscale, and peaceful. I enjoyed cooking in the modern kitchen while being able to converse with husband in the living room while he watched sports from the large flat screen. Only a few cons: The beds were a little more firm than we are used to and if you plan to cook/grill at all, you may need to bring or purchase condiment & spice basics such as oil, ketchup, oregano. This won't prevent us from coming back in spring and/or summer for another visit. We had a truly enjoyable time in Woodinville and this guest-house-bungalow made the experience even better than we expected."

  • Perfect place for making family memories!

"This was our first visit to Milky Way Farm Guest House and we found it to be the perfect place for making wonderful family memories! Our extended family of 11 (6 adults and 5 children, 5 years and under) spent 6 delightful days here enjoying farm life and exploring the gorgeous Kitsap Peninsula. The owners were very kind and helpful. The old farmhouse itself is a treasure...even more lovely than the photos on the website show, and with picture perfect views out every window. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and well stocked with everything we needed. Each day for us started and ended on the large back porch, sitting in the swing or rockers, with coffee in hand, while we visited and watched kids and grandkids play out under the orchard trees and the cows graze in the pasture just beyond. The owners treated us to farm fresh eggs, and invited us to pick pears and plums from the fruit trees. Out front there was an old glider swing to play on and a little pond and stream to explore. Needless to say, our kids never wanted to leave the farm! Truly, Milky Way Farm is a child's heaven and an adult's oasis! Away from the farm, we enjoyed a family wedding at beautiful Kitsap Memorial State Park. We also visited Point No Point Lighthouse, where we explored the beach and watched a whale playing just off shore. On another outing, we took a ferry boat ride to Edmonds, ate fish and chips at Spud Fish & Chips, and then stopped and had ice cream at Mora's Iced Creamery in Kingston. This vacation will go in the books as one of our all time family favorites and Milky Way Farm will be a huge reason why! Can't wait to return!"

  • Great Family Vacation Spot!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family had a great time staying here. There were tons of restaurants and a grocery store within a few blocks. It helped us save money by stocking groceries in the house for the week. The home is very close to a few major bus routes so we were able to go downtown and to the zoo very easily. The house was described accurately and clean when we arrived. I would recommend staying here!"

  • Great natural setting in a location to see the greater Seattle area.

"The grounds were beautiful and the garage apartment is as pictured and described in vrbo. Easy access to ferry to Bainbridge Island from Edmonds, easy drive to visit northern Seattle area and Seattle downtown area. The unit could use a new coffee maker and toaster. The coffee maker was old, well used and not clean. There was a tea kettle though so had hot tea. Would recommend highly this luxury apartment in a great location."
