The Kapoho Bay View beach house has 5 bedrooms & 4 baths. The home is within 350 feet of the warm Champagne Pond and the ocean-fed and filtered Kapoho Tide pools near Pahoa Hawaii. Well furnished and beautifully maintained, this private vacation and gated community rental is offered for rent by owner.
Kapoho Bay View Home is a beautiful 3 story house with many rooms and lots of space for you and your family to relax and enjoy the spectacular views. We have a 3rd story level is a Master Suite with a Jacuzzi Bath Tub & a 180 degree Ocean Views from the 3rd Level Master Suite & Balcony!
All the levels have 26" Flat Screen TVs with DVD players, Wi-Fi Internet, 3 Postrupedic Mattress Beds (on the 3rd/2nd levels) & Wraparound Large Deck with a Gas BBQ on the 2nd level.
Surrounded in tropical plants, flowers, shrubs, palm trees and lawn; the yard and gardens of the Big Island. The multi-level patios overlook the warm ponds of Kapoho Bay and the Pacific Ocean.
Natural Geothermal heated Champagne Pond water temperatures range between 80-87 degrees Fahrenheit. Visitors come from around the world to enjoy the great snorkeling and swimming. Sharing the waters with an abundance of tropical fish and sea turtles.

IN THE AREA:
For a day trip, head to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Take a peak at an explosion captured on film in the Kilauea Visitor's Center. Head down the Chain of Craters Road and look for flowing lava and explore the Thurston Lava Tube, the fern forests, and the other natural phenomena of the area, about One Hour Drive.
Lava Tree State Park: Restaurants and Super Market in Pahoa Town 10 min Drive from the Home.

If you cancel more than 60 days ahead, we will refund your deposit less 20% handling fee. Cancellation of guests prior to 60 days of arrival subject to 4% credit card charge.
If you cancel within 60 days of arrival, we will refund your balance only if the unit can be re-booked less 20% handling fee. No cancellation of guests within 60 days of arrival.
We encourage you to purchase trip insurance as unforeseen events beyond your or our control can affect travel plans prior to or after your arrival(i.e.: American Express, AIG, etc.).

The Unique Benefits at this House
The unique things about our home is that we just built this new home from the ground up and got to design the floor plans & all decorations. We enjoy relaxing in this home because of the beautiful 180 degrees of views on the 3rd floor Master Bedroom & Balcony. The rest of the family gets to enjoy the many spacious lower level rooms. We all enjoy going into Pahoa Town & have a nice dinner or lunch either at LuQuin's Mexican Bar & Restaurant, Ning's Thai, or a more formal dining we would go to Kaleo's Restaurant. During the day, we try to make it to the Natural Steam-Vents from the Volcano often and my daughters usually makes it down to Pohiki (Issac Park) & go surfing for half a day. For a fun Sunset activity, we would go down to the Lava Fields at the end of Kapoho-Kalapana Highway & walk to the newly formed beaches, & on the way back in the dark look at the Kilauea Volcano & try to see the lava flowing down the mountain but remember to bring a flashlight, it’s extremely dark!

This Home is wonderful piece of paradise and owned with another Fun & Lovely couple that comes back to Hawaii from Texas for the half the year. Together we went into building this new home from the ground up & made this home extremely enjoyable for our future Guests! My wife & I are originally from California and I am a retired Veterinarian & Real Estate Investor. My wife is a wonderful Horse Woman & Trainer, which she continues to follow what she loves at our 15-minute away Kapoho Ranch. My wife & I are half owners of this wonderful vacation home. We fell in love with Kapoho & we moved out here start our retirement. We use to have a Sea Turtle in the pond of our current home in Kapoho and it is because of her that we have embraced Hawaii so much more. We've developed a small business with few vacation homes down in Kapoho and we enjoy providing the opportunity for others to experience Kapoho like we have. Our daughters have grown up & went to college out here in UHH & UHM. They love the beautiful ocean. We all enjoy the fun nature activities all around us: Surfing, Snorkeling, Kayaking, Diving, Spear-Fishing, Fishing & exploring the Tropical surroundings in the community. This was a lovely place to stay. It took a while to drive to Hilo and beyond, and even longer to get to the calm white sand beaches that some of our party enjoy; but there were some amazing lava formations with waves crashing against them within walking distance (over the lava field by the house). The snorkeling was great (we saw at least a few turtles within the gated community)! And the house itself had tremendous views, was clean and well equipped, and was a great place to stay. We also enjoyed the coqui frogs (they sound like birds chirping all night).

We had a great time here. The house is fully furnished with all utensils, snorkeling gear, etc. As other comments its about a 3hr drive to Kona where everything is. We did the swim with sunlight on the water. Also did the swim w/Manta Rays with them that was my favorite not for small kids or people with health conditions. The pond has very little fish for snorkeling but lots of Turtles. we saw 3. The Green sand Beach was not accessible by car 4 wheel drive only but we went to Black sand beach that also has several Turtles. Down the way is South Point that was great but don't go down on the Rocks! I did to take pictures and got knocked down and banged up the tide is very very strong. Tips snorkel gear, sunscreen, water shoes, and underwater camera is all required. Have a fun vacation.

This is a great place to be, away from muggy Tokyo. My kids absolutely loved the pond. It is their first time as well as my father, who is 80years old, to snorkel and see fish swimming around their legs. I saw a Turtle! The only set back is it's too far away from Kona but I recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a quiet 1 week with fish, breeze, & the sun.

We felt right at home as soon as we walked in to this beautiful house. The quiet relaxing atmosphere is just what we were looking for. :) Champagne Pond is a definite "must do." Be sure to hit the wonderful farmer's markets for some amazing fruits & veggies. The lava field "next door" has an old lighthouse with a remarkable story & if you rented a 4x4, there are some great roads all through the field. This island is absolutely beautiful & amazing, so go exploring. Relax, unwind, & soak it all in!!! Mahalo!

Lovely home, comfy beds. Beautiful locale; make sure to keep the kids quiet even during non-quiet hours. A bit removed from urban centers, but is great if you want to get away from it all. Loved Pahoa area!
