  This was our first time staying in a vacation rental, as well as our first international trip. The apartment was amazing, very clean, very well maintained, and in a great location. Communication with Johan was quick. We had a little confusion about the check out, but it was sorted quickly. The Reaumur-Sebastopol metro stop (a prior review lists the metro stop as Etienne Marcel, but that's one stop away) is literally just around the corner, which made it incredibly easy to get around the city. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen made it so easy for bringing home groceries and preparing meals so we didn't have to eat out for every meal. Having a washer and dryer in the apartment was a huge blessing as it allowed us to pack our suitcases a little lighter knowing we could wash clothes. Directly across the street was the Noodle Atelier, made for a great meal our first night. Also on the corner (to the right when you exit the building) is a little bar/cafe that made amazing omelettes. On the other corner (to the left when you exit the building) was a little bakery called Midore that had the best paninis as well as salads, quiches, and pastries, all were awesome. Having the metro nearby allowed us to visit the market at Rue Montorgueil which was just a short walk from the Les Halles metro station. On most days the shops on Rue Montorgueil were open and included produce, bakeries, butchers, seafood/fish, chocolate, a couple grocers, etc, and it made it easy to find great foods to bring back to the apartment for meals. One stand in particular had the best fresh strawberries and green beans. We went back a second time on a Sunday afternoon, and one street over from Rue Montorgueil was an open market full of stalls that had everything from produce and bread, to seafood, to rotisserie chicken. Truly amazing. Staying in this apartment, we were truly able to experience more of the local culture than we would have had we stayed in a hotel, and as mentioned before, the nearby metro stop made it so easy to get around the city. If I ever make it back to Paris, this is the way to go! Forget hotels!

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

  Beautiful place in excellent location. Practical equipment completes picture of this place. And it is very good maintained, clean and tidy. I truely recommend.

  Beautful building, well maintained. Love the old charm of the place, great decor. Nice linens and beds where very cozy. Place was very clean when we arrived. Owner was gracious and easy to work with. Helped us find great places to eat in the area. We will definitelly come here again !

  Our stay in this apartment was perfect for our trip to Paris. The apartment is stylishly decorated and is very clean. The kitchen is stocked with enough dishes and pans to do whatever anyone would need for a quick meal. We felt very safe in this apartment. The location was great for our needs. We would definitely stay here again.

  I had an amazing and wonderful apartment in centre of Paris. I'm used to book apartments with friends and we were never been disappointed, but this one is speechless! Johan's apartment reflect that he loves art! It is more amazing than pictures in the website : beautiful suite room, perfectly decorated and a nice american kitchen, and it is in the centre, near of everything (café,bar, métros, shopping - Montorgueil is like 2 minutes by walk). My friends and I recommended this luxurious apartment! I really appreciate to book with him, really easy and kind ! I'm looking forward to come back again!

  Great, specious, comfortable apartment. We stayed here for few days in July. It was an amazing experience. The place, was clean, tidy , pretty modern and sunny. The apartment was located in the middle of Paris, surrounded by beautiful spots and restaurants with delicious food. We willl definitely come here again.

  Our stay in Paris was awesome! This lovely apartment was one of the reasons we had such a good time. Great location, spacious and a cool breeze! The key was delivered right on time. Everything was exactly as promised. We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. I cannot wait for our return to Paris and a another stay in our ‘home away from home’! PERFECT!

  An extremely spacious apartment in a great location in Paris. The location is prime, right in the middle of all the attractions, close to subway, anitquities, good restaurants. There is also grocery, just around the corner. The apartment itself is very clean and tidy and very original ! We will definitely come here again.

  Very nice apartment in the heart of paris. Clean, tidy, comfortable ond original! This property is perfect for families with small or older children, or would be fantastic for all adults, especially those who like to entertain. We are hoping we will be able to return soon!
