The WINTER is a wonderful time of year to stay in NO WAKE ZONE, one of the warmest and most welcoming oceanfront homes in Emerald Isle. You can own the entire beach as the summer swarms diminish and the ocean still continues its majesty. The sunsets are even more beautiful in the WINTER.
Envision being wrapped in a throw on the couch with the fireplace glowing. Throw in a book and a cup of your favorite tea. With such beautiful views, you’ll feel you are surrounded by the ocean. Or wrap up in a blanket with your hot chocolate and sit on the deck in the late afternoon as the dolphins move up and down the island. If you are lucky, they’ll put on a fantastic performance right in front of the house, in and out of the waves, up in the air and down again, sometimes seven or eight at a time. At night, the full moon casts its powerful silver beam to light up the ocean.
Snuggle down in those covers and sleep another hour as you watch the sun fully complement the sky from the Master Bedroom with it bay window and sliding glass door. Like to relax in a hot tub? There is nothing like soaking in a jacuzzi with hot soothing water, overlooking the ocean right in your Master bathroom with a special glass of wine.
Long walks on the beach are so inviting as the coolness of the weather gives more energy. Shell hunting is wonderful since the law of supply and demand is on your side.
Try some of the best East Coast seafood every night. By the way, for OYSTER LOVERS it is oyster season and there is nothing like an oyster bar with shucked raw or baked oysters right before your very eyes. Dip the tasty oysters in the homemade cocktail or warm liquid butter sauce. No long lines at the restaurants to battle at this time of year. Or read that favorite book, cook the dish you never had time for, visit Beaufort, a beautiful seaside town filled with history – the list goes on and on.
The beach is yours to walk in a tee shirt or winter coat whatever the weather allows. It belongs to you as the crowds have thinned out from the summer. Take home a collection of your hand selected shells from the beach, or make gifts with the variety of shells. Do some wonderful shopping in the unique whimsical gifts shops within walking distance from No Wake Zone.
WELCOME YOUR MARINE home from an overseas tour without having to stay in several sterile hotel rooms. Or give them a great supportive send off when they are leaving. Create wonderful memories for those times. (Ask me about my active duty military discount)
Take advantage of the COUPLES'S winter special during the months of JANUARY AND FEBRUARY!
AND ALL OF THIS AT THE LOWEST PRICES OF THE YEAR!!!! During the WINTER, monthly, weekly rentals as well as nightly rentals (3 night minimum) are available. I invite you to bring your favorite pet to enjoy your time at NO WAKE ZONE as well (See details). Call with any inquiries or special events you wish to discuss.
Make it a wonderful get-away,
Jackie Scialabba

Why the Owner Chose Emerald Isle
If you have ever been to Emerald Isle, NC, you will know exactly why anyone would want to have a home here either permanently or as a second home. The family atmosphere, beautiful ocean sunrises, sunsets, soft breezes and salt air take all the stress away.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
If waking up and going to sleep by the ocean waves are not enough for you, try the NC Aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores a few miles away. It is as exciting for adults as for children and is interactive with various programs for all ages. Or discover nearby Beaufort, NC - filled with historical sites and great events throughout the year. For the history buffs, try an afternoon at Fort Macon at the other end of the island. My favorite - a shell seeking trip to the small islands with wonderful shells to take home for special reminders of the beach. Kayaking, parasailing, canoeing - the list goes on.
Great fun for kids and adults alike. Check before you go to see if there are any special programs going on. 1 Roosevelt Blvd. Pine Knoll Shores, NC 28512

My wife and I stayed for 3 days in the No Wake Zone condo and found the site and accommodations to be excellent. Lots of room, perfectly furnished, and the area was very relaxing for our anniversary. I would highly recommend this rental for both small groups as well as families, and we will definitely stay again when we are in the area!

