  • We stayed at Cherokee Lodge over Labor Day and were delighted to find a warm, cozy, well appointed home. The deck, with a view of Grandfather Mountain is "the place" for us!This house has 3 floors, so it is very private with a bedroom and bath on each floor. Also, there is a den downstairs, which we loved for our grand children. The kitchen is great...don't bother to bring any spices! We'll be back, and thanks for sharing your home with us.

  • This is a great mountain retreat with that provides a wonderful setting in a woodsy atmosphere. Wonderfully decorated with a warm cozy feel. Great location-close to shopping, dining, walking and hiking. Great porches for star gazing at night. Go for it. You won't regret it!

  • Cherokee Lodge is a lovely, cozy and comfortable mountain cabin. It is beautifully and tastefully decorated, it has all the comforts of home, the kitchen is a wonderful place to explore your creativity, and the rear deck--oh my, you will never want to leave it, especially with the view of Grandfather Mountain. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful, restful, relaxing, renewing, cool, clean -- are just a few words to describe the home. Our dog loved the rear deck, which is gated, she would have stayed an extra week on her own! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home. We hope to return often!
