Gorgeous and tranquil top of the line 2BD/1BA designer renovated Victorian flat in Castro. A unique property that offers a truly unforgettable experience. Perfectly situated between Dolores Park and Castro street. Convenient location in a very quiet coveted block. 5 min walking distance to J, K, L, M and F lines. Home features 11 foot ceilings, hardwood floors, two wood burning fireplaces, designer lighting, lots of charm and offers all the modern conveniences.

Several French doors flood the dining room and living room (features a wood burning fireplace) with southern exposure light and opens to a wonderful private two level deck/patio and lush landscaped garden (with patio furniture and gas grill). Home has amazing natural light throughout. Dining room seats six.

Large Master Bedroom has a comfortable king size heavenly bed and wood burning fireplace. A second bedroom is cheerful and quaint featuring a daybed with trundle (top of the line mattresses) that can be opened up and the two twin beds converted to be king size if desired. The room features lovely views with french doors opening up to a small patio. Both bedrooms have designer drapes with total blackout lining.

The kitchen has been remodeled and features a Wolf Burner/Stove, stainless steel appliances, Bosche dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and Statuary marble counter. Kitchen is fully stocked (dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking/baking ware etc).

Bathroom features a floor to ceiling limestone shower with skylight.

Bose Hi-Fi Stereo Link system and Wi-Fi in home.

  • Chateau Castro is "designer beautiful". It actually looks like the pictures, which was a pleasant surprise. It is a great location, on a quiet street, but close to public transportation. It is a good value and we enjoyed our stay, particularly the fireplaces in both the master bedroom and living room.

  • The apartment is wonderful. The location in Castro is a big plus, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. It is definitely very accessible with the F tram and two metro stops nearby. Buses aplenty as well and we had no problems getting round by public transport from Castro. The place is well decorated, well equipped and really comfortable. There were 3 of us staying the apartment and there was definitely enough space for each of us without getting into each other's way. Back garden is absolutely beautiful and great for BBQs as well. It is literally a home away from home, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Some quick tips about Castro - get your coffee from Castro Cheesery, just a few doors away from Castro Theatre and also, don't forget to stop by Bi-rite Creamery for some really awesome ice cream.

  • This place is beautiful! The decor is ridiculously gorgeous! The location was fabulous, parking was easy. We could go to great restaurants in Castro, Mission, and more. The back deck is really private and there really are a million roses. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others.

  • An utterly stunning and delightful apartment. And so beautifully clean and well maintained. From the wind chimes in the garden, to the spacious shower to the very hip decor, this proved a great experience all round. It's very rare that a property looks better in real life than on the photos, but that is the case with this one. You won't be disappointed.

  • To All Who are looking for the perfect SF spot! We had a wonderful Christmas week at this stunning flat. We live in an East Bay suburb but decided to forgo the Tahoe Christmas this year in lieu of a city holiday. We took two twenty year old children in tow and this was the perfect spot. The decor is beautiful, all of the toys (DVD, CD, Ipod hook-ups etc.) cooking gadgetry, and beautiful serving pieces were there for us. There was plenty of space for all four of us and as an added plus -- the master bed is pure heaven. This was our first foray into this type of a rental and we will certainly be doing it again. Ron, the owner is great and Mach, the property manager, on top of it and easily accessible. I can't imagine anything better!

  • This beautiful immaculate flat made my stay in San Francisco a very special one. The location is amazing and the quality and taste of the decor inside is suberb. Ron was completely helpful and professional in my dealings with him as was Marc the property manager. I highly recomend this vacation property to anyone who wants a well situauted clean and wonderful place to stay in the Castro. You will be hard pressed to find anything nicer!

  • If you are looking for a stylish and centrally located place to temporarily call home then this is it! We live in the East Bay but instead of Tahoe this year we took our two twenty-somethings for Christmas in the city. The apartmant could not have been nicer or better appointed. Made huge family dinners, entertained our usually georaphically undesirable Marin and city friends as I would have in my own home. We were happily surprised at all of the comforts and beautiful condition of this home. (We have never met the owners and have zero realation to them...just loved it here!)
