Comfortable apartment recently renovated and in the city center

Two-bedroom and two-bathroom apartment completely renovated since February 2019, located next to the Palau de la Música Catalana auditorium, in a modernist style, with an exceptional location, just a 10-minute walk from Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas, the city's main attractions.



It has air conditioning, a safe, and free Wi-Fi.



With modern finishes, vaulted ceilings, traditional Catalan tiles, parquet floors make this apartment breathe a modern and warm style.



The living room has a comfortable sofa with a dining area equipped with a flat-screen television. The kitchen is integrated into the same living room with a ceramic hob, oven, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle for tea, dishwasher and washing machine.



The main bedroom is equipped with a double bed, while the second bedroom has a single bed. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and WC.



The apartment will be equipped with towels and bed linen.



This apartment does not have private parking; however, you will find a public car park within approximately 200 metres of the apartment.



The photographs shown of this apartment are a selection from various apartments in the same building. The apartments may vary in terms of decoration and layout of spaces, but they all have the same style. Upon arrival, a specific apartment will be assigned.



Our Reception is located at number 1 Passatge Sert, where you must collect your key between 9:00 and 20:00 from Monday to Friday (except holidays from Monday to Friday). If your arrival is on Saturday or Sunday (or a holiday during the week), key collection is at Aribau Street 228. Opening hours are from 09:00 to 20:00. Mobile self check-in from 15:00



The Tourist Tax is not included in the apartment price. It has a cost of £6.88 per adult and night up to a maximum of seven nights.



The apartment does not accept group bookings or stag/hen parties.

Location fantastic

Loved location. Shops, restaurants, lots of sights easy walking distance. Ola staff easy to communicate with. Electronic doors with app could be finicky- make sure everyone has access.

Barcelona Stay

We enjoyed our stay in Barcelona. The property was in a great location, very close to most tourist sites, great restaurants and bars. The only problem we had was our shower evidently had a leak that impacted the property below us. During one day they had to send in a technician to recalk the shower and asked us not to use the shower until the next day. This was an inconvenience, since we had dinner reservations that night and wanted to clean up prior to going to dinner.Otherwise we had no problems with the property.

Perfect location for exploring Barcelona

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO in Barcelona! The location was perfect—close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. The apartment itself was well-equipped and comfortable, providing a great home base for our trip.However, one of the bedrooms had a noticeable smoke smell, which was a bit disappointing. While the rest of the apartment was clean and fresh, the odor in that room lingered throughout our stay. If you’re sensitive to smoke, this might be something to consider.Overall, we still had a great experience and would recommend this place for its excellent location and amenities

Perfect location, clean, and comfortable.

Property was in such a great location with walkable access to sights, shops, and charm of gothic quarter. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were updated, clean and had great water pressure. I did not hear street noise from the bedrooms. Location felt safe even in the later hours. Check in process was somewhat of a hassle but well worth it.

Great flat and great location

Great location in the Gothic quarters, about a 15-20 min walk to the beach, walking distance to a million places to eat, drink. Cute flat inside. Super loud if you have windows open but there is a/c so no biggie once windows are closed.

Everything with the rental and staff was fantastic.

Only disappointment was one of our group was pick pocketed. Two guys came up to her and stole her new phone. Otherwise the rest of the trip was fantastic.

Family with teens in madrid

Traveling with teens can sometimes be a tight fit. Everyone needs their space yet you still want to be together. Ola did just that. Plenty of room where you didn’t feel on top of each other, but close enough to still be connected. The location was perfect from us and allowed us ample opportunity to view all that Madrid has to offer.

Great apartment. Terrible service.

First, great apartment. Really comfortable beds. Could’ve used some bare minimum extras like coffee or maybe even a spare roll of toilet paper. Location was fantastic for us. But the communication was the worst I’ve ever experienced! Tried to communicate for a week before stay on check in process as we were traveling beforehand. Right up until check in had no communication. Aloliving check in system crashed and we couldn’t get in unit (all electronic). Hung up on me several times when called. Then locked us out of unit! Had to literally appear at their offices to get help. Many hours of Day 1 spent just trying to get in unit!!! All electronic is great until it isn't and customer service was nonexistant.

