"Everything about this house was perfect for our weeklong family vacation to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone parks except for the location!!! The advertised photo looks as though the house sits in a private meadow rather than right along the busy road that leads into Alpine, Wyoming! Then, it took 45 minutes to drive into Jackson plus another 1-2 hours before even entering the parks ): Coupled with all of the driving we did inside of the parks, we were on the road 12-14 hours/day. (We never saw any bears but our grandchildren thought we acted like them a few times!!!)
That being said, the Golphs have filled the house with every seasoning, utensil, plates, glasses, silverware, etc. one could ever dream of wanting! (I even found a rolling pin and pie crust tools to use to make my son's fave peach-pie for his birthday:) Of all the VRBOs we have previously stayed in over the years, this house was, hands down, the best appointed one so far. All of the beds have comfy mattresses, plenty of towels are provided, there's a newer washer and dryer and a good gas barbecue on the back porch we put to good use.
Susan Golph provided excellent customer service and obviously, treats "guests" like she appreciates being treated! Instructions and "rules" for use of the property were clearly stated. The refundable damage deposit was credited back to my cc in record speed, too!"
