Could have been amazing

First impressions were very good, perfect location in the centre of Windermere and an airy apartment. Unfortunately we soon discovered that the maintenance on this property wasn't up to standard. The dishwasher didn't work, the drinks fridge was faulty, the ensuite shower could only deliver boiling hot or freezing cold water, which was very dangerous indeed.. The sink in the ensuite wasn't fixed securely and eventually water started to leak out onto the floor. Other noticeable maintenance issues of less importance but we felt should be mentioned are, a damaged TV and broken IPad, hooks not fixed to the wall in one of the bedrooms. This apartment is not cheap and we would have expected a better maintenance standard for this charge.

We provide 24/7 concierge and support with all our bookings and are extremely disappointed that you hadn't brought any of these issues to our attention until after your departure and leaving a public review. We pride ourselves on our customer service and are saddened that we did not have the opportunity to resolve the issues whilst staying with us so that it didn't have any further issues during your stay, As soon as this was brought to our attention our maintenance team including electricians were sent to the property to check everything and could not find any faults with either the shower, the drinks fridge or the dishwasher which were fully tested. We have resolved the hook issue which the cleaner clearly didn't pick up prior to your arrival and the sink in the ensuite was resolved after your changeover when the cleaner brought this to our attention. We have hosted many guests at this property and this is the first time these issues have been mentioned, its a shame as we feel you could of enjoyed your stay much better had you communicated with us.
