  This place was everything that I hoped for in a cottage! It is situated right in the hamlet of Big Bear on a wooded lot in a quiet residential area. It is quaint and Beth has put a lot of time into making it cozy and comfortable for her guests with every amenity--down to toiletries. Evenings indoors with a glass of wine, chill music, and the warm glow of the fireplace casting onto the rustic interior was delightful; and the hot tub was just what the doctor ordered! If you are looking for a romantic weekend for two, this is the place I recommend. It could fit 4 with an air mattress but it's truly comfortable for two. I fear that once the news hits the streets on this place c'est la vie to availability! Book it today!

  SUCH A WONDERFUL CABIN!! My girlfriend and I had an amazing time up in Big Bear at this cabin. We felt so welcomed when we walked in late on Friday night. It was exactly as I was hoping it would be. The cabin is kept in immaculate shape and is supplied with everything imaginable. The interior is kept very tidy and clean. Access to Big Bear activities from this cabin couldn't be easier. It was a three minute drive to get to Snow Summit/Bear Mountain and about five minutes to downtown. After skiing we came back and lit a fire and warmed up inside while watching a little TV (full cable). After we warmed up we went outside to enjoy the hot tub (which we had preheated in the morning!). The cabin was absolutely wonderful and I couldn't imagine a more perfect place for our weekend getaway. I feel very fortunate to have found this place on VRBO and I am so glad it was available for the weekend we wanted to go. My girlfriend and I are already talking about trying to come back at least once a year and we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else! I would recommend this home to any couples or small familes looking for a peaceful, romantic weekend in the mountains. Lastly, the owner was VERY responsive the entire way through the process. She was very upfront with all of the information and is very trustworthy. She was very timely with emails and return phone calls (ALWAYS within 12 hours). She could not have been any easier to work with to plan this trip for my girlfriend!!

  My wife and I just got back from our second stay at this wonderful cabin. We were treated to the first snowfall of the year in Big Bear and spent lots of time in front of the fireplace and in the hot tub. As usual, the cabin was fully stocked with all the amenities we could need, including coffee and firewood. My wife is an interior designer and loves all of the attention to detail and decor that the cabin has to offer. The owner has gone out of her way to ensure that cabin is clean and inviting to guests. She is very pleasant and very responsive to our inquiries. I highly recommend this cabin to couples looking for a romantic weekend up in the mountains. We have stayed in several different cabins up in Big Bear and have found our ideal spot for weekend getaways. The cabin is located in the Moonridge area near Bear Mountain and is centrally located to all that Big Bear has to offer. We are already planning our next trip in the New Year and you can be sure that we will be staying here again!

  The cabin was so cozy. It's furnished adorably, and even the toiletries were unique and included contact solution! All in all, everything seemed to have been considered by Beth and the cabin has a ton of character. Great getaway for a couple. My gf loved it.

  My wife had never been to Big Bear and we needed a weekend getaway. This cabin was perfect for us. It was just the right size for the two of us. It was close enough to everything while still being far away enough to still feel like an escape from the world. It has all the amenities we needed and the owner provided a helpful list of activities and local restaurants. We look forward to staying there again.

  My wife and I spent a weekend at this cabin and we had a wonderful time. The cabin itself is very cozy, well decorated and it has all the amenities and supplies needed for a very comfortable stay. Hand soap, shampoos, dish washing liquid, candles, kitchen utensils, towels, q-tips, toilet paper, paper towels and just about anything else you can think of is stocked in this cabin which makes things incredibly convenient. This was not an issue for us but If you or someone accompanying you is in a wheel chair then this cabin is not wheel chair access friendly and you may want to consider other options. Otherwise it's excellent for a quick and comfy getaway. The cabin is very clean and really well organized which we appreciated a lot. I believe pets are not allowed so the cabin does not have pet hairs or any type of uncomfortable smell to ruin the stay. This was our first time renting it and oddly enough it feels like home away from home. The patio has a gas BBQ, fatio furniture and a really nice wood bench with little table for two. There is one parking spot right in front of the cabin but there is also plenty of space around for parking if more is needed. The booking service and owner's interaction with us was flawless and wonderful. She is kind, easy to work with and responds to emails and calls quickly. We highly appreciated all her inputs with things to do, spots to visit and restaurant recommendations for our stay at Big Bear. The cabin is perfect for a couple; even for a couple with smaller skids who could sleep on pull out sofa if needed but I would say it's ideal and perfectly setup for two people. To get to the lake, it takes approximately 2 minutes by car or a 15-20 minutes on foot. A couple blocks up from the house is a nice little trail entry for a comfy hike and walk through the nearby forest. Grocery stores are about 1-2 miles away so realistically speaking car is needed for basic shopping errands. There are no nearby stores within quick walking distance. No cleaning fees and reasonable, simple flat fee rate makes this cabin that much easier to deal with and book. Overall, our experience was excellent and we would return to this cabin any time or recommend it to our friends and family.

  This cabin was the PERFECT place! It is secluded but not too far away from the lake. The cabin itself is really cute! It's perfect for a romantic getaway! It is seriously the perfect weekend cabin! Everything that we would need was available & in perfect order-- the jacuzzi was clean, bed was super comfortable, bathroom stocked full of cute amenities, all necessary utensils & kitchenware! I could definitely cook up a feast! The cabin was very clean and very cozy!! Went w/ bf, and though the weather wasn't that great (rained the whole weekend), we had an AMAZING time. It was really relaxing and comfortable! We really felt like we were at home! :) We spent the weekend watching movies, lounged around, visited the Village, enjoyed the relaxing hot tub, cooking a scrumptious meal, and just really enjoying the solitude. The rain was annoying but it really felt like we were in our own little wonderland! LOVED IT! I recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic but affordable getaway. Great for couples! I will definitely be here again!! THANKS AGAIN!!! <3

  My boyfriend and I stayed here and loved it! The decorations are adorable and everything seems brand new. We love the location since it's private, yet close to everything Big Bear has to offer. The owner was extremely helpful and seemed to think of everything. We are pretty picky when it comes to beds and this one was extremely comfortable. We will certainly stay here again.
