  • Great quiet get away. Away from the everyday grind and hustle, bustle!

"The Amish cabin provided us with a quiet, AWESOME stay in the woods. The owners were very helpful and prompt with all communications. The cabin was clean, comfortable and we had all the kitchen wares to cook for ourselves. We (our dog included) loved sitting on the porch swing! There is a lot to do in the area especially for the outdoorsy types. We bought groceries at Gordy's mkt. in BRF-great local store with great prices and super customer service. Went into BRF for hand scooped local ice cream at Mocha Mouse. We had a great meal at Castle Hill Supper club. We will definitely be back for another visit."

  • Another Great Stay!

"Back for our second year in a row on our annual trek from New Mexico to Wisconsin. Enjoyed our stay and the great weather....highs around 90! Plenty of train activity on the BNSF and had an opportunity to take a Mississippi River cruise! Hit the local bar for a few drinks, something to eat and watched part of the Packer game. The patrons there are always so welcoming. Did some cooking....my wife really enjoys the wonderful kitchen. Aimee is great to work with and keeps the house immaculate. Will be back in 2016!"

  • Cute and convenient

"We spent three nights and had a wonderful time. The house is walkable to the waterfront, shops, and restaurants, and best of all for our daughters - down the block from the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum! Plenty of beds, comfy and quiet house. Great kitchen had everything we needed! Thank you Jim!"

  • Truly a "Scenic Getaway"!

"What a beautiful piece of paradise! My family and I came here seeking rest/relaxation, new experiences and some treasured family time. We had it all here! The scenic valley that surrounds the comfortable, spacious and completely furnished house is absolutely gorgeous! We spent our days biking the trails, kayaked and hiked the Wildcat Mountain State Park trails, and spent our evenings playing games around the huge kitchen table and sitting around the firepit enjoying the beautiful evening skies. If you are looking for a place to enjoy time together with family and/or friends, this is the place for you!"
