We have 4 cottages to choose from! 3 are right next to each other and the 4th is around the corner!

We are very excited to open our 4th cottage in the historic district of Georgetown.

We are proud to offer top of the line bedding, linens, towels, and other amenities, including Eco-friendly toiletries.

We have a fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs.

This comfortable 2 King Suite bedrooms, 2 bath cottage, that sleeps 8, is only 5 blocks from the historic Georgetown Square and 7 blocks from Southwestern University. About a 5-7 minute easy stroll.

We offer two King Suites each equipped with a king bed that has high end mattresses and linens. One of the suites also has a trundle bed with quality mattresses and high quality linens. Each suite has en suite bathrooms.

We also have, for your convenience, a washer and dryer in the garage area.

For your convenience we have a PacknPlay and toddler booster seat.

You have complete use of the entire house and yard. The backyard is fenced with a seating/eating and landscaping in the near future as the weather cooperates!

You have the option of convenient parking right in front of your cottage or directly behind the cottage in a two car garage that is very convenient for your stay. It is accessed through the small alleyway off of Ash Street. It is the second garage that you will see. There is a code to operate the garage which will be given to you before checkin.

Wonderful stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We had plenty of room, everything was clean, the kitchen was well stocked with essential items for cooking, and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if we found ourselves in Georgetown.

Perfect place

Had all amenities for cooking - everything!! Also very quaint and cozy!! Nice patio with flowers etc. Great location for town activities. Pam left great ideas about restaurants etc. Our second stay - First time was a guest! Very clean with lots of books - comfortable bed! Will repeat!!

Wedding Weekend

We had a wonderful stay! So close to everything… able to walk to the square and a 2 minute drive to see our sons at Southwestern. The house was clean, the beds comfy, and had all the amenities needed.

Our family stayed here for my son's college graduation. The location was close to the square and everything we enjoy doing in Georgetown. The cottage was charming and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Skip the check in at a hotel and all hassles that go with that...

We flew in from Chicago and it was so nice to just punch in a code and walk into a cute and homey cottage and start our vacation. We were all excited when we saw how nicely decorated and appointed Hudson House is. It was much more comfortable than having separate hotel rooms and having to hear people getting off an elevator and talking in the hall. This cottage is quiet, peaceful and just really charming. Great location, nicely landscaped, and just overall clean and perfect for a family gathering. We loved staying here so much that we added an extra day! I would strongly recommend this option over our last stay in Georgetown at the Sheraton.

Great location

We had a great trip to Georgetown. The property is within walking distance of many wonderful shops and restaurants. The garage was very open and clean, but we had two larger vehicles that could not be parked together. I parked on the street and did not feel like my vehicle was unsafe - I mention it to give someone a heads up. The beds and baths were comfortable and everything was very clean. The host referred us to many fun activities and great places to eat.

Precious cottage

We loved our stay in Georgetown at this precious cottage for a family wedding weekend. Convenient location was an easy walk to the square. Nice spacious bedrooms with King beds and a trundle for the kids. We also loved having a garage to easily come and go. Thank you.

Terrific Time

Adorable, comfortable, very clean cottage. In a great neighborhood. Close to downtown and easy access to I-35. Pam was so easy to work with and responded almost immediately to any questions I had. We had a wonderful time and will stay at a College Street Cottage anytime we are in Georgetown.

Charming cottage big enough for the family

The location is a few blocks from downtown. Downtown Georgetown is like taking a step back in time. People are very friendly and the town square is full of activity. The cottage has a quaint backyard that is peaceful. At night we enjoyed sitting on the front porch. Perfect way to end the day Kitchen has everything you need if you want to prepare a meal. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. We will definitely return.

Owners Pam and Al Bartschmid have been residents of Georgetown since 1983. They fell in love with the historic charm and hometown appeal and decided to raise their family and someday retire there. “We wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.”, opines Pam. “Georgetown has everything we need and if we want more, Austin is a short 30 miles south.”

Why they chose this property

We chose these properties because there are 3 cottages all right next to each other. What a great way to spend a weekend or a few months. Then Hudson's cottage is just around the corner.

What makes this property unique

The cottages are located in the historic area of Georgetown. It is a short stroll to the town square (voted the most beautiful town square in Texas) and an equally brief walk to Southwestern University, about 6 short blocks.
