  • Perfect for adults who want a quiet private home

"My second one month stay in the past two years. Suggest you read the review by Cam. All that he said is correct and I will update and add a little. The owners have completed construction of their house which is attached to the Casita. In no way does this impede upon the privacy of the residents in the Casita. Ro and Dave live next door and are rarely seen. The Casita has every facility, its own patio and BBQ and every TV channel you could desire. The perfect location for one or two adults for a long stay who are active hikers or cyclists and or those wanting a self catering, tranquil location for reading, sitting in the sun and touring the Tucson area. Safeway is a 7 min drive with a wide selection of restaurants within 7 to 30 min drive. Don't hesitate book now and enjoy Tucson. Colin, Canada"

  • Enjoy--we did!

"We had the opportunity to spend three and a half months renting at the house in Tucson, AZ and cannot say enough about how beautiful the terrain was outside the windows. Seeing the stunning southern Arizona sunsets, then the star illumination of the dark sky followed by the sunrises over the Tucson Mountains was an experience we'll not forget. Desert creatures visited each day and night, and it was delightful to be so close to the land. The house was appointed with everything one might need to live in a home-like setting while on holiday and is quite comfortable."

  • Perfect house with wonderful owner/host

"My med school friends and I (along with our significant others) stayed at Poet's Retreat this November. Everything from the moment we contacted Kimberly to the moment we left the house was perfect. Her communication and directions were great. She was very accommodating for our peculiar needs. She ensured that everything was clear and that we had no issues whatsoever. Words cannot describe how charming this house is. It should be advertised in magazines. The decor and furnishings are amazing. The house has three comfortable bedrooms that can fit three couples very comfortably, with the master bedroom being a suite with outdoor access. The kitchen, living room, and dining area made us feel at home. The backyard is very well done with areas to relax along. There were even lemon and pomegranate trees to pick from. A washer/dryer was there to use. To make a long story short - you can't go wrong and don't think you can find better. You are guaranteed a fantastic host, great price, amazing house, utmost comfort, unbeatable charm, and everything with ease. Not a single thing we would change about the place and/or experience we had."

  • Nice House with a "Laid-back" Feeling

"We enjoyed this casa in a residential neighborhood near the University of Arizona. Mary has equipped the house with everything you would need, plus some thoughtful extras. She was very easy to work with. This property didn't feel contrived, instead it felt like we were borrowing a cottage from a cousin or aunt. It had a comfortable lived-in feeling that made it easy to feel at home. There are many good restaurants within less than a mile and, since the casa is in town, you avoid being assaulted by the endless shopping centers that have taken over the surrounding areas. A lot of trains roll through Tucson. If you are a light sleeper, that may be a problem and you might need to head for a condo in the hills instead (where, alas, you can't avoid seeing the shopping centers)."
