The house dates back to around 1830 and built in the design of traditional French chateau. It is set in private and secluded grounds. There is a covered terrace running along the rear of the house adjacent to the pool, next to the terrace is also a small bar area with a barbeque. There is also an extensive grass area and an orchard with: cherry, fig, plum, pear, and walnut trees. Plenty of places to sit in the sun, or in the shade! Accommodation is very flexible. The ground floor, with access to all rooms from the grand hallway comprises of, open plan breakfast room connected to a large, and fully equipped kitchen, separate living room with TV and wifi, formal dining room. Upstairs is a large bathroom with corner bath and shower, master bedroom with four poster bed, four further bedrooms (2 en-suite) including mezzanine level. Central heating system, wood burner in the living room, and huge open fire in the breakfast room to keep the house warm in winter, and thick stone/pebble walls which keep it cool in summer. There is a grounds man and house keeper. If you decide to stay at Le Petit Chateau, the house and grounds of about 2 acres, will be yours for the duration of your stay. Ample parking.
