Comfortable apartment with good views, for FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN, in the center of Barcelona.
The building has a large shared terrace where you can relax and disconnect after your city tours, with magnificent views of the Ciutadella Park and Barcelona.

The apartment has 4 bedrooms, living room with sofa bed, 2 full bathrooms and a separate kitchen. The apartment has air conditioning in the living room, heating, high speed WIFI internet and TV. Kitchen is equipped with fridge, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, gas hob, oven and microwave. Towels, bed liners and hair dryer are included.

The building has a shared terrace overlooking Ciutadella Park and the city, elevator and washing machines and clothes dryer.

Places of interest: Parc de la Ciutadella, Arc de Triomf, Zoo, Parlament de Catalunya, Born district, Picasso Museum, Santa Maria del Mar Church, Gothic quarter, Barcelona Cathedral, Plaza Real, Las Ramblas, Plaza Catalunya, Passeig de Gracia and the beaches of Barcelona!

Perfect Location

My family and I had the best time here. The location couldn’t be better. Right across from park ciutadella and easy walk straight to born. Metro was an easy 8 min away. So helpful at check in giving us locations near by to try. Overall great stay highly recommend this place!

Beautiful Apartment with Great location in Barcelona

We could not be happier with the apartment. Loved the roof-top veranda and the spacious apartment. Everything was well maintained and clean. Our family of 6 (with 4 adult children) loved the accessibility to all of the hotspots throughout town. Would definitely stay again!

Great stay at an amazing place!

We loved our stay at the beautiful appartment! It is perfectly situated in walking distance to many beautiful places and / or public transport. Direct view to the very nice Parc Ciutadella. And the roof terrace is amazing! Only the wifi is unfortunately too weak and unstable. But the host was very responsive and kind. All in all, a great stay. Thank you very much!

Barcelona Trip Visiting Son Studying Abroad

We had a great stay in Barcelona visiting our son who was study there for a semester. The apartment was as advertised and was in a great location to visit the sites of this wonderful city. Carla and Xavi gave great recommendations on restaurants and transportation. Everything was well organized and allowed us to enjoy. If we come back hopefully some day, we would definitely come back to this apartment.

Home away from home

This apartment was amazing! The location is unbeatable. We loved being across from the park and having great restaurants right down stairs. I was worried we wouldn’t be able to find a place to stay for our size group including seniors and kids, but this apartment checked all of the boxes. I would come back here in a heart beat. The hosts were so great at communication and Carla is a wonderful point of contact. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this place and the hosts.

Great trip

Loved our location. Every night we would take drinks and snacks up to the rooftop terrace which was just the best! Communication was great. Never had any problems. Air conditioner was the farthest from the master bedroom so it got a little warm some nights but overall we really enjoyed the apartment!

Love this apartment

3 older couples 65+, we stayed 5 nights. What a great location and apartment. Fabulous grocery around corner, pizza directly below, minutes to Gothic area. The roof deck is worth it. Plus we left money and Xavi found it 3 days later.

Great Stay!

Very convenient location as advertised. We walked to museums, shopping, restaurants, beach, train and metro stations. The front apartment windows overlook the park (vice other apartments facing other apartment buildings), and the rooftop terrace provided great view of mountains, beach, and city. Xavi and Luna were flexible with us on check-in, and also helped us out with a favor on the trip. Carla checked us in quickly and gave us a great rundown on the area as well. Our family of 5 adults enjoyed the trip and would recommend the apartment.

Great spot in Barcelona-perfect for families or couples

We had 5 people total and the apartment provided the perfect amount of space, and we even had one room open. The location was great- close to the metro, walkable to the enjoyable Gothic Quarter and Born, and a quick walk to the beach. The rooftop was so enjoyable after a full day out. The building was old therefore had its quirks but that is to be expected. Carla and her team were very helpful and accesible.

Good location, a bit pricey for property.

Fine place to stay, good location, walkable but long walks to places. Almost impossible to get taxis or Ubers in the area which was frustrating. A few problems with the property including shower spraying to the ceiling, one toilet didn’t work and dryer didn’t work, and the fire alarm battery went off most of the time. Slightly too much communication from hosts, would have preferred to reach out if there were problems during stay.

A great apartment in a great location

Our hosts were amazing, helpful, accessible and informative. The unit was small and simple, but clean and comfortable with everything we could need. Great bathrooms, great beds, awesome little balcony. Very secure and safe. Pretty quiet neighborhood at night. The building is older, and sometimes other residents are noisy when they come in late at night. It is good to be courteous when walking through the shared hallway. The hosts do have fans in the rooms which provides good white noise. I would stay here again for sure!

