Located on a quiet, secluded street that backs up to the natural beauty of the dunes and the peace and tranquility of the lifeguard-protected beach, this spectacular house is only 5 minutes away from the action and excitement of Ocean Club, HardRock & Borgata in Atlantic City! It's the best of both worlds. In addition, the property is located only a short two block walk to a park with tennis, shuffleboard, roller hockey, basketball, miniature golf and a skateboard park.

So relax on the beach or enjoy some family friendly sports, all within a short walking distance of the house. Then enjoy the world-class Atlantic City nightlife only minutes away offering spectacular casinos, fabulous entertainment and sensational restaurants.

This 3-story home is designed with decks on every level providing stunning ocean and AC skyline views. There are bedrooms on the second and third floors while the 1st floor open floor plan is perfect for gathering, relaxing and dining. The layout is ideal for large families or for two families vacationing together.

The third floor offers a huge master suite with King bed and sitting area and 8' oversize Anderson slider doors. It has a vaulted ceiling with dual skylights and a private deck with lounge chairs and wonderful ocean views. The master suite offers a spacious closet and a tiled master bath with jacuzzi tub, double sinks and tiled shower.

The 2nd floor oceanside bedroom is decorated in a contemporary beach style and has a queen bed. It features a private deck with two Adirondack chairs and 2 person swing. It has it's own private bath with tub/shower combination. The 3rd bedroom faces the west toward the bay and includes 2 twin beds, and a private bath with shower/tub combination.

The 1st floor greets you with a huge 22' X 16' living room with gas fireplace. Relax in comfort on the new sleeper sofa with matching love seat while you enjoy your favorite movie on the 40' Sony LCD TV with DVD player. One vanity half bathroom is located off the living room. The 1st floor also features an 8' oversize Anderson sliding doors opening onto a large covered deck off the living room which is perfect for outdoor dining. Follow the light oak hardwood floors which are throughout the living room into the state of the art gourmet kitchen featuring top of the line stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and maple cabinets. The kitchen is fully stocked with premium range/oven, cookware and dishware as well as a blender, toaster and dual basin stainless sink. The dining room features a wine fridge and a large dining table with comfortable seating for 6-8. The laundry room with washer and dryer is also on the 1st floor.

Great stay

Just returned from a week's stay at this safe and serene beach house overlooking the lush green dunes. The listing description was spot on and we found the layout of the house ideal for our family of four (1 yr old and 3 year old). We had enough space to invite 4 others for a few nights too - the house is comfortable for 6-8 people easily. The kitchen, dining, and living room was spacious and well equipped. Wifi and TVs were great. We loved the balconies, especially off the bedrooms overlooking the lush dunes. Very quiet neighborhood with dead end streets and great access to the beach just an 8 minute trek. We are already looking at dates to book again! Ken the host is very responsive.

We enjoyed our stay. House was very clean and it was a very short walk to beach. Wish we had better views from our balcony since we were oceanfront but it was very relaxing and it did not take away from our enjoyment.

Quite, clean, breezy beach house

Ken the host is amazing, super responsive and helpful. The house was clean, and stocked with all the kitchen utensils, pots and pans, plates and cups you need to cook or grill if you want to eat at the house while you stay there. Every room had a balcony with seating to enjoy the ocean breeze. There was easy access to get to the path to walk down to the beach from the back of the house which also had beach chairs umbrella and a wagon to help with taking stuff to the beach to enjoy. We ate out at a few places but I would highly suggest McHughs pizza for their Sicilian pizza and hogies (subs) and Brigantine Bistro for breakfast. The house is in the perfect location a walk away from the beach and a short drive to Atlantic City boardwalk. Overall we had a great trip and will definitely look forward to coming back.

A Week at the Beach

First the good: The location is perfect. Granted it was a bit of a walk through the dunes to the beach but what a beach. Big and beautiful with lovely sand and nice waves and lifeguards. No bugs and no crowds. The house was very nice with much of it newly renovated. There were beach chairs and furniture on all 3 decks. You can see the ocean from the third floor and Atlantic City all lit up at night. A grocery store is a short distance and a cool playground also not far away. No lack of places to eat. Now not so good: the sliding doors and windows were hard to open with some windows not able to be opened at all. It was too bad because you want that sea breeze through the house. So we needed to use the A/C more than we would have liked. Cooking pots and pans in the kitchen could use some replacing as well as a number of light bulbs that had burned out. Linens were not supplied which necessitated us paying for a linen service because we just couldn't fit everything in our car. The linen service was great actually (sheetstothewind.net) but something to keep in mind. They do allow pets which worked out well for us. We would consider renting again.

