Berghaus Chalet was custom-built in a private neighborhood for families or groups who want easy access to the Steamboat ski mountain.
Berghaus Chalet is a perfect base for families or groups seeking comfort and convenience with easy access to the Steamboat Ski Mountain. As one side of a large duplex property, it can be combined with the South Chalet to accommodate a large group of up to 20 .
The warm, open plan great room combines living space with the kitchen and dining areas beautifully accented by hardwood floors and vaulted timber ceilings. You can relax by the fire in the living room and enjoy the flat panel big-screen TV with digital cable while others enjoy the loft for a game of cards, roulette, or read a book while still being part of the home atmosphere.
The kitchen is fully equipped with GE gas stovetop, electric oven and dishwasher. Entertaining in-house is definitely part of the experience of staying in this home and provides a relaxing option after a day on the ski mountain. The dining table seats eight guests with additional seating for four at the adjacent kitchen bar.
The four bedrooms provide ample space for two or three families. There are two King Masters on the upper floor each with a full private bathroom. The main floor offers a third King Bedroom with private bath. The lower floor includes two Bunk beds with a total of four twin beds.
The recreation room on the lower level offers a second living area and alternatives for fun with a pool table to settle family rivalries and a big screen TV to keep you entertained. The hot tub is easily accessed from here and invites you to relax under the stars and rejuvenate for the day ahead.
There are many options to get around when staying at the Berghaus Chalets - the free city bus stops just a few blocks away and ski access is a breeze with our private shuttle service that will bring you to the ski mountain in just one minute. If you do have vehicles, there is a two-car heated garage and additional parking outside.