Barcelona Bonita

The apartment location was perfect -- equi-distance to the beach, Gothic Quarter, Sagrada Familia, La Boqueria and La Rambla. It's also close to the Arc de Triomf/ metro for easy transport to the Bunkers and Park Guëll. We had several unexpected surprises walking between neighborhoods, to include a Friday night street party with live music on two or three blocks. Flora Cafe just outside the front door and on the opposite corner was convenient for morning coffee / breakfast. The apartment itself offers plenty of space, fresh air and is smartly designed. Catching a cab to the airport was also easy because the apartment is located near two hostels. Finally, the owners Luna and Xavi, and Raquel (property manager) were responsive and offered detailed support upon check-in. Thank you all for being part of our wonderful Barca experience!

Family Trip to Barcelona

Great location and so perfectly convenient especially if you want to feel like you live in Barcelona. Communication was excellent with the property managers of the property. Place was clean upon entering with very impressive building and apartment security. There is an elevator. Beds were great. Bathrooms way more than adequate with excellent showers. The rooftop deck is very special and worthy of visit on a daily basis. Views are great and its just a nice place to hang. We are a Family of 6 with 60, 60, 25, 25, 25, 26 adults. We never felt cramped. We walked everywhere everyday and the location could not be better. Restaurants and drinks and history and museums all very close. Most importantly, it is quiet at night because it is not in the tourist sections. The park across the street is really special as was the way my family was treated by Xavi and Carla. Thank you for a great week!

Fantastic location, great apartment, excellent hosts, magical rooftop

Our daughter is studying abroad and is staying in another of Xavi and Luna’s apartments in the building, so we already knew how great the location was! Xavi and Luna are excellent hosts! The check in was seamless and everything was explained so well. Xavi is often in the building working on other apartments and we got to sit and talk with him on the amazing rooftop (where you will see incredible sunsets). He is so nice and knows so much about the city! The apartment was clean with plenty of supplies to get us through our first few days. There’s a market around the corner to stock up on anything you need. Everything is within a 20-30 minute, or shorter walk and if it’s further you’re only a 5 minute walk to the metro. Ciutadella Parc is across the street which is beautiful and makes for a very quiet setting. We could not recommend this or any other apartments in this building more! You will not be disappointed!

Not Recommended, very disappointing

The location of the place was not bad but overall stay was very difficult. Upon entering the property the entire apartment smelt like sewage, the kitchen was very small and unusable. The bedrooms were very dark and dingy, one of the bedrooms felt like a dungeon. The internet did not work properly and would boot us off if more than two devices were being used. There is a lot of noise that comes in from outside, can hear neighbors from upstairs talking and moving their chairs. The owner got very defensive when we explained the internet situation and was yelling at us. We just wanted to leave the place and didn’t feel comfortable giving any feedback. You are better off picking another rental.

Here we are very strict to protect our main target: “Families with children”. It’s a very qui-et building and it’s not the right place for a group of friends like yours who come to make party/noise and disturb. You have not respected our target, not respect the rules of the house, and on top of that you are offended because we have reminded you the rules and asked to stop immediately. And now you are writing a terrible review... like a revenge? We are not agree with everything you have written, in addition, we are in the building and in contact every day to fix anything if neces-sary (impossible to resolve if you tell us some-thing the last day of your stay). It is not fair, but it’s clear that it was not your place, and it was a so bad experience for us too. PLEASE Read always all the rules of the house carefully. In The FAMILY HOST, we are totally focused on a FAMILY TARGET and the respect of the neighbors and all our guests is a priority for us.

Très beau séjour d'une semaine à Barcelone. Emplacement idéal, quartiers centraux et plages accessibles à pied, métro à deux pas à l'Arc de triomphe. Très bon accueil et excellent contact avec les propriétaires ! La possibilité de laisser les bagages plus tôt à l'arrivée et plus tard lors du départ a été très appréciée. À noter que plusieurs machines à laver sont disponibles au niveau de la terrasse partagée. Merci beaucoup à Xavi, Luna et Carla !

Perfect Location & Amazing Hosts!

The hosts are amazing! We got such a lovely welcome after a very long travel day. The tour, instructions, & recommendations on activities & food were outstanding. The location is stunning just across from Parc de Ciutadella & around the corner from the Arc de Triomphe. The grocery store around the corner was very convenient & had everything you could need. We so enjoyed being in a quieter part of town & enjoyed wine on the roof. The kids LOVED the lift/elevator. Everything was clean & lovely. I would stay here again & have recommended it to family as well. Thanks for having us!
