  • Home away from home feel!

"Burdie's Nest was more than we could ever ask for. As the multiple reviews have already stated, the very best part of the house is the location!, location!, location! What a great spot with a 5 minute walk to the lake, to Otto's restaurant at the Osthoff where we dined multiple times and then a 5 minute walk the other way to town with all the other restaurants, However, in addition to the location, the house itself was very clean, and very roomy. The bedrooms were all great as well as the kitchen, the living room and the front screened in patio where we spent most early mornings. We also spent most nights outside around the fire pit which was truly enjoyable. There is no question that we would go back and stay here again!"

  • Turn Three Lodge was great for us.

"TurnThree was definetly a home away from home experience. The accommodations worked well for an eclectic group of racers. Home was clean and void of all the clutter. Yet everything we needed was there, track super convenient, restaurants close and best was it was headache free. Thanks for a great stay and your organization."

  • Charming House

"Our annual Cristmas get-away was again successful at this very charming home. The surprise of a decorated Christmas tree made it perfect. The whole rental process with detailed instructions for our stay was simple. As we spend the whole time playing games and just being together, we did not take advantage of the location in Elkhart Lake, but seriously would consider returning in the summer. Our big Christmas dinner was fantastic thanks to the well-equipped kitchen and huge dining room table to accommodate us. All-in-all we were very comfortable in this extremely clean, beautifully furnished older charming home. The only drawback I can think of is just 2 bathrooms for the 14 of us (6 of them teenagers). But there was certainly enough towels for everyone! I would highly recommend this home-away-from-home!"

  • Both Comfortable and a Visual Delight

"My friends and family gathered at the Hika Bay Hideaway from two states for a reunion. Without exception everyone was awed by the superb restoration and decorating detail in this 150 year home. And when we were done looking at all the art on the walls and interesting books and artifacts, we turned our gaze to Lake Michigan. Like others have written before me, this home is furnished with all the comforts of home. There was nothing better than sitting back on the enclosed front porch and rocking my "chairs" away."
