"This place is fantastic. There are 5 of us and the condo still felt spacious. Gorgeous balcony with sea views and a large BBQ. Within a very short walk to the pool. It is the most well equiped condo we have ever stayed in and the cooking facilities are excellent. We had no problems during our stay. We had a lovely week here and would happily stay here again if we are ever back on the big island."Guest: belinda Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 5, 2014View listing
"I have been to the Hali'I Kai property several times to look at the models, but this was my first stay in one of the units. The location of this unit is one of the best on the property, and one of only three buildings with an ocean front location. We spent most of the time on the lanai just enjoying the view of the water, an occasional sail boat, and even one whale sighting, even though whale watching season was over. The kitchen has everything you can ask for - Subzero fridge, Wolf oven, Viking hood - all the amenities you need to prepare meals and enjoy them on the lanai. And best of all, during the entire eight day stay, we only saw two people walking past the lanai, as this is a very private location on the property. With the Ocean Club pool just three buildings away, this unit has everything you could ask for to enjoy the perfect get away on the Big Island. I would highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed."Guest: Andrew Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 26, 2014View listing
"We spent 5 amazing nights in this condo. As two couples, the set up of the unit was perfect. The kitchen was well-stocked with all our cooking needs. The appliances were all top-notch..including a great coffee maker! This was such a great setup..much better than being confined to a hotel room..even the upscale ones are limited. The living room had a great TV and sofa/loveseat setup. We enjoyed just relaxing and chatting with each other as the cool tropical breeze came through all the lovely windows. There is an air conditioner but the trade winds coupled with the large number of windows made it unnecessary. There were two large bedrooms on each end of the condo so there was lots of privacy. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was much more luxurious than mine at home! I felt totally pampered and taken care of. The owners were nice enough to have a couple of beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel, 4 very large beach towels…and best of all was a large ice chest that we made use of as we did our daily trips around the very large Big Island. The best part of the condo was the lanai. There was a great BBQ and lovely round dining table with comfortable chairs. The second-story view was overlooking the golf course and had a wonderful vista with the setting sun over the Pacific Ocean. We carefully checked for the condo that would have that vista. The Hawaiian sunsets are what I was looking for in this vacation. The Hali’i Kai condos are immaculately taken care of. We joked about how long it would take them to tidy up a fallen coconut frond..not long. The grounds are very pleasant to walk or do a quick run. The Lava Lava Club in the Waikaloa area was wonderful for a sunset dinner (Seared Ahi was amazing). The best adventure we had was a morning snorkeling experience on the SeaQuest..the boat fits only 10 people. It is a ‘fast’ boat so those of us with seasickness tendencies had NO trouble. They also took care of the newbies (use the foam ‘noodle’) and had very well fitted snorkels, masks. The owners were very helpful with the booking and planning. They suggested stopping at Costco after the airport and just as you leave Kailua-Kona. I cannot begin to tell you how great their condo is. Obviously, they are pros at this. Instructions were very clear on how to operate everything (AC, BBQ, etc). All in all (I had to cut this short..running out of room)..this is the place you want to stay on the Big Island!"Guest: Rod M. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 30, 2014View listing
"My family had a wonderful time. The location is excellent, the condo is great, and the pool area is good for young kids. We had everything that we needed. Also, Helen and her husband, the owners, took great care of us during Hurricaine Iselle. She ensured that we were safe, had all the things that we would need, responded quickly to questions, and allowed us to really enjoy our vacation. We will be back."Guest: Happy Family Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 16, 2014View listing

Luxury in Halii Kai Resort Rentals
You've had pleasant rooms before, with all the pleasant amenities. A hotel was suitable in all ways, offering space and pretty views. Unfortunately, those views came with a too high cost of distance. You were kept away from all attractions, forced to travel long hours to reach your destinations. With Kohala Coast condos, there is no such sacrifice. You will have the elegance you crave and the adventures you need. They are dependent on each other and your pleasure. You can have it all.
Kohala Coast Condos: Find Your Fun
Leave Halii Kai resort rentals and see what waits beyond. Travel first to nearby Anaehoomalu Beach. There you will find lava-stained sand and over 30 miles to explore. Swim, sail and fish the day away. Go west then to the Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park, where you'll find local wildlife and countless trails. Spend the afternoon with dolphins at the Hilton Waikoloa Village; and then let the Village thrill you again with its King's Golf Course. Over 7000 yards can be traveled, offering some of the best views (and games) in the world. And finally end the evening by sampling the delights of the famed Imari restaurant. It brings Asian flavors to a Hawaiian setting.
Halii Kai Vacation Rentals: Enjoy
Variety is necessary; comfort is wanted; and, with Kohala Coast condos, you can have both. It's the trip you've been waiting for.
