Cabin was very comfortable, cute and more spacious than anticipated. Our boys enjoyed the pool and football pitch on site, as well as the jacuzzi tub. Cabin positioned well on wooded hill, and secluded enough to feel away from it all. No direct view of lake but plenty of beaches nearby.

Fabulous cabin, as described. Check in was super easy, owner was super quick to replying to our questions. Brilliant overall location between Ambleside and Windermere. The cabin is located at the top of the hill in the park, after looking at most other cabin locations I think it's possibly the best. Trees on 3 sides with super large private decking. Cabin can sleep 6 however, the bunk room is very small indeed. No issues with the kitchen, had all the equipment necessary. The one drawback is the WiFi/internet which is supplied by the campsite and out of the control of the owner. It’s just about useable in the morning for social media etc. but it’s poor at best especially after 6pm when most people will probably be using it. We did try streaming a movie but quickly gave up. Overall we had a wonderful stay, it’s a great base to explore this area of the lakes.

Lovely cosy lodge in ideal location.

We had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous lodge. Everything we needed & in a stunning location. Few minutes drive to both Windemere & Ambleside which is just perfect. Owner was lovely and very easy to deal with, we will definitely stay again thank you.

Easter in the Lakes

We spent 4 nights with family and had a great time. Great location for exploring Windermere and doing some walking. Easy check in process and cabin as described. It had everything we needed and was nice and warm.

Few days in the lakes

Lovely stay with my mum in Scafell lodge. Loved the peace and quiet, and watching the birds. The site is lovely, as is the lodge. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

We had a great weekend to celebrate my partners birthday with the kids, julie was easy to cumunicate with and went above and beyond to decorate the place for our arrival with flowers n banners, the kids looved it and so did we, so clean and tidy its made great pics for our memories, thank u so much for everything we all didnt wanna leave xx

Mid Week Break

Great location

The location is beautiful and very peaceful. There were some issues with the boiler and jacuzzi bath which were not ideal, but the owner Julie was prompt to help and rectify these issues so it didn’t spoil our stay. Lodge was clean and tidy and it was nice that it was detached. We would definitely stay here again.
