  • Outstanding property!

"We live in Las Vegas and rented this property for three nights. The purpose of our trip was to allow us to spend some time with our two daughters, one son-in-law and a grandson before the 2nd daughter got married the following weekend. Just as important, it gave us the opportunity to spend some time with our future son-in-law (whom we had not met before this trip). This four bedroom, four bathroom property with its screened in porches overlooking the lake, next to the pool (although too cool to use) and handy BBQ was perfect for these three days and we couldn't be happier (with the property AND the future son-in-law). This property was even more beautiful than the pictures show and we will definitely look forward to staying there in the future."

  • Great deck!

"We just returned from our time at Liquid Relaxation and that is exactly what it was. I loved the deck with the porch swing, lots of outside seating and a hot tub. My favorite thing was just to take in the beauty if the lake from the porch swing. The deck/porch is covered, so even though it rained a bunch while we were there, we still got to go outside and enjoy. The 4 bedrooms with king sized beds were nice with 4 bathrooms. The downstairs space is large and we especially enjoyed the pool table. The kitchen is very well stocked and they included so many extras in the house like a washer and dryer, shampoo in the showers, hair dryer, and even the alarm clock in our bedroom had two outlets to plug in my phone and tablet. The owners were very accommodating. My grandson tipped over a small glass table and broke it. The owners were more concerned for his safety than the loss of the table. The only downside I found was that the upstairs door opens from the inside even when locked, so it was hard to keep my adventuresome grandson in. Also, the road to get there is very narrow and looks like a lane instead of a road, so it was hard to find. Overall, it is a great property to stay in!!!"

  • Quiet, clean, and oh-so-chic!

"5 moms looking for a quiet escape had a grand time on the island! The condo was ultra cute, clean, and comfortable with a fantastic view of the main channel. The owner, Paula, was super nice and quick to respond to our pleas for help. She provided information about rentals, good places to eat, and the ferry. This condo is a deal and the ferry (which will be replaced with a land bridge in fall, 2014, I understand) is a fun adventure! Just plan your trips off on the island to leave at the top of the hour. Or stay on the island the whole time, like we did! If you are going to be doing any extra fancy cooking, you might want to bring any special supplies you may need. The kitchen is nicely equipped with basic supplies (blender, toaster, measuring cups and spoons, cheese grater, some bowls, a few cutting knives, a few pans, cooking spoons and spatulas, some cooking glassware, a can opener, cutting mats, a few food storage containers, spoons, forks, knives, plates, glasses, plastic cups -- almost all the basic supplies!). We wished we had packed a wine opener (which the condo typically has and Paula kindly offered to bring out to us (!!), but we found a helpful neighbor instead). The condo also provides 4 beach towels, kitchen towels, plenty of bath towels, some reusable grocery bags, sample sizes of shampoo and soap, a little bottle of liquid dish soap, a roll of paper towels, a couple dishwasher soap packs, and some fabric soap*. If you're staying longer than a weekend, you might want to pack trash bags, toilet paper, more dishwasher soap packs, a bigger bottle of liquid dish soap, extra paper towels, more dishwasher soap packs, and more laundry supplies. *Some of these may have been left over from a previous renter. I don't want to claim that the home-owner will always provide these things! The pool is very nice with a great view of the lake and a kid-friendly zero-entry end. The beach chairs a bit short on number (especially on Saturday) and there is no shade, so if you are inclined, we recommend throwing in that beach umbrella and a couple of chairs. We had a GREAT time relaxing on the deck (that's where we ate our meals), sleeping in, vegging by the pool, and generally enjoying ourselves. Other condo-owners were nice and helpful. I highly recommend this condo as a fun, relaxing place to stay! We're hoping to go back next time we're at the lake!"

  • Holiday weekend

"We rented this house for the 4th of July weekend with 4 couples total. The house was amazing and spacious. We spent a lot of time on the deck and on the 4th of July we took a boat party cruise to the local bars. The owner was very attentive and made sure we had a great experience. The neighbors were very friendly. My boyfriend of 6 years proposed while we were there! I will never forget that experience and we will be back next year for sure!!"
