  • Great Condo and Beautiful Beach!

"A wonderful place to stay. Loved that it was 1st floor with no steps to climb. Everything you would need was provided. Kitchen fully stocked, lots of towels and washclothes, washer and dryer and even an ironing board and hair dryer. Didn't use but all the beach gear you would need was there also. A beautiful beach with easy access to it. A private setting yet still convenient to lots of restaurants and shops. A very peaceful vacation was enjoyed."

  • Perfect for our ladies retreat!!!!!

"Seaside Reunion more that exceeded our expectations! Every year we take a group of ladies from our church on a three day retreat. We alternate between the beach and mountains each year. It's not always easy to find a place at the beach that will accommodate a group as large as ours. This house was PERFECT and had everything we needed. VERY CLEAN! Plenty of beds and they were very comfortable. Very large bathrooms with large showers. Large gathering rooms for our nightly meetings. Great pool area. We even had a little fun luau one night. The kitchens were well stocked with cookware and dishes. The owners were great to work with. We had a breaker to trip while we were there and they came right out to reset it for us. Other than that minor incident, we had no other problems. Christy also gave us recommendations for places to shop and eat. We tried several of them and they were great. 30 ladies and not one complaint about our accommodations! I hope this house is still available for our next beach retreat."

  • Spring Break 2015

"We enjoyed the condo very much!! It was much closer to the beach than expected. Kids enjoyed the heated pool and shuffleboard, and of course most of our time was spent at the beautiful beach! I have to agree with other reviews that the master bed was very, very firm, but that was our only complaint. For the price, this room can't be beat. We ate at Angelina's our last night and it was amazing!! We will definitely be staying at this condo again!"

  • Wonderful vacation at Emerald Hill

"We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo! The condo is just as it looks in the pictures. The master bedroom and bathroom were wonderful. The view from the balconies was absolutely fabulous! The beach itself was beautiful, but extremely crowded. The kitchen could use a few more items...we only had one dishtowel and washcloth. Some sharp knives and additional serving containers would be great. There were a lot of beach toys in the garage which was so nice. Overall, it was a great place and we would stay again!"

Seagrove Beach Travel Tips

The quiet town of Seagrove Beach is located in the Florida Panhandle and the perfect place to visit anytime of the year. Seagrove Beach gets its name from a thick grove of windswept trees surrounding the community. Today, the town has preserved the green canopies full of oaks, magnolias, hickories and sand pines that are essential to its past.

In the early 1900s, Seagrove Beach was known as Russ's Hammock and accessible via a path from Point Washington, a small mill town. The McGee family were some of the first property owners in Seagrove Beach who discovered the area in 1949. Then, the only way you could get to the town was on a sandy trail off of U.S. Highway 98.

Palm trees, sandy beaches and relaxation are what you can expect in Seagrove Beach. It's a desirable destination for those who want to experience a peaceful getaway from a busy life and sit back and enjoy the sounds of the water crashing on the shore.

Seagrove Beach Attractions

The water in and around Seagrove Beach is clear while the beaches are full of sugar white sand. For this reason, spending some time at the beach is a must when you visit. You can swim, fish, build sand castles or just lay in the sun, but if you're looking for more to do, there's plenty of it in Seagrove Beach and the surrounding South Walton area.

Eastern Lake is one of the largest dune lakes in South Walton. Visitors stop here for canoeing, kayaking and YOLO boarding. Eastern Lake is also the trailhead of a hiking and biking trail that leads you through Point Washington State Forest.

Point Washington State Forest has more than 10 miles of trails for those who want to make their way through the 15,000-acre forest on bike, foot or just take in the beauty of the surrounding ecosystem. The most popular route for cyclists and hikers is from Eastern Lake to Cassine Garden where you may catch a glimpse endangered red-cockaded woodpecker or a gopher tortoise. The sand hills, basin swamps, wet flatwoods, wet prairie and cypress swamps that make up Point Washington State Forest make for the perfect stop if you want to get in touch with nature.
