We just got back from our "magical" one month stay at your lovely, spacoius home in Cape Coral. So quiet , with spectular sunsets, we hardly ventured away from the pool. The dolphins, 10 feet off the dock, and the rays were facinating treats for us to enjoy. There are not enough words to describe out experience at your home. It was like living in paradise. Now for the best part, our new friends, YOU..the owners..... How delightful and helpful. Although you were 1500 miles away, a quick phone call answered our inquisitive minds. Loved it!!!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

I cannot say enough about this beautiful waterfront vacation home! My family of 4, and my retired parents stayed at this wonderful home and it had all the amenities that one could wish for. As you can see from the pictures in the listing the view is second to none. I have had multiple people email me upon our return home asking more about the home that we rented. Everyone that had seen the pictures were completely wowed by the breath taking views that this house has to offer. The home is located in a safe neighborhood and it is close to shopping and local attractions. I was especially interested in this home as I saw that it offered a salt water pool. My daughter has sensitive skin and we all commented on how soft our skin felt after coming out of the water compared to the homes that we have stayed at with chlorinated pools. Our family had split our vacation time between Cape Coral and Orlando, and when it was time to continue on to our second home, we were sad that our stay was coming to an end. We can’t wait to make this home a part of our future travel/vacation plans.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

You will not be disappointed renting this wonderful property. The views overlooking the canal from the lanai or anywhere in the house were spectacular. The pool area is very private and the property is in a very quiet neighbourhood perfect for going on long walks. We stayed at this house for 3 weeks and never encountered any problems. There is lots of shopping near by and there are a variety of restaurants to choose from if you choose to go out. We usually just watched the sunsets from the lanai watching the fish jump in the canal with a nice glass of wine, a perfect way to end the day.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This is truly an amazing property with amazing views. Elegant would be a good word to describe this home. We found it to be spacious but comfortable. Even with six people staying in our party, we never felt on top of each other. Everyone was able to find their favorite spot in this home. The outdoor grill and expansive patio provided us with an outdoor venue we all loved. A perfect spot to curl up with a good book or enjoy a wonderful meal. The kitchen was well equipped and a joy to use. The master bedroom features dramatic views with an awesome bedroom and bath. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to enjoy the warmth of Florida in a safe, non-tourist, relaxing atmosphere. The owners left us lots of literature directing us to wonderful restaurants (fancy and, mostly non-fancy) . We mostly chose to stay home, cook, and enjoy everything this home had to offer. It would be tough to have a bad time here. We hope to return soon!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car.

We are a semi-retired couple who love the Cape Coral area. We have rented other homes in Cape Coral and this is one of the best vacation homes we have rented. It is an open and spacious floor plan with fantastic views of the intersecting canals. The pool is very private and heats nicely. We had a wonderful, relaxing and comfortable vacation here and we hope we can do it again sometime. We would recommend this house to anyone wanting a beautiful house with georgous water views located in an upscale area.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

After several hours by the computer searching for our perfect holiday home we found it. This house has it all. The location is great. The add doesn't lie, you really "Live the dream" here, and the photos don't lie. It's just as great as it looks. We spent 16 days there, but we didn't want to go back to Norway. We fell in love! The days went so quickly. Sue gave us a lot of good help along the way. The neighbours are very nice, and your "local guy", Dennis is nice and very helpful too This is a very quiet neighbourhood, felt very safe. The only thing we heard at nighttime were the small frogs "singing" , the fish jumping in the canal and some times the owl. One good thing about this great location is that you can't hear the traffic. You have all the space you need indoors. The rooms are big, and you can almost get lost in the masters bathroom! The beds are very comfortable. Close to good shopping opportunities, we especially like Publix with all the fresh meat, fish, fruit, bread and so on. The Edison Mall just across the bridge, down to Coconut Point and the Miromar Outlet mall, where all excellent for good shopping. We took the Key West Express from Fort Myers, just 25 min. drive from the house, down to Key West. This is one Must Do thing on your vacation here. Easy and very convenient way of travel, and the town can offer a lot. Sanibel and Captiva Islands are also on the Must Do list. the beaches are amazing, especially north on Captiva. Fill up the cooler, bring your beach stuff and go! The house had all the utilities you need for a day on the beach. You will even find small nice boutiques out there, worth a visit. The lanai area were often used by us. Our 12 year old daugther were in the pool all the time. We had all our breakfasts out there. The barbeque were often used too. So nice to be out on the lanai, eating a good meal, something good to drink and just enjoy the company and the beautifull sunsets. No wonder we fell in love with Cape Coral and this house. This is a good place to relax and recharge your batteries. We have no hesitation recommending this house to you. Thank you so much for letting us "Live our dream" at your beautiful home.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We had planned for a Florida vacation for years and finally decided to go through with it. After weighing the pros and cons of renting an apartment/condo or house, we finally decided to go with a house once we realized the very affordable prices of the weekly rentals and the many, many amenities included in the rental. I began research on a place and within a few days, had located a place I thought would accommodate my family (4 adults, 2 teens and 1 child) best. We received plenty of information about the house and its surroundings from the website but more so once I contacted our liason and we began emailing each other, me with questions I had, and she with information about those questions. Sue was an immense help in making our decision and ultimately, her advice and suggestions and kind nature were the reason we decided to go with her offer. The listing was very accurate regarding the location of the house and its amenities. Additionally, the photos really helped capture a visual sense of the location though, in all honesty, as good as the pictures look, they did not compare to actually being there. The view from the front door, through the glass and pool and into the canal was absolutely breathtaking. Lastly, the property was well maintained and clean and VERY organized. We had absolutely no difficulties in finding the basic necessities there and all appliances and such were ready for use upon arrival. The house is quite remarkable. Upon our arrival, there was a chorus of "OOooos" and "AAAhhhhhs" followed by the immense joy that we were going to be there for a week! We quickly did some food shopping at the nearby Wal-Mart supercenter (open 24 hours) and by the time we got back, cooled off in our own pool for a while before getting to bed! Perfect end to the day!! Needless to say, the week went by much too quickly, many of us regretfully suggesting we should have booked for longer. As we began our trek back to Canada, every now and again the house and our experience there were brought up in discussion and the general consensus was that we already missed it very much and can't wait to get down there again, next time, for a much longer rental period! I would absolutely recommend this location to my friends and family...in a heartbeat!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing.

About the owner: We are 2 practicing physicians who love living on the water and enjoy many outdoor activities. We fell in love with southwest Florida and had decided to look for our future retirement home in Cape Coral, although we still have a few years before we can fully retire. We were very lucky that we found our 'dream home', and we take pride in sharing our dreams with you!
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Southeast:
We had vacationed many times in southwest Florida over the years and loved everything this area had to offer. When we started to plan for our retirement, it was apparent that we would like to spend our golden years in this tropical paradise. We had searched extensively and looked at many houses. We knew this was the home for us the moment we saw it, a rare combination of a beautiful home, a great location and an UNBELIEVABLE view! Boating to nearby beaches or just fish off the dock, kayak in the canal or biking/waking along the water in this beautiful neighborhood, this home offers everything we enjoy, and hopefully, you enjoy too!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
There is a different, equally stunning sunset every night, it's the highlight of the day! If you are a fishing enthusiast (like my husband), you will enjoy it even more, nothing beats catching a fish while enjoying the sunset!
