A Great Spot to Stay

This is one of our very best VRBO stays. The studio designed nicely, is well equipped and works just right for two people. The outside patio is an excellent feature as well. We were very comfortable here and would love to stay again when we return.

A wonderful retreat

What a wonderful retreat to return to after a busy day sightseeing in San Francisco. The apartment is well equipped and has everything you need for your stay. The courtyard garden provides a nice space to relax, eat breakfast or enjoy an evening glass of wine. We really enjoyed our stay at Olive's Gate.

Wonderful stay in Noe Valley

Great apartment Very clean and has everything you need for your stay. Gorgeous bed linen and soft fluffy towels. We stayed for 5 nights and found the area lovely and quiet overnight. We explored SF from here very easily using public transport. The stop for the MUNI is literally 2 minutes away. Lovely walk to The Castro and Noe Valley is gorgeous too. Chez was extremely kind and helpful. I highly recommend this apartment and we hope to be back

Overall, this was 4 & 1/2 stars. The entrance gate was unusable due to the wooden gate/door being swollen from the recent rain. We were provided with a garage door opener that allowed us to access the apartment. It was just perfect for our needs.

Staying at this Olive's Gate property was an excellent experience. The information was accurate and Chez was very responsive. The neighborhood is safe and not far from the central parts of Noe Valley and the Mission. Checking in and out were simple. Quiet at night. Comfortable. Great water pressure! Any issues? My wife prefers a softer bed. Great place/stay/experience overall.

Perfect SF getaway

Great location near shopping on 24th street! Also, incredible water pressure, best shower of my life. Chez was accommodating and helped getting us a parking pass prior to our arrival, made parking the car stress free.

Great stay at Olivia’s Gate

Perfect little studio apartment in Noe Valley. Everything was as described. Great neighborhood and location for getting around the city. J Church Muni stop only a block away and BART to the airport is only a 15 minute walk. No need for a car! Will definitely stay again.

Charming studio apt.

Chez was a wonderful host. The unit was well equipped. The shower was fantastic! We do recommend that the heavy wooden door to the street be shaved down at the top. The door was so heavy that I could not pull it open as it was stuck to the frame. My husband could.

perfect stay in san francisco

Olive's Gate was a wonderful place to stay for our first visit to San Francisco. The apartment was comfortable with all the right amenities, a fantastic shower, and was surprisingly quiet. There is a private outdoor area to relax in and a great neighborhood to walk to. It is the perfect spot to come back to every evening after full days of exploring the city.

Lovely flat in a great neighbourhood

I reallly enjoyed my stay at Olive’s Gate! Great studio with a kitchen and a lovely yard. Chez is very welcoming and flexible on any requests. The flat is very well located, with the train J around the corner and Dolores park at 5-10 minutes walking. I highly recommend it!

I have lived in Noe Valley for decades and have watched it blossom into a vibrant, friendly neighborhood. I love it in Noe for the warmer climate and the ability to walk to many things from here. The neighborhood gives me a sense of community which is important to me.

Why they chose this property

When I bought this property it was run down and in a good location. There are vistas, city sized gardens and the ability to spend time outside. These seem like luxuries in a city but are prized by me.

What makes this property unique

Noe Valley is a wonderful neighborhood. It is safe for walking and located with easy access to the surrounding area. Walkscore gives this neighborhood an 86 score that says, very walkable.
