Why the Owner Chose Other Wailea Properties
Location, location, location plus private tennis court, lush landscaping, lots of room in the house and privacy. Steps from Keawakapu Beach, close to the action yet away from the crowds. It is paradise.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our home is steps from the best beach in Maui: Keawakapu Beach where you can walk for miles, swim, body surf, boogie board, snorkle, stroll to Sorrento's or the Five Palms for a drink or a great meal, watch the sunsets, bike to La Perouse Bay. We are a short walk(less than 1 mile south)from the Shops at Wailea, close to the fancy hotels and eateries but able to retreat to our private estate for privacy and serenity. Our kids grew up on this beach and safely played all night long on the grounds of the estate. We've made lasting friendships here.
Upscale shops (Tiffany, Coach, Vuitton), casual attire shops (Gap, Pac-Sun, Tommy Bahama), art shops, specialty shops, ABC and Whalers Village stores, restaurants (Longhi's, Tommy Bahama, Ruth's Chris
Five Palms Restaurant and Sushi Bar serving breakfast, lunch & dinner, surf/paddle board rental, General Store, Ocean Activities Center
Owner's Map of Other Wailea Properties
My husband and I, with our kids, have been coming here for 24 years, either renting this house when available, another home on the estate, or a condo at the Mana Kai. Our home is truly a home away from home and our kids have grown up on this beach. We are steps from the best beach in Maui: Keawakapu Beach (it actually takes less time to walk to the beach than it does to take the elevator down at the Mana Kai). The home at 1,800 sq.ft. offers plenty of privacy, spacious cooking & entertainment spaces, lanai seating, privacy and relaxation in a setting that is "Old Hawaii"--lush landscaping, tons of grass for kids to run safely and a private tennis court. It is paradise.

My family and I had a fabulous time here. The house is very comfortable and well appointed with appliances, both big and small. We spent time on the lanai enjoying the scenery of the grounds, and the many different birds flying around. Grocery, and souvenir, shopping is very convenient in the area and there are plenty of restaurants. The beach is extraordinary! We went snorkeling right off the beach, as well as at Makena Landing where we saw 6 sea turtles. The kids spent many hours boogie boarding in the surf. We would definitely stay here again in this very private piece of heaven! Mahalo, Tracey!

Two families with four small children (two 4 year olds & two 7 year olds) stayed at this property the last week of January and the first week of February in 2011. First I would have to say that the pictures do not do it justice! Our experience in this slice of heaven was amazing to say the least. The house was extremely comfortable for everyone - adults and children alike - and it was equipped with everything you could possibly need and then some! The grounds and the privacy they offered were incredible, the beauty and peacefulness it offered unparalleled. Many rounds of tennis were played, perhaps with more enthusiasm than skill, on the bonus tennis court. Most importantly for us, with small children, we felt safe to let them wander and explore the grounds on their own... The location of the house could not be better, it was private, yet a mere stone's throw from the beach. If we forgot anything at the house it was a quick walk back to retrieve it. The beach is a phenomenal, almost private beach, clean and not as busy as some of Kihei's beaches, which we ALL really enjoyed. You are truly in paradise in this part of Wailea yet extremely close to whatever you might want or need; restaurants, shopping, activities, etc. Everything is right there! Thank you so much Tracey for letting us enjoy in your little piece of paradise and we will be back soon. Regards, Carla

We all had a delightful time staying at your very attractive, clean and comfortable house on Maui. Our family's first visit to Hawaii was all that we expected. We also appreciated the extra tips you sent on some good places to eat, shop, and other activities that were close by. Loved being able to walk right across the street to Keawakapu beach. We spent every morning snorkeling there, which was, for most of our stay, reasonably clear. We did go out to Molokini for a morning. What a underwater paradise. Such a fun time swimming with those beautiful fish and turtles. Even saw a Spotted Eagle Ray the last day! Weather was perfect, which we Oregonians especially appreciated! Thank you for providing a great place to stay in paradise!

What a wonderful, relaxing home you have in the perfect location! Walking to the beach for swimming and snorkeling everyday and sunsets every night, running and biking, snorkeling, shopping, eating, napping - it was all amazing. The house truly feels like "old Hawai"i" but we enjoyed the cable tv (college football and baseball playoffs) as well as internet accessability. Mahalo!! We'll be back.

Wow, what a wonderful place, and you have a better than excellent location!! Really appreciated the 'laid-back' atmosphere of your house (nice decor and good neighbors). Spent considerable time snorkeling off various beaches, hanging in the sun and researching fish taco's in the greater Maui area. If I had a place like yours I would be a surfboard/paddle fanatic. Rented a paddlesurf board and really loved it. I paddled over the biggest sea turtle I have ever seen just opposite the entrance to you beach. Really like the lanai and the rest of the house. Mahalo.

Your Maui home was just perfect. We made use of the tennis courts, and swimming at the beach up to 3 times a day, and always an evening stroll to the beach for the spectacular Maui sunsets.

We are having such a wonderful time over here, you house if phenomenal, we see why you love it so much. We met your neighbor and he told us the history of Kula Estates, what a delightful gentleman. We have been having lots of exciting times, snorkeling, ferry to Lanai, lunch at Moma's Fish house!!!! Yummy We are going to back there for an early dinner the day we leave. My brother Gord has been windsurfing, and us girls are shopping, shopping, shopping, and did I mention shopping.

Oh my goodness...what a perfect match for our family! Yes, everything worked out nicely and we would love to rent with you again in the near future. Met your next door neighbors our first day and they were very kind. Our son even went over and talked to them about borrowing an air pump for the football at your home. I really can't thank you enough. All was wonderful, great location and we all had a great time.

Our stay was amazing! We had a wonderful time. I think our favorite part was the road to Hana. We deep sea fished...golfer makena and kapali..spa at grand wailea. We had a blast. The best part was our welcome the first sunrise by a double rainbow. Thank you so much for opening your house to us! Dustin and I were engaged on the beach at sunrise on our last morning....thank you!
