The apartment itself was brilliant. It was everything as described and was everything we needed. The outside area was large and was very useful. The check in was easy and the instructions to find the apartment were clear and we were met by Mrs Nicoletta, who was punctual and helpful, even with a language barrier. The only downside to the apartment was the use and access to the swimming pool facility. The pool not free to use and is a communal pool open to all public at the same price as people staying in the apartment. We were made to pay around 40-50 Euros the first day of entering to "join" the pool club. Then daily you have to pay to rent sun beds and umbrellas. There is no way of just turning up and swimming comfortably. You are not allowed to put towels on the grass or sit on seats without buying something. The grass areas are all barriered off so you cannot access them. The instructions for the apartment stated the pool was free and you could sit on the grass. Which is not true. We were made by the rude management of the pool to put all our belongings on a very small table with no seats as we were only having a quick swim. The managers of the pool area are rude and you are treated badly if you are not renting beds or spending money in the bar. When you do rent sunbeds you are made to use beds in certain locations, around 0.5 meters away from the strangers next to you, with very little space for young children to sit and play. The pool was manned by a life guard, however the life guard would not allow a lot of activities, inflatables balls, inflatables toys, jumping in the pool or some ball games were all not allowed. With young children this was disappointing for the kids. We would highly recommend the apartment, but be mindful if you are looking for an apartment with the use of a nice swimming pool facility included for free. This is not the case. The pool management were really that bad!. The "breeze bar" under the apartment is very friendly, with super service and great food. This bar is highly recommended.
