  Did soo much hiking! This was a perfect spot to RELAX and go go go... We loved the views and the decor is very cool ..hawaiian :) The huge Cal King bed, it was so super comfortable! A pleasant surprise. This unit has everything. Very clean too. Julie was available for whatever we needed, the fresh coconuts were an unexpected treat! We would recommend this place. Kauai is so beautiful. hope to come back again.

  We stayed at No Ka Oi between Christmas and New Year's (2012). The views from the studio are amazing and even more breathtaking than the pictures posted here. The studio is located in Kapaa, which makes a great base for exploring the rest of the island - easy to get to the North Shore and to the South and West (for the Waimea Canyon). Also located about 10 minutes away from the Sleeping Giant mountain, which is an amazing hike with views of the whole island from its peak. Restaurants are a 5 minute drive away - lots of great breakfast spots in downtown Kapaa, and we particularly liked Java Kai and Chicken in a Barrel! Booking was very easy - Julie, the owner, was very prompt responding to email and I was able to pay using Paypal. Julie was able to accommodate a late check-out for us, which we really appreciated as it allowed us to squeeze in more beach time on our last day in Kauai. Unit is very clean, has air conditioning if you choose to use it, lots of towels, beach towels, and beach equipment (chairs, boards). We would definitely stay here again if we're lucky enough to come back to Kauai. Thank you, No Ka Oi!

  We had the best stay here :) The king size bed is fit for a king! As we stepped inside this place it is much bigger and better than the photos show. Location and ammenities are perfect. We loved the garden island!! Everyday an adventure, to come here at the end of each day was great!! The time went too fast. Fresh coconuts and WOW....

  Mahalo Julie, We were pleasantly surprised to find No Ka Oi so perfect for our stay on Kauai! What a terrific place! The views are so great and the place is immaculate, with amazing decor. We loved staying here and truly felt like we were in a hawaiian hidaway! The Cal-King bed was fit for a King and Queen! Thanks for the reasonable pricing for what we got. No extra charge for staying till 8pm on our ck-out day. Thanks again and we'll see you again!

  We had the best time ever, Kauai is so beautiful. Julie's place is immaculately maintained, very roomy and comfortable. It really is a great find! No extra fees tacked on for anything. The fresh cocos are a delight too. This is a super place to stay, we loved the incredible views and everything being so close. A great location. You cant beat it!

  We come here every other year and LOVE the feeling of this unit! Its well maintained, airy, well decorated and the perfect size. The views take us to another place! The big Cal- king bed is extra comfy. Location, location, location... The central location is awesome and Kapaa town is a fun place, for everything ! Lots of Privacy and well equipped, can't go wrong, Julie is a great hostess too. No Ka Oi is definitely one of the best!

  We didnt want to leave! Nicely appointed, very comfortable, large private guesthouse! The photos do not do this place justice. So close to eveything too. The perfect piece of Paradise! Julies place is great and the fresh coconut was an added treat!!! Totally awesome experience..Kauai in general, it was great to come and relax here after full days of adventure. We will be back!

  Julie, Had a fantastic extended stay at No ka Oi! Your place was very comfortable. Quite a bit larger than the photos show, nice deck, views were great, panoramic green hills, ocean was calming in the distance. It was hard to leave after 60 days, thanks for the deal on the long term rental. Ill be back next year. Fresh cocos were a huge plus and all the aloe growing around the unit sure helped my sunburnt skin! Love Kauai and the rainbows were plentiful. Thanks for everything!! Jeffrey

  WOW! Nice private studio. Its more like a one bedroom, great decoration with the best views! Close to the town, you do need a car, as you are up on a hill and the beach is just minutes away as the bird flies, walking it is a good 15 min. to beach.Nice quiet residendial neighborhood. Home away from home. location is ideal. We loved it, can't go wrong at Julie's place. Thanks/Mahalo and Aloha

  I was pleasantly surprised on arrival at "Peles garden", the place is well appointed, very spacious and the views are simply amazing! The king size bed was so comfy...ummm best sleeps after a long day of hiking and seeing the most beautiful island of Kauai. Privacy with all the ammenities. Excellent place, we love it. Julie was so helpful too. We'll be back.