Great location and comfortable apartment

We enjoyed being able to walk everywhere from our apartment. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and well-provisioned. The two issues we had were the difficulty using the digital key and the lingering smell. After some trouble at first, we got used to the digital entry. When we arrived there was a strong smell of sewer gas but fortunately it dissipated after a few days. Still, I recommend the apartment if you would like to stay in a fantastic, walkable neighborhood.

Great place in Barcelona

We had an overall good experience at this property! There were several restaurants in walking distance and a little grocery store right across the street plus a larger grocery store around the corner. The elevator was really helpful since we were on the 4th floor. And the keyless entry was easy to use. We arrived after normal check-in hours so it was nice to have the keyless entry without having to go to another location or pay for a late check-in. The property manager/staff were very helpful in communicating the necessary steps to complete the check-in and deposit electronically before arrival. The apartment itself was as expected from the listing!

Perfect Barcelona vacation

This property is perfect for a Barcelona vacation. The location is excellent, on a small street in the Gothic Quarter with cute shops, easy walk to everything. 5 minutes to La Rambla. The prior reviews are accurate when mentioning the check-in app. You need to register each guest with their name/passport info/selfie so it’s best to do that before but it was VERY easy to follow. And, the walls are thin and you will hear the stairwell. Otherwise you hear the street so it is rarely quiet in European cities! The management was very responsible. We had an issue with the washing machine, they came in and fixed it while we were exploring and left extra towels. Very well done!

We were very disappointed with our experience. We were traveling with a carbon monoxide detector for a 2 week trip through Europe. When we arrived at the property, the CO detector showed dangerous levels of CO. We used the emergency contact information to report the problem, and the host sent a cleaner (not a technician) who claimed that the CO was due to cleaning agents. He told us he could not address the problem and left. We opened the windows and the CO detector went to 0; we closed the windows and the CO detectors showed dangerous levels again. We contacted VRBO directly who reached out to the host. The host told VRBO that our detector must be malfunctioning. We then asked that the host send a technician with their own CO detector if they truly believed there was no CO in the apartment. We told the host that we did not feel safe and would leave the apartment if they did not send a technician. The host did not respond to our request until over 2 days later and has refused to give us a refund. They informed us on the last day that our stay that they sent a technician and claimed that there was no CO in the apartment. We have had to follow up with VRBO to request a refund. The matter is under review.

Great location. Horrible check in process.

The property was great. Rented through vrbo. From this point things get difficult. You are really booking through a 3rd party leasing company. I kept messaging through Vrbo when trying to pay. There was SO much confusion. The 3rd party takes your payments with a different system. And to check in is a system is different from one they sent me. So we still did not complete booking till we showed up and they said we did not finish with deposit. The ladies at the leasing office were very nice. But everyone checking in had the same confusion as we did. I really expected to book and deal with Vrbo, but that’s not the case. Be prepared for a refundable deposit but with a list of rules and cleaning instructions to get it back.

wonderful location with a few issues

We enjoyed our 4-day stay here, and found the location to be perfect for exploring Barcelona. It is located on a very charming street in a great neighborhood so that was a big plus. The check-in process could have been smoother. We were asked for our arrival time, I shared that, and yet I still had to try to reach out to confirm that we would be able to get into the apartment when we arrived. The digital key was a bit cumbersome, but worked. I had to ask permission for my husband to get a digital key too, in case my phone died - which seemed like a no-brainer. The apartment was nice and suited most of our needs, though the kitchen only had the very basics - it was missing some key things. Also - the apartment should have included basic instructions for the appliances. We had to message many times about how to use the air conditioning, the washing machine, etc. That was a bit frustrating. All in all, we had a nice stay, but there were definitely things that could have been improved.

