  • Wonderful cabin in great location

"I booked the cabin for a weekend getaway with some friends from Chicago and it was a perfect place to relax and enjoy this part of Wisconsin. On the first night we went for a hike in the forest just across the street and on the second day went canoeing on the Wisconsin river, which was just a 45 minute drive from here. The cabin is gorgeous, in addition to being both well kept and equipped."

  • Sooo much better than a hotel!

"We just stayed here for our annual sisters weekend, a gathering of 6 women from around WI and MN. The house was PERFECT for hanging out and enjoying ourselves in a homey environment. The 4 different bedrooms were great for more personal space (one of us had a bad cold, so she could easily rest on her own schedule). And all of the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes, but not that we cooked that much on our get away. For us, it was nice to have our own coffee pot on site and a full sized refrigerator! Bathrooms are very nice, but only one had a shower. They really labeled things well so you didn't feel too 'lost' staying in an unknown house. Decor is like my house - a little random but intriguing and something for everyone. It has a LOT of books to browse! If we come back to the La Crosse area again, we would definitely stay here again too."

  • Great stay, especially for the price. I travel often to Pepin and this will be my go to place!

"Clean, roomy, great wood burning fireplace, affordable, and on the same street as all the cool businesses in Pepin. And literally you can see the fabulous winery through the woods. My wife and I a wine tasting for $5. I recommend the local coffee shop, any of the local restaurants and also the creamery about 10 miles away for a good lunch and ice creme. Highly recommend. I am a long time VRBO renter and this place is a go to!"
