Very walkable to many fun things to do - it was a great home base for our active family of four. However, the property needs a little TLC, the elevator only worked half the time (thank goodness we were only on the third floor) and some basic maintenance in the apartment itself could really help… it was good place for our needs. I would still consider staying here again, for sure.

Excellent place to stay. It’s right on the edge of Waikiki and Diamondhead and you can walk to so many places. Definitely don’t pay to park as parking along the street is plentiful and free after 6 PM. The lanai and grassy area along the water outback are awesome. I would recommend that they add some more light in the room as it is a bit dark. Other than that, everything was delightful.

The amenities were adequate. Our stay was quiet. We were out of the room more than we were in it. Easy to get to and just what we needed.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was comfortable and quiet. Location is amazing and we enjoyed the garden area to view the sunset each evening.

Wonderful property.

Our third trip to Oahu and this was the best stay yet. Close enough to the beaches but just far enough away from the hustle. Highly recommend this property.

Great location!

Overall the condo had everything we needed. The location is great! Right off the water and off the busy strip but still nearby to everything. There’s also a great park across the street for daily walks and parking which we were able to easily access each day.

Great beach condo

We loved the location quite and a great patio. The only issue we had was the bed but they fixed it after we called.

Location was amazing - three of us spent 9 days here - the building itself is quite old the condo could use a little more utensils - frying pan and spatula would be awesome - but it was a quite place we quickly grew to enjoy coming back to every day - snorkeling in your backyard and hunting for sea glass - great stay!!

Great stay

Apartment was quiet, nice and clean. Perfect location close to beach access and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Aquarium and zoo are walking distance. Large park across the street. The efficiency apartment has everything we needed for a couple days on the beach.

Upon arriving, I waited at the desk for over 29 minutes for someone to assist me. I had reserved a parking space and upon checking in was told there were none. I was given instructions on where in the area I could park my vehicle. Note, I am a handicapped person and picked this based on parking. Upon check-in, I was informed that the only elevator was broken and should be repaired in the next four hours. Again, I’m handicapped. I called and spoke to the host about these obstacles and was told that they would find me something equitable or give a full refund. No comparable accommodations could be found in their inventory do I was offered a full refund. I was told to email them with the request. After emailing for the request as instructed, the owner disputed the refund and wanted me to fill out forms (nowhere to be found). If you have no problems with any if these issues, this might be a good place to try.

Excellent bathroom and kitchen. Bed frame creaks loudly if anyone shifts in their sleep. Annoying and surprising since the rest of the place is pretty nice. Loud squeaky bed frame is the reason I could not give the place a 5

This is the 2nd time I've stayed in this unit. It's the perfect spot for me when visiting Honolulu. Location is the great, unit is comfortable and clean, everything just right!

Happy at Diamond Head

Perfect location with Diamond Head, ocean and Kapiolani Park. Lovely walking location along the beach to Waikiki, yet away from crowds. Quiet, peaceful, romantic. Friendly building. Condo was clean, well appointed with charming retro Hawaiiana decor. The owners were communicative and accommodating.
