  • Thumbs Up for Seabreeze

"Fist, we want to thank Hernando and Paulette for allowing us the opportunity to make Seabreeze our home for nine beautiful days. You were kind, patient, and helpful. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and at ease throughout the trip. For potential visitors, if you want a place away from the crowds in Waikiki, with the ability to rent a house for the price of a hotel room, look no further than this place here. It had everything we were looking for...lots of space; a kitchen, two rooms (and two baths); a kitchen; washer/dryer; great location; our own pool. Make your Hawaiian vacation a special one and stay at Seabreeze. It's a hidden gem."

  • A Perfect Holiday in Hawaii

"My wife and I spent two lovely weeks at Villa Koko (Marshall’s name for his charming guest house) located in Hawaii Kai (a suburb of Honolulu). We had read all the excellent reviews but were pleased to find that the place itself was even better than we expected. Marshall clearly loves his role as concierge, and he was able to direct us to secret beaches and all the best dining options. We lived like locals in a neighborhood of million dollar homes, located on a golf course, and within walking distance of a surfing beach. Another hidden gem was the Koko Crater Botanical Garden which is also within walking distance and open from dawn to dusk (very safe, very beautiful, and an easy two mile hike). Hawaii Kai is close enough to easily drive to Waikiki but far enough to be away from the vast majority of tourists. This location also has the crown jewel of snorkeling beaches, Hanauma Bay, where you can see an abundance of colorful fish swimming among the coral. We really enjoyed having off street parking, a private entrance, high-end furnishings, and a fabulous garden. Marshall is a delightful host and his little dog Tweed was well behaved but always available to wish us a good morning. We found the tiny kitchenette a bit limiting but adequate for our needs. All things considered, this was a terrific value and a wonderful way to visit paradise."

  • Everything we could possible want and more!

"What a wonderful stay we had! This was my families first stay in Hawaii and we had a blast. We first stayed in a place in Waikiki. While that was nice it was very noisy and crowded. It was so refreshing to move away from all the crowds and noise to this very peaceful and charming cottage. We were still 5 minutes away from stores and restaurants but we didn't have to hear fire trucks and motorcycles. The owners are very nice and would e-mail back and forth prior to answer any of the questions we had. They live next door and are willing to assist you with anything you would need. They also respect your privacy and we hardly saw or heard them. The cottage was equipped with anything you could possibly want. They even leave you a few surprises. There is a huge deck that has a couch, TV, a hammock, and hot tub. I loved watching TV from the hot tub at night after a long day of tours. There was even an outdoor shower. They have a fire pit, grill, one person sauna, a shed with beach equipment, a/c (which we didn't need because of the breeze), cable TV and WiFi. There is one bed and then another bed up in a loft. I slept in the loft and I was very comfortable. Everything was very clean and new. I can't wait to plan another vacation. I know where I will be staying."

  • A great stay at Southshore 43

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time. The house was a little overused compared to the photos online. The guest bedroom television was not functioning and the gas grill wAs not working either. We called for repair and the repairman, Bob, was there within an hour and had both items working. In addition, Bob suggested some great places to tour on the island. We really appreciated his help."
