Esta PROPIEDAD DE CANAL CON ENCANTO con CITY GARDEN y SUNNY ROOF TERRACE se encuentra en la majestuosa Nieuwe Gracht, a pocos minutos a pie de la estación central y a la vuelta de la esquina de tiendas, bares, restaurantes y museos. Se puede llegar a Amsterdam y Zandvoort directamente en tren en poco tiempo. La estación de autobuses se encuentra al lado de la estación central. Perfect stay

We absolutely loved our stay in Haarlem. The home was a great location and had everything we needed to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The host Emilie was so helpful and friendly. We would book here again in a heartbeat.

Quiet comfortable family home in Haarlem

We were so comfortable in this beautiful, modern home in Haarlem. The location is perfect. Our Dutch friends found a place to park just outside the door to join us in a card game or take us for a trip to nearby towns. They picked us up in their boat on the canal a few feet from our front door. The train station is a short walk. We had coffee shops with wonderful pastries less than a minute walk away. We will be back!

Perfect Location and Perfect Host

The house is located on a quiet street along a canal and only 10 minutes from the train station and around the corner from the shopping area. Everything in central Haarlem is within walking distance. Haarlem is like a little Amsterdam without all of the tourists. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need to be comfortable. The first floor garden and third floor terrace were so attractive although our weather and commitments let us enjoy them little. Our host was so delightful and helpful with good advice on restaurants and concern for our comfort. You could not ask for a better place to stay.

Haarlem vacation

The house was great. Unfortunately, due to the rain, we didn't get to enjoy the garden or the rooftop terrace. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped, no need to go out for dinner, but there were lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Haarlem is a great city to walk around outside or visit plenty of good museums.

Wonderful Stay in Haarlem

5 stars are not high enough for this apartment. We have used VRBO throughout our European trips and trips in the USA and this is the best apartment we have ever stayed at. Gracious, responsive and attention to detail host. Fantastic location. 10 min. walk to train station and city center. Close to everything including market, coffee shops and a very good restaurant diagonally across the canal from the apartment.

Beautiful Home in a Perfect Location

The home is beautiful, clean, comfortable and quiet and was perfect for our family's visit to Haarlem (all adults). The train station was conveniently located 10 minutes walk away, all of the sights, shopping and restaurants are all an easy walk away. There were great places to sit and enjoy conversations either indoor or outdoor when we weren't out and about. The host was extremely helpful and informative, we all slept very well in the comfortable beds and enjoyed biking to the dunes and beach and taking the easy trip into Amsterdam to see the sights. We hope to stay again in the future!

Perfect home base to explore Amsterdam

We couldn’t have loved Emilie’s home more! Very thoughtfully designed, relaxing outdoor spaces, beautiful spot on the canal, conveniently walkable to great shops and restaurants, and easy walk to the train to get to the city. We enjoyed coming back to this quiet retreat after busy days exploring, and it was very close by train to the city centre. So glad we got to see Haarlem. Emilie was a fantastic host, providing helpful information, recommending and booking restaurants for us, and greeting us on arrival for a tour of her home. Would not hesitate to recommend her property!

Fabulous!

We absolutely loved everything about Emilie’s home! It’s gorgeous! The home was impeccably decorated and perfectly clean. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The location was amazing! The train station is only a 5 minute walk away. The grocery store, shops and restaurants are just around the corner. It has beautiful views of the canal it is situated on. Emilie and her husband were lovely and welcoming. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much, Emilie!

I cannot overstate how wonderful our stay here was. The home is IMMACULATE and so beautifully designed — modern mixed with historic details. As the Dutch say: Gezellig!!!!! The owner, Emilie, was gracious and welcoming and made every effort to accommodate us - our overnight flight arrived early in the morning and we welcomed upon arrival. The house sits on a canal in the center of Haarlem — you could not find a better location. The kitchen was fully equipped - the courtyard gorgeous with night lighting. Ambient lighting everywhere. This is not a "designed as a rental property", but a true HOME. We were delighted. I travel extensively and have lived all over the world; this is the best VRBO experience I have had. You can walk to all of the museums, the market square/churches are accessed in minutes, wonderful coffee shop just around the corner (Ax?), prepared foods and charcuterie from the Butcher's Daughter (Broekhof) next to that. There is an Albert Heijn grocery just near that. There is a Nespresso machine in the house, and a Nespresso shop very nearby. Everything you could want/need. Emilie also left us maps/brochures and local recommendations. We travel to the Netherlands regularly, typically staying in Amsterdam at the Pulitzer. This was our first — but not our last — time staying in Haarlem. Truly a mini Amsterdam — easier to get around, beautiful, lots of culture, wonderful. The train/bus station is a 5 min walk from the house. Lucky us!

Great area!

Emilie's place was situated perfect to the charming town of Harlem and the bustle of Amsterdam. I would stay here in a second if we go back. Emilie was incredible helpful with hotspots and even helped with some bookings! Absolutley lovely all around!

THE BEST place to stay in Haarlem

I truly cannot say enough positive things about our stay at Emilie’s place. The location is perfect. A 4 minute walk to the train station, you’re directly on a beautiful canal, the supermarket is directly around the corner and the area with the bars and shops a 5 minute walk. The home was exactly like the pictures, plenty of room for the 6 of us, immaculately clean, lovely decorations and we thoroughly enjoyed the courtyard. Emilie was easy to communicate with, she gave us a tour of the home and recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. She was also kind enough to accommodate us checking in early as our plane landed at 8am. As a side note while we were there we only visited Amsterdam for one day as we were so enjoying our time in Haarlem. It’s a beautiful city. You will not be disappointed staying here.

Charmante Stadtvilla an der Gracht

Emilies Haus ist traumhaft zentral und trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Alles ist neu und stilvoll renoviert. Der Innenhof ist windgeschützt und romantisch. Oben gibt es noch eine kleine sonnige Dachterrasse. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Haarlem.
