A wonderful break in a wonderful location

There was something for everyone in our party of five from the youngest ( 5 and 8-year-old girls) to the oldest (76-year-old grandma). Even the dog had a great time. We can't wait to come again.

A great stay in Torcross

We had a great stay in Torcross, the property was spotlessly clean and really well equipped, beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water, it was clear that the owner took pride in it from the information and instructions provided. The welcome hamper was beautiful- bread and milk would be a helpful addition given the distance to the nearest shop though. I was worried we might hear noise from other apartments but had no problem at all.

Fabulous property

Lovely stay, the property was clean, comfortable and there was everything there that you needed. Beautiful bathroom and en-suite. And a fab welcome pack which was much appreciated. Would recommend, we will definitely be back. Perfect location and we really enjoyed watching the view of the sea from the window.

Every reason to stay At the Beach

Excellent accommodation. Perfectly clean. Just special listening to the sound of the sea. Has all that you'd need for a comfortable holiday stay. Generous welcome basket much appreciated. Very good welcome folder with detailed instructions and lots of walking information. Parking also not a problem. Easy base from which to explore the area although in the immediate vicinity there aren't many amenities. Was also very quiet although we did stay in March.

A lovely well equipped apartment in a nice quiet location, in a pretty area. Good local transport connections. Lot of nearby interest. Well worth the effort to visit.

Very good equiped appartment

The appartment is very stylish and has everything you need and lot of things you can do at home. There are many DVDs, books and games. Our son and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Perfect summer holiday

We really enjoyed our stay at 9 At the Beach - which surprisingly really was directly at the beach! The apartment was spacious, modern and very comfortable and included a range of DVDs and books for rainy days (which we fortunately didn't have). The apartment was the perfect choice for the whole family including our dog, who loved it to have an early morning walk directly at the beach. We already look forward to coming back next year...

Dog friendly apartments

The location of 9 at the beach in Torcross was excellent, with great views, local cafes/restaurants and amazing walks. The apartment was roomy and fully kitted out for our stay (including the dog), however the cleanliness of the apartment was below par, there were crumbs, sand and dirt around the table, underneath the sofas and other furniture which had not been moved by the cleaners, we left it cleaner upon leaving than when we arrived. The kitchen area was well stocked and all appliances were clean and worked well, the lounge area had ample comfortable sofas and a good sized TV with access to Netflix etc. The bedrooms were slightly on the small size, and the beds (especially the double) were small and uncomfortable, whilst the bathrooms were of a good size and well equipped. There was available parking, which was barrier controlled, however there was no pedestrian access, so the barrier had to be activated via the keypad every time entering or exiting the car park, which was tedious when unloading the gear from the car to the apartment.

Fantastic spot right by the beach

Had a week away to both work and relax. As a result I spent a lot of time in the apartment working. Wifi was really good which made a huge difference. The apartment is really well set up; very comfortable, warm at this time of year, good amount of kit in the kitchen. Had a really nice feel about it. Views not directly over the sea but you can easily see the sea from one living room window and Slapton Ley from the other. Was a small issue at the start with the boiler but I was impressed with how quickly one of the team got back to me to help get it sorted. The location in Torcross is fantastic allowing for easy walking straight form the apartment or Start Point and other places is a short drive away. This is my second visit to Torcross with Luxury Coastal - would highly recommend.

Well equipped. Hob very slow with low heat. Hob filter dripping with grease. Oven not very clean. Bathroom shaving plug did not work. Television signal very poor. Reported during stay but signal spasmodic. Answer was that all apartments were probably the same but would report to maintenance! Comfortable

Best holiday apartment

As a family we have rented various holiday properties over the years, this was the best ever. Fantastic quiet location. Property immaculately clean. Friendly and helpful company.

Best apartment in At the Beach for us

Lovely apartment - so well laid out and planned that although we were 6 adults and a dog we never felt crowded. Fabulous location, really helpful site manager and booking process. But for covid 19 we'd have been in Corfu but this was almost better!
