"We were two natives returned home to play for a week. The first word in the title of Frankie's Place (FUN) was all I needed to give it our consideration. Frankie was very easy to work with and was gracious even though we were searching the evening before arrival. He had a parking space set aside for us and let us know of his favorite local eateries in walking distance. For the most part we spent our evening time on Frenchman at Bamboula's. Best fried oysters we had ever had and our first intro to an Abita "strawberry gator". Delish! We stayed aware, but never had any major stranger dangers in walking to and from Frenchman or the Quarter at night. It was fun in the morning to swing the doors open and drink coffee at the patio table in front of the door. It put us VERY close to the locals who were all friendly, maybe one a little too friendly :o) The Friendly bar across the street started perking up in the late afternoon and stayed audible until the middle of the night, but thanks to Frankie having Apple TV, we could play a nice "summer rain" noise through the speakers and drown out the street noise. The bed was very comfortable and the flat was outfitted with everything we needed for our 5 night stay. Being able to eat in and do laundry was a huge plus. IF you are able to travel with your bike, there are TONS of folks in the Marigny pedaling around, you might like to join them. We would definitely recommend this flat. Just bring your ipad, iphone or other device with a good white noise app for quieting down the fun outside!"

"We had the BEST time!! We stayed from Thurs. to Sun. The condo was perfect for what we needed, and it was in perfect condition. The wood floors and brick walls gave it a lot of character. We parked around the corner at the Shops on Canal which was $27 a day/night. Not bad since many places charge $40-$45 for weekend nights. One day we even called in a food order to the House of Blues across the street and just walked over to pick it up. We hope to use this condo again!!! Thank you so much!"

"My daughter and I have stayed in several locations in New Orleans, but none can compare to this apartment. It is clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked and loved the convenience of the washer and dryer. There is a small patio in the back with a table and chairs and although it was chilly the month we stayed there, it was nice to be able to sit outside away from the street. Kevin was a most gracious host, responding quickly to a few of the issues we had. The location is unmatched , close to the French Quarter and Jackson Square. Although it had only one bed, which was amazingly comfortable, my daughter was able to sleep on the sofa with no discomfort. We rented a car for the month and the convenience of secured parking was a plus as it is nearly impossible to park on the street. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay in New Orleans."

"This condo is right on the edge of the French Quarter and near Frenchman St. It was super clean and just what we expected and needed. It is the size of a large hotel room with a small kitchen off of it. The kitchen was complete, but if you're planning to do a lot of cooking in (and who would in New Orleans?) then this might not be the best option. We ate out at the fabulous restaurants around the city, so it wasn't a problem for us. The bed was comfortable, and we were grateful for the wifi. There is a TV, but we didn't turn it on.
The provided parking pass was a great perk. We did, however, have a very difficult time parking after we'd driven to restaurants two of the nights we were there. I don't know if it was unusual or not, but it took us an hour of circling to find a spot. Of course, it didn't help that we were in a large truck.
Overall, it was a very good experience, and we felt at home."