I needed somewhere to go and decompress from the "real" world and found the perfect place in No Wake Zone! The master bedroom is so peaceful, the main living area is open and the view of the beach is ideal. The house has its own walkway directly to the ocean, spacious decks with rocking and lounge chairs and the view is just what the doctor ordered. You will find everything you need - kitchen is loaded with all necessities, there are games, books and a beautiful fireplace that was just what I needed to take the chill off in the evenings after sitting out on the deck. The bedrooms are spacious as are the bathrooms...and you have full laundry in the basement too. I also really liked having a garage to pull the car into and keep it cool out of the sun. I went solo for some serious R&R, but the house is big enough to hold a family, group of friends or couples. The owner is wonderful to work with and made the entire rental process smooth and easy. I hope you can make it to this beautiful sanctuary and have as wonderful a time as I did!

What a great vacation spot! The home is extremely well furnished. The open format kitchen, great room is ideal with most everything you could hope for to cook quickly or elaborately. Having a spare fridge in the garage and your own laundry on the bottom level was perfect. There are 2 decks, off great room and below off master BR, and a hot water-equipped outside shower to get the sand off. The hose at the end of the deck is also great for getting sand off hands/feet before heading up to the house. Jackie has provided almost anything you would expect. Internet is fast, TV is current technology with HDMI input. Each of the three TV's has DVD and VCR combo unit. The vacation area is also admirable with great local shopping/dining less than a mile away. The local Food Lion grocery is open 24 hours in the summer and you can see the CVS pharmacy from the back of the house. Great off site activities too, putt-putt, waterpark, go-carts, bowling. Truly an exceptional place to have a vacation. Thanks Jackie for creating such a great opportunity to relax and enjoy!

Wow...beautiful home, very clean upon arrival, fully stocked kitchen, great location! Owner was great to work with...quick to respond and very friendly. Very close to everything...shopping, putt putt golf, movies, rentals but, most importantly, steps from the beach! I would highly recommend staying here and will plan a return visit soon!

If you're looking to spend time on the beach, this house is a perfect get-away! It is beautifully decorated, clean, and equipped with everything you need for a beach vacation. Many small touches made this place feel like home. It was about 1/2 mile away from a grocery store, hardware store, movie theater, restaurants, mini golf, and many small shops. A bike trail through town was a good way to get from the beach to any of these attractions. We came, though, for the beach, and we were not disappointed. Our two young grandsons played endlessly in the sand and water, and the adults rode the waves on their boogie boards. Everyone came away saying that this was the "best vacation ever." Jackie was so easy to work with. She promptly answered any and all questions we had about the property so we had no surprises when we arrived (except that the house was even better than we expected!).

My wife and I just finished out 11th annual visit to No Wake Zone East and this rental property continues to improve year after year (see my wife, C.R.R.'s review from last May). The property is freshly repainted inside and out. The bamboo flooring still looks as new as when we first saw it last year and the owner continues to upgrade the interior decor. Nearby favorite restaurants are still there and new ones are present every year that are well worth exploring. The city has finished adding about 4 miles of walking and biking trail along the main route and if you have bikes, I'd encourage everyone to bring them. Finally the best part is the beach. It's open, close at hand and whether you choose to enjoy the expansive view from the home's main deck or spend time on the beach (a short walk across the access off the 2nd floor) you will have a wonderful 24/7 beach experience. My advice - this is a very reasonably priced rental with first class amenities and unbeatable beach access.

Absolutely loved the house and location. House was beautifully decorated (loved the fish). The location was perfect, sitting right on the beach with easy access through a private walkway. House was exactly as described, with amenities too numerous to mention. Two marvelous decks offering panoramic views of the ocean and beach. We had thunderstorms late on Saturday night. It was absolutely beautiful to watch the lightning streak across the sky over the surging ocean waves. Gorgeous! Jackie was most helpful throughout the rental process answering numerous questions, while offering recommendations for dinner and other activities on the island. We look forward to a return visit in the very near future.

We stayed at No Wake Zone East early February 2011. It was chilly outside, but difficult to mind the weather, since the beach outside the rental is gorgeous. Additionally, when it rained during our stay, we lit the fireplace, and watched movies (in the unit) on the great flat screen. This rental was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Supplies were plentiful in the kitchen should you be inclined to cook. The master tub was large and easily fit two. Master bed was very comfortable. The owner was very easy to work with and responded very quickly to emails. We loved this rental and highly recommend it.
