  • Perfect Fall Stay!!

"My husband and I stayed at Arborcrest during Parents Weekend for a local College. It was perfect for our needs! The owners had coffee, tea, and other extras that we did not expect. The cottage was clean and very nice. The owners were great! We will definitely Stay again in the spring. I would highly recommend it!!"

  • The Perfect Respite'!

"We rented The Cottage for the entire month of May while my husband was in the area for work. As a free-lance writer, I couldn't have been more pleased with the setting! Tucked at the back of the estate, it was as though I had the entire 100 acre historic estate to myself! My days consisted of writing, hiking and returning to The Cottage to enjoy the cozy warmth of the wood stove. Despite it's "away-from-it-all" feel, the property truly is centrally located with all the area's major attractions within easy driving distance. The village of Fishkill has some great restaurants - you won't want to miss The Tomato Cafe', the Maya Cafe' and Cantina, or the I-84 Diner! The Culinary Institute of America NY is also close by - I went for lunch whenever I could, sampling each of their restaurants. History buffs are in for a treat as there are many historic sites nearby. We already have plans to return to the area when my husband doesn't have to work so we can both enjoy all The Cottage, Willow Lake Farms and Dutchess County have to offer!"

  • What a View!

"This is a beautiful home with one of the loveliest lake views I have seem. The house itself is spacious, clean and well maintained. The owner is accessible and eager to help (although we had no problems during our stay). The only aspect of this rental that is not perfect is the parking. Since the property is on a severe slope, parking in the driveway is not recommended. A convenient spot is provided across the road but even this on a slope. It makes loading and unloading the vehicle tricky. Otherwise, you couldn't find a nicer place."

  • Five Stars, Hands Down!

"We had an awesome time in Hudson, mainly because the accommodations were so stellar. The house is clean and decorated in a chic, Mid-Century style while the backyard/deck area is spectacular. We had high hopes for the property and if far exceeded our expectations. Marty is really wonderful to rent from, he's really responsive, super friendly and provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. My fiance and I rented the house with another couple over Labor Day weekend and hope to rent again sometime this fall!"
