"Such a beautiful mountain home in a beautiful mountain setting. Veiws form the home are spectacular!!! The veiw of the red cliffs fom the patio, "Awesome"! The home is nicely decorated on the inside and so comfortable and quiet. The home is just minutes away from Downtown Historic Durango and so close to many outdoor activites. It has everything to make your stay most enjoyable. We would come back to this home time and time again."

"I have now had the pleasure of experiencing both river front homes over the last year on two different occasions. The first occasion was for a Fire Department Swift Water Rescue class. I am a Chief for a Fire District in the Prescott Area and I utilized Rio Angels for the accommodations for my students while they attended the class that lasted 5 day. We were able to house 10 firefighters in the two houses and we utilized the surrounding yard space to hold instructional classes. The houses were perfect for the guys and the outside space was perfect for spilling out and holding class outside. We were even able to utilize the easy access to the river for a class on river hydrology.
The second trip was over labor day with my family. They had heard about how happy I was with the training trip that they insisted on seeing if for themselves during a family getaway. We traveled with another family and once again the accommodations were perfect! While we were there we were almost continually rained on and the temperature dropped much lower than we had previously expected, but Gabriel's Cabin is so cozy that the adverse weather actually made our trip better. We invited friends from Durango over for a BBQ and enjoyed the rain!"

"Looks likes this unit was just renovated and it looks great. New Leather Furniture, New Carpeting and New Tile. I noticed a previous review and asked about the condition creaks etc.. the manager said that all the creaks in the floor etc.. were all done along with a total upgrade of the unit.... and he was right. We loved our stay. One day we hiked Potato Hill visible form the unit, (very difficult hike), another day we went into town, another we went fishing and we also went ATVing. Not only did this unit fit the needs of our family, the location is FANTASTIC! It was quiet too. What was great is this unit has 3 FULL baths with the three bedrooms. So no worries about taking showers. The beds were firm and for us that means comfortable. We did use the pool and sauna once and found it well kept and clean. The sauna is not worth the time though as it take forever to get hot. OVERALL this unit is truly a 5 star unit. We were very satisfied and the price we paid was great for such a nice unit. We will be back!"

The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was very clean.
I was happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
The house was beautiful and very well appointed. The only issues we had were the noise from the traffic on the 550 and the knives in the kitchen need sharpening. I butchered quite a few tomatoes. ;) Overall we enjoyed our stay and would rent it again but only if the rate were less to compensate for the road noise."