Great location - comfier chairs needed

4 friends shared for a 5 day trip. We stayed in 3rd floor Music 7 apartment - two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Check in process 48 hours before was complicated - but do-able. Lift and corridors all clean. Doors operated by a smartphone app - we all got that - but also 2 key cards. Location excellent - yes a bit of late night noise but not too bad. One bathroom had a broken shower sadly. We knew before we arrived. Was fixed while we were there. Communication with Reception team via WhatsApp easy. We got a small discount for the shower problem. The living area is small but functional. It really needs two comfy armchairs in addition to the sofa. Nespresso pod coffee machine - only a few pods free but a large Carrefour at the end of the street opposite the Palau theatre so could buy more. Only two loo rolls also - which is a bit stingy. Small supermarket right opposite and a nice small champagne bar very near. Would also recommend Flax and Kale restaurant just up the street. Delicious healthy salad and pizzas. Also Tosca Tapas opposite the theatre for upmarket tapas. We had a great time.

The apartment is very spacious, we stayed for a week on a last floor apartment, beautiful view from the small balcony. We are a family of 4, two parents and 2kids, one bedroom had a double bed the other one has 2 twins, we never felt crowded. It is modern, pleasantly decorated, the bathrooms and the kitchen well equipped. There is enough space in the living room/kitchen for eating and hanging out after a busy day of visiting Barcelona. The beds are comfortable, plenty of towels and extra linen if you need. The air conditioner is central, no noise at all. The house has an echo which also causes to occasionally hear the neighbors but nothing bothersome. The location is perfect, in the proximity of lots of touristic spots but removed from the noisy area of Las Ramblas. There is a small convenience stores right at the entrance, has everything needed for a minimalistic breakfast and there is a cargo or supermarket at the corner of the streets, on block away. The check in was very convenient, we filled in in the online forms and downloaded the app for unlocking the door prior to arrival. At around 3pm the day of our arrival the app became active and it worked perfectly throughout the week. We arrived early morning on a Sunday, we left our luggage at their reception that is on a different location but close by. The communication with the hosts was great via what’s up, very responsive. We stayed in many apartments in different places in Europe, this one was one of our favorites,

Good location but poor amenities overall

Our family of three stayed in Ola living music 3. Location wise it’s a great place and very convenient. However apartment itself is rather small than what we expected seeing from online. Street and house noise from upstairs is as terrible as you can expect. Also there weren’t enough household essentials in the apartment considering we had to stay for one week. A few toilet papers, small size shampoo and body wash, little bottle of dishwashing detergent…there weren’t even enough toilet papers so we had to request extra. I have been to many apartments using VRBO and never had to ask for essential things like this time. It was a week of stay and this was not a cheap apartment. I feel this apartment overly charged us compared to the poor quality they’ve provided to us. Also the female desk staff who was working at the nearest Ola living office by the Ola living Music 3 was rude. When I tried to enter the office by the wrong side of the door, she laughed as if she was making fun of me and was rude when assisting me with my questions. Also this company wanted to conduct air conditioning check during our stay. I understand things happen but never have I experienced inconvenience like this with other apartments. I certainly feel that our first trip to Barcelona would have turned out so much better if we had chosen another place to stay. Well I’ve learned from my mistake. If you don’t mind paying for expensive apartment who provides poor service and lack of essentials then you can choose Ola living. Otherwise absolutely no. Save yourself a headache and go with another company and apartment

Family time in Barcelona

We love the apartment, and having a terrace was great. The location was great, too, right in Gothic District. I appreciated the extra towels and bedding. Check-in was confusing, I received an email to pick up keys, but when I arrived at the office, I was told I could use the digital key. I was under the impression the digital key only worked for the front door. Last, the walls are thin, you can hear everything, but it is great for families.

Fun location in Barcelona

Our stay was great - central location and cute apartment. The photos of the apartment are a little deceptive make it look bigger than it is but it was still very clean and nice. The apartment is situated on a walking street - not too busy although there’s lots of construction going on when we were there . The Ola staff are great.

Comfortable centrally located apartment

The apartment was very comfortable with everything you needed for a lovely stay . The apartment was steps from the Palau Music hall. We saw a very enjoyable guitar concert at the music hall and got to see the beautiful building at the same time . The subway stops were conveniently close . There were great restaurants steps from the apartment. There was a Carre forre grocery store was very close also. The washer dryer was very appreciated , as well as the air conditioner , as it was a little hot when we were there .