Brigantine Birthday

We celebrated a 70th birthday in Brigantine and found it to be a wonderful weekend! The house was conveniently located right off the beach and had great views of the ocean from the upper level decks. Plenty of room for 6 adults and a puppy! The house could use a little refreshing, but overall a very nice spot. The owner is exceptional to work with!

Perfect shore house for a large group and next to beach

This is the perfect shore house for a large group couples and family members. Three large bedrooms all with private balconies and their own bathroom, plus a powder room on the first floor means that there is no waiting to use the shower after a long day at the beach. While technically next to the beach, there is a large dune between the house and the beach, but it really doesn't detract from the prime location. I hope to return again because this really is the perfect getaway to one of most underrated shore towns in NJ.

Great location for a family week at the beach

Location is great. You can get to the beach access easily from the front of the adjacent house. It's a long dune walk but anyone who knows Brigantine knows that end tends to be but also means larger beaches to spread out or play sports, and no green heads. A few blocks walk from many things: ice cream, restaurant, pharmacy, hardware store, tennis, basketball. My kids loved the jacuzzi tub. Quiet. Kitchen had everything we needed. TVs and wifi all good. Great for dogs that like to escape as there's only one door out as decks are accessible from house only.

Quiet Getaway on Brigantine

As others have mentioned, this property is in a quiet location on Brigantine. It is "oceanfront" but it is a little walk to the beach through a path and then the beach itself is wide. It does make it feel not crowded. The first and second floor decks although oceanfront, do not really have a clear view due to the dunes and distance. The third floor balcony has a beautiful view and you can see the AC skyline too. The house was clean and the owners met us to welcome us. In the living room the sofas, as mentioned by another reviewer are pretty worn and are not too comfortable. The dining area and kitchen were nice. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was great for a family. We brought our own linens however the master bedroom was not a queen bed as listed but a king.

Only Technically on the Beach

While there is no house in front of this and the ocean is visible from third floor balcony, the dunes and high vegetation obstruct the beach and ocean view. The walk to the ocean is long and challenging. The beach as a result is not crowded, a good point. The house was roomy and comfortable for our 5 people. The owner needs to include recommendations and directions for the area and house. The handyman next door was a plus.

Great rental for groups - especially with kids. Very comfortable accommodations and loved being so close to the beach that people and teens could come and go as they please. Great beach - not crowded even on a holiday weekend which is important to us. Re: the house - beautiful, sunny and spacious. Some repairs needed but overall, not a fussy owner or rental, so we felt very at home. Would rent there again.

Comfy Oceanfront Gem

This home is very comfortable and a great value. Ken is super responsive and helpful. My husband and I, along with my parents and two teen nieces, had a tranquil and relaxing stay in late September. Loved the ocean views from the decks and sound of the ocean. There was plenty of room for six of us. Fireplaces made the chilly mornings cozy. Wifi was blazing fast (nieces were doing online classes all day). We suggest bringing mattress pads and bath mats in addition to sheets, towels and dish towels. 3rd floor master suite is lovely, just be aware it is open concept so unlike the second floor sleeping areas, it has no door. Ocean Front Brigantine

Wonderful ocean front home in Brigantine NJ. We rented this home for 10 days over Labor Day weekend. Home is as advertised with a quiet location right on the dunes. Stunning views from the decks . Owners were helpful and responsive. We would definitely rent again!

We first discovered Brigantine in 1997 by accident, and quickly realized it was 'the best kept secret on the Jersey Shore'. The prices were reasonable, and the small town 'Mayberry' feel was a very big draw for a family from the congested Northern NJ suburbs. We initially purchased a small condo on the northern portion of the island, but soon realized that the Greenheads (horse flys) made visits to the beach very uncomfortable. We sold and relocated to the southern end of Brigantine where the Greenhead (Flies) swarms did not exist.

Why they chose this property

Having first owned the condo, we realized that privacy was at a premium, plus all the open space was common area for the entire homeowners association, and restricted. My wife and I both felt it important that we had space of our own so the kids could play and the location on a dead end street made it ideal for our young children who wanted to ride bikes and play ball. However, the awesome ocean views was the deciding factor in our decision.

What makes this property unique

Besides the magnificent ocean views, the house is a contemporary design and what you would expect for a Shore home. Hardwood laminate floors in the living room, granite & stainless kitchen, and tastefully decorated bedrooms will make any family feel comfortable during their stay. Large unobstructed decks facing the ocean are ideal for mentally decompressing and slowing down. Peace and tranquility abound with only dunes between you and the Atlantic Ocean.
