  • Can't rave enough about this house!

"We chose this house for its location right on the beach. The house was just as described, if not actually better. The kitchen and living area were so cute and cozy. I was nervous because not every room was pictured, but I should not have been because all three of the rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The extra loft area/bed is a great place for kids, just lacks the privacy as it is off the hall, so I don't recommend it for adults. It is somewhat difficult to get to the beach with the large drift wood in the way. But, no one in my family had trouble climbing over. Eric, the property manager/owner, was fantastic. He was always responsive to questions, quick to refund our deposit, and even gave us tips on restaurants, grocery stores and activities. This is truly a special place. It is perfect for families or for those wanting a romantic getaway. I found the location convenient, only about a 10 minute drive to grocery, shopping, and dining. But, you will need a car with this location. Eric recommended a kayak company that brought kayaks and stand up paddle boards right to our door. I recommend taking advantage of that."

  • Lovely view of the water

"We arrived in the afternoon after taking the ferry over. Wonderful little trip and drive to cabin. The cabin is in a more secluded are of the island and away from the planes, you rarely hear them in the distance. The home is right on the shoreline and walking the beach was a daily activity. The daybed by the front window, sitting with a cup of tea and watching the ocean and it's community...better than any tv channel ."

  • A family reunion for 15

"A farm house it once was, but it proved to be a three story, six bedroom, nicely modernized and maintained home on a large, grassy lot, fully equipped for a reunion of our now spread out family of three generations. Across a very quiet Maxwelton Road from the beach, with glorious sunsets and a fire pit we gathered and lingered around in to the night. A wide variety of activities are a short walk away: baseball, basketball, volleyball, a playground and, of course, walks along the beach. "Town" (Langley) is a 15 minute drive away. We had little worry about the youngest among us, six ranging from one and a half to 12 years: the area is sparsely populated (less so on the weekends), the road is not well traveled and the very low speed limits are well respected. The home has two laundry rooms and 2 kitchens (as well as a Weber and a gas grill, with all they require at hand). It all made for very comfortable living and was perfect for us. We all hope for a repeat, soon."

  • Beautiful Location

"We spent a very wet, windy Thanksgiving in this lovely home. The poor weather did not detract from the beautiful views; from every room! The house was very clean, open and well stocked. The wood stove kept us warm and cozy. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with, which is always a plus. We highly recommend this property."
