El apartamento se abre al jardín de nuestra casa eduardiana, sobre el casco antiguo de Hastings. El dormitorio principal tiene una cómoda cama con dosel, el segundo dormitorio tiene literas con dosel. El apartamento tiene una cocina moderna que incluye lavaplatos, un baño con ducha a ras de suelo y una hermosa sala de estar con ventanas francesas y una acogedora chimenea de gas de "carbón vivo" para calentarte después de un apacible paseo otoñal. El apartamento es ideal para cuatro personas, pero el sofá de la sala de estar se convierte en una pequeña cama doble para una o posiblemente dos. Hay mucho que hacer en y alrededor de Hastings. El casco antiguo, el paseo marítimo y el parque campestre están a poca distancia a pie, por lo que si te gusta la caza de antigüedades, el peinado de la playa o los paseos tempestuosos, seguramente encontrarás mucho para mantenerte ocupado. Caminar por el casco antiguo hasta el paseo marítimo y Jerwood Gallery dura unos 15 minutos.

We had such a lovely stay - the hosts were accommodating and friendly and the property was cosy, homely and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed sitting in the garden in the autumn mornings, which felt like a sanctuary - listening to the birds and enjoying the plants and trees. The gas fire in the living room was warming in the evenings. Beds were comfy, space was clean and it's a lovely location up on a hill, an enjoyable 15-20 minute ramble into Hastings Old Town.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön! Wer eine interessante Wohnung mit authentischer Einrichtung sucht, findet sie hier! Der Garten lädt zum verweilen ein. Die Lage ist super, nur 15 min Fußweg von der Altstadt entfernt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und unkompliziert!

Wir (mein Mann und ich und unsere drei Töchter zwischen 14 und 19) verbrachten knappe zwei Wochen im Juli in der Ferienwohnung und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.Die Gastgeber, die im selben Haus wohnen, waren ausgesprochen freundlich und entgegenkommend.Platz war genug für uns fünf; unsere jüngste Tochter hat auf dem breiten Ausziehbett im Wohnzimmer bequem geschlafen. Ausserdem hatten wir Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten den Essplatz im Freien mit Blick auf den schönen Garten jeden Tag geniessen.Der Stadtkern von Hastings und die Seaside waren problemlos zu Fuss zu erreichen. In Hastings und Umgebung war in der 2. und 3. Juliwoche noch nicht allzuviel los, da die Schulferien offenbar noch nicht begonnen hatten.Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Hastings bei Clare und Andrew. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön, toll gelegen und sehr schön eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Der Garten ist ebenfalls ein Traum. Unser fünf jähriger Sohn hat sich ebenfalls total wohl gefühlt. Clare und Andrew sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Perfect location for 2 nights. The owners, Claire and Andrew made us very welcome and gave us helpful tips on what do do in Hastings. Very clean, comfortable accomodation and beautiful garden.

Good location, great space

Spotlessly clean and within a 5 minute drive of the beach/town centre or a 15 min walk away. Quiet location and spacious rooms. Very comfortable double bed. Lots of storage, equipped kitchen with basics - salt etc. On-street parking with spaces available. Great communication from hosts. Would book again!

Absolutely spotless

Andrew and Clare are absolutely delightful hosts nothing was too much trouble for them.The apartment was very cosy and yet spacious absolutely immaculate throughout it’s ideally located and there’s even a slight sea veiw from two of the rooms.would definitely recommend this place and hopefully we definitely be coming back.

Our vacations in Hastings

The appartment is very beautiful, cosy, clean and calm and ideal for a family with kids. The owners Clare and Andrew are very friendly and helpful and supported us out with maps and recommendations about the area and train and bus-use. We traveled with our own car from Germany and it is possible to park close to the house. It is okay to use the pretty garden.. We really, really want to recommend this offer! We had a perfect stay there at Clares and Andrews house and want to say thank you for all. We would like to come back, if we come back to Hastings / Sussex.

Great location and hosts

Beautiful space, perfect as a base to explore the area. Garden is immaculate and with a lovely veranda area to sit outside. Clare and Andrew were welcoming and helpful. Well stocked kitchen with all the utensils you may need and also some condiments. Lovely bathroom with a great power shower and plenty of hot water. Bed was really comfortable. Lots of local information leaflets and games (plus Lego) to keep all ages entertained if the weather is not kind.

A perfect blend of tranquility and convenience

My husband, infant and I stayed for three nights at this wonderful rental. We appreciated the impressive antiques in the home, the beautiful gardens, and the warm cozy fireplace. The place was incredibly clean and had everything we needed. We bought some groceries in town and made breakfast each morning. Clare and Andrew were both very kind and helpful when we needed them. The flat is a nice walk into town through pedestrian walkways. Our baby is still small enough that she was very easy to carry up and down the hill, but when we needed to take a taxi, it came quickly and brought us into town for a very affordable price of six euros. The bus route can also drop you off a block away from the house which we utilized a few times. Andrew recommended a few restaurants that were delicious. The flat was perfect for our needs and we would glady return.

Lovely house with garden

Warm welcome we received from Clare and Andrew. Absolute lovely people to talk to. Clare helped us for our trip and informed us with a perfect kids walk up to the east cliff. House is perfect for a family (we have 3 kids). We could use the garden and had breakfast there in the sunny morning. We absolutely enjoyed this garden! Easy walk to the Hastings center.

We were now guests for the second time in this well-kept, cozy accommodation with a view of the beautiful garden. The location is very quiet and perfect for walks into the old town and on the west and east hills. The landlords are very nice and helpful.

Lovely Flat!

I am not sure where to start...this was a great base from which to explore Southeast England. Beautiful flat with comfy beds overlooking a lovely garden and view of Hastings. I was a little worried with our 6 foot boys that they would struggle with the bunk beds but they had no issues.We found on street parking was always available. A small grocer around the corner is nice and laundry is not to far away.

Beautiful apartment

Despite having probably the worst weather in months and Hastings flooding, we had a lovely time. Apartment is a quirky period place with an enormous main bedroom and large living room. Owners were lovely and kept the property lovely and warm, really needed in the awful rain and wind. Garden is beautiful, even in the rain. There are stairs down to the apartment, just a note in case you have mobility issues. Thankyou very much to Claire and Andrew for a relaxing long weekend.

Great hosts, great location

A perfect stay in Hastings

My husband and I had a perfect stay in the apartment of Claire and Andrew. Lots of room, a beautiful garden and lovely hosts. They made us feel very welcome in every way. Thanks! We love walking and enjoyed the nature reserve, the coastline, Hastings old town and buslines within walking distance from the house.

Eine schöne Unterkunft

Vielen Dank für die herzliche Begrüßung. Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Garten ist traumhaft. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral, sodass die Stadt sowie der Hafen gut zu erreichen sind. Wir konnten direkt vor dem Haus parken. Die Wohnung ist sauber und hat alles, was man benötigt.

Great location in hastings

A nice English stay over on our stop in Hastings. The location is beautifull, and a 10-15 minute walk brings to to the old hasting city center, from which you can reach all the attractions. Housing was clean and sufficient for the stay.
