Why the Owner Chose Amelia City
Our family has been vacationing on Amelia Island for over 30 years. It remains one of our favorite places in the world. After owning a condo on Fernandina Beach for 20 years our parents decided to purchase this unit at Ocean Place in 1999 and we were blessed with eight years of glorious family gatherings here before they passed on to that big beautiful beach beyond. It is truly a special place for us and we look forward to sharing it with those who will appreciate it as well.

We wanted a mini-vacation to a new area for us to explore. We found the perfect setting for our needs at this wonderful condo overlooking the Atlantic from a lovely balcony complete with comfortable chairs and even a breakfast table and chairs to catch the morning sunrise or evening sunset. Every detail was carefully and thoughtfully provided for our enjoyment and comfort. It felt like home as soon as we turned the key and stepped into the lush surroundings. This place cannot be equaled in cleanliness, convenience and comfort. Wish we could have stayed longer. Can't wait to return!!

My husband, our four boys and I enjoyed a fantastic week in this pretty condo. Of all the condos in this development, only a few have the great pool view. This was one of them. We could literally sit on the balcony and visit with our sons as they swam. Of course, the beach was just a bridge away and right in view, too. We watched dolphin swim from our balcony! The rooms were pretty. The kitchen was well-equipped. It was a great vacation!

The Wallace 2nd floor 3 bedroom/3 bath condo was the perfect setting for our "girls getaway" weekend! We enjoyed our morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the beach & listening to the waves rolling in. The location was ideal for long walks on the beach and a short walk over to the Spa at the Ritz Carlton for some wonderful pampering. The condo is roomy with comfortable and stylish decor and well equipped in the kitchen. We enjoyed some meals "at home" as well as excellent restaurants in Fernandina Beach recommended by the owner. We're hoping for a return visit next winter!

3 of stayed for a girls getaway and had a marvelous time. The condo contained everything we needed and arrangements were easy to make. The owners where responsive to questions and very informative. The proximity to the ocean is fabulous, and the view from the covered deck all one could wish for. It was exactly as advertised. In fact, the condo was closer to the ocean than I actually expected from the pictures. In general, the condo was immaculately clean and decorations were lovely and very homey. I think the one room which was not as immaculate may have been an omission by the cleaning crew because the rest of the place was spotless. I would eagerly stay here again. Beautiful, fabulous, restful view and Amelia is a lovely place to visit, shop, walk the beach, and enjoy the wonderful restaurants. The Spanish restaurant downtown (I cannot remember the name) was also fabulous.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Brannen/Wallace condo on Amelia Island for the entire month of Aug. 2010. From the moment you enter the property, you will notice this is pure luxury all the way. The grounds are not only clean, but well-manicured and beautiful. The actual unit is completely outfitted from "soup to nuts." The eat-in-kitchen has every imaginable appliance you could desire. I have never stayed in a unit better equipped. The three bedrooms have the softest sheets, and, peaceful sleep is not hard to come by. The adjoining bathrooms are spacious, clean, and homey. The living and dining room (yes you heard right a dining room) are comfortable and inviting, perfect for those rainy nights with a bowl of popcorn and a good movie. Last, but not least, THE BALCONY! OH MY GOD! This is where I would have liked to have spent all my time if I could have. With the unit being situated on a corner, you have a constant breeze even on the hottest of days. The ocean front view is BREATHTAKING! We found the owners to be very friendly and helpful. Overall, our experience was an A+ on all levels. If you choose to rent here you will not be disappointed!

This is a beautiful condo that comes with everything you would have at home. I especially enjoyed sleeping on a mattress that was as comfortable as mine at home. Many times mattresses in rental condos are a poor quality but not here! I have rented many condos at Amelia over the last fifteen years and this was one of the best. The owners were also very nice to work with. I would definitely return to this condo because you get what you expect.

This is a great place to stay. My family stayed here a week in July and had a great time. The condo itself is very spacious and very well kept. It has nice furniture and the kitchen is well stocked. The view is great from the 2nd floor and is easy to get to without using the elevator. I would recomend this unit to anyone looking for a nice relaxing place to stay.v
