  Our group had three adults in our twenties. We have vacationed in gatlinburg/ pigeon forge many times over the years but staying at this condo at the Summit made the trip so much more enjoyable! Usually we stay right on the strip and we only spend a couple of nights. This condo is so reasonably priced that i think we all agreed we would never stay in a hotel again if we could stay up at the Summit. While the drive from the condo into town is about 10 minutes, the roads are not nearly as bad as we had prepared ourselves for. Also, we really liked looking at the different chalets and the beautiful views on the way down the mountain, it was fun! Specifically regarding this condo, we had more than enough space to spread out and be comfortable and found that in general we had everything we needed! The furniture was dated and one of the recliners was broken but we are easy to please and for the price we paid were VERY happy with our stay! I recomend staying here to anyone who has either been to gatlinburg before or has more than a couple of nights to spend because being on top of the mountain but minutes away from the action is well worth it!

We replaced the sofa with a new one. Replaced the broken recliner with a new glider rocker. Some new bedspreads. Some new paint, new drapes, renovated both bathrooms including new tall toilets and a couple other small items. We will be redoing the carpet in the near future as well. We also now have our own WIFI so we don't have to rely on the complex anymore. Anyway we just wanted you to know in case you felt like coming back.   I am more than happy to report that my stay at this condo was an epic one, indeed! These photos that are listed are fabulous, but do no justice to the fantastic view and roomy condo! Sitting extremely close to town, this condo had all the perks needed for my stay. Comfortable bedding, all kitchen needs, and plenty of gorgeous scenery were provided. I can not wait to book another stay, here. :)

  We had such a great time at the condo. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed the view and the solitude. It was nice to come "home" after a day at Cades Cove and be able to relax. The owners are very friendly and the condo is a nice home away from home.

  We have stayed here for more than a few years and always forgot to leave a review and for that we apologize. This is one great place summer or winter. We have been up there when it was 95 and when it was -10. We have never ever had a bad time. One time we had to stay in Jon;s place, move to another one due to availability and then back and still had a great time. The ski lodge is less than three miles, town not to far, and a picnic/cookout at Cades Cove is unreal. We will try and post some pictures later. Jon has always been soooo great to us. If you look at December, you will see us there again. Thanks to Jon and family. FROM: Eileen, John, Travis, Scooby and the rest of our family and freinds who have joined us there.

  We had a wonderfull time in this home away from home condo. We awakened to snow, and bliss above the clouds. My family of 6 were comfortable and had so much fun. Jon and Jennifer have the condo filled with all the things your need to eat , sleep and enjoy the moutains of Gatlinburg. It is so convienent to Ober Gatlinburg, and was great to stand on the deck and enjoy the sites and sounds of nature.

  Jon and Jennifer, thank you for a great place to relax and enjoy our time in Gatlinburg. We had a great time and your condo was just great. We really loved the Sky Light in the bedroom and our grandson loved the stairs. We went to sleep counting stars.The condo was quite and very peaceful. Hated that we couldn't stay longer but would love to stay again soon. Thank you Jon for being so nice and helpful by taking care of everything over the phone. Great place! Gail

  The Summit surely did have a beautiful view. The drive up in the dark was a bit of an adventure but fortunately our cell phone directions got us there. The loft room was perfect for my daughter and my two boys appreciated the twin beds. While the value, cleanliness, and room set up were just what we needed, the condo was a bit older than I expected and the kitchen is very small with a half-sized dishwasher and small, older stove. I decided against trying to cook a full meal for our family in it. The biggest challenge we had was a lack of coffee filters--not sure if they are usually there or not as there was a coffee pot and we brought coffee but had no way of using it. So while the condo fit our needs and budget and I greatly appreciated Jon and Jennifer sharing their vacation spot with us it wasn't quite as luxurious as I had anticipated from the photos and reviews.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

As for the coffee filters, they are not listed in the items we supply in the terms and conditions email you recieved, so I'm sorry if there was any confusion. The kitchen has everything you need to make a full dinner. I'm sorry you chose not to do so. My family has had some wonderful meals come out of that kitchen when we stay. The pictures of the condo are exactly what is in the unit so again I apologize if there was any confucion.   I love staying at Gatlinburg Summit! This is my third time --- a different condo each time --- and staying at this unit was a wonderful experience! The first part of the week was a special get away for my husband and I and then our older kids joined us for the rest of the week! The place was big enough to accomodate the family and cozy enough to enjoy the fireside chats, coffee, and beautiful scenery! I'm looking forward to doing this again next year! Thanks for the great place and the great price! Excellent time for all! The older kids even enjoyed all of the stairs!!!

  We just got back from a 5 night stay and wow what a fantastic view! The condo was a great fit for my family of 5. Make sure to follow e directions giving or you will get lost. We made a wrong turn and in think went all around the mountain before we found our way to the condo. My husband was freaked out the 1st drive or two up but by the end of the week he was a pro. We did have one snag in our stay, when we arrived to the condo it had not been cleaned from the previous renters. But one phone call to Jon and it was taken care off. We did have to leave for about 2 hours for it to get cleaned but we headed back down the mountain to get some groceries. It wasn't a big hassle but if we hadn't have already been in Gatlingburg for 2 days it would have been. The kids were anxious to get out and explore and it would have been bad had we made a 9 hour trip to only get back in the car after 10 minutes. We would for sure stay here again though.

  My family and I were looking for an affordable place to spend our Gatlinburg vacation. We couldn't have asked for a location with better views. The views of the mountains and the city lights in the distance are absolutely breathtaking. I hated to leave! The pictures don't do this place justice. It's perfect. The only thing we had a problem with were the stairs but everyone can use some exercise. The pool areas were great. The condo had excellent showers as well. Everything was very clean. Overall, I would highly recommend this condo. The owner was extremely friendly! Hopefully, we'll do business again in the future. Rent this condo! :D
