This stunning two-bedroom luxury holiday home looks directly out onto the historic city walls in central York. Nestled in a secluded courtyard, you wouldn't believe you are actually right in the heart of the city.The property boasts a lovely, quiet outside area and is the perfect space for relaxing after visiting all there is to see and do in York. Other amenities include free private parking out-front for two cars and WiFi throughout.Inside, everything exudes ultimate luxury and quality from the top of the range handcrafted natural fibre mattresses with breathable layers of wool and luxury cashmere to the contemporary bathrooms.One of the bedrooms can be set up as two singles (this must be requested on booking).All the delights of the city are just a leisurely stroll away including Bettys Café Tea Rooms, the Jorvik Centre and York Minster.

Perfect Stay in a Perfect Location

We recently stayed here for three nights, and this was our second visit to this lovely accommodation. There were four of us, and we were all very comfortable — the bedrooms are spacious, the bathroom is excellent, and the kitchen has everything you need. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the city centre, with convenient parking right out front. The house is beautifully decorated, and we especially loved the festive touches during our stay. Another fantastic experience — we’d happily return again! ✨

A Five Star Stay

We spent 3 nights here and it was truly perfect. The location is a very short walk to the old city. We parked the car for the whole time - parking was great! The house felt brand new - super clean, modern, well-appointed and very comfortable. The owners were lovely too. Honestly, stay here! You won’t be disappointed.

What a superb property! It was within walking distance to EVERYTHING! There were multiple grocery stores nearby, as well as cafes, restaurants and boutiques. Having the convenience of both a washer & dryer really helped a lot! In addition, this place truly felt like our “Home Away From Home”! Would highly recommend staying here when in York, England!

Location, location, location!

Fully stocked, warm and clean. The location of the property and ease of parking was probably the best of anywhere else we’ve stayed in York. The area was very quiet and the courtyard aspect of the property meant the garden stayed warm and still. Really enjoyed our stay here,

Everything was wonderful. The house was easy to find , very well furnished and could not have been cleaner. We were able to walk to all the attractions, restaurants, etc. that we wanted to visit and with car parking was ideal. Thanks for a lovely break.

Perfect Location - excellent property

High specification, spotless and well appointed property. Easy walking distance from the centre of York. Enjoyed a breakfast sat in the garden. Booked as group of 4 and plenty big enough. Definitely recommend for proximity to centre but also being in a nice peaceful area too.

Brilliant - Perfect Location and Great Accommodation

A most enjoyable week with friends. The house was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed. Its in a perfect location a few minutes walk from York Minster and the centre of York, yet peaceful and quiet. Having not one, but two parking spaces was an extra benefit. We would definitely recommend staying in this property. Thank you

Fantastic location

This property is extremely well located for all the different attractions in York, and only a short walk from a wide selection of places to eat.The house was very clean on our arrival and comfortably furnished. The bathrooms were spacious and like the rest of the property well equipped. If I had one very minor addition to suggest it would be a nonslip mat for the shower over the bath as it was slippery under foot. I would whole heartedly recommend this house for getting the best from a stay in York.

Amazing property

We have just returned from a week at Pear Tree House. We couldn’t fault a single thing . The property is situated in an ideal location …just minutes walk from the centre of York. Despite being so central, it was very peaceful and quiet and lovely to return to after a busy day sightseeing. The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable and very well equipped . I would have no hesitation in recommending this property and we would definitely return to it were we to visit York again. Possibly the cleanest and nicest self catering property we have ever stayed in.

Thoroughly recommend this property

We would thoroughly recommend this property. Just a few minutes walk from the Centre of York in a lovely quiet location. The house is extremely well equipped and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Fabulous linens and comfy beds. Great showers. We really appreciated the supply of teabags, milk and welcome biscuits and really cannot think of anyway this property could be improved. The owners were very kind and let us park our car on the drive when we arrived at lunchtime and ahead of the check-in time of 4pm. Their flexibility was really appreciated. Good service to from Stays York. We would not hesitate to book this property again.

Excellent in every way

My husband and I travel a ton. We are used to excellent accommodations that are clean and in great locations. This lodgings checked all of our boxes. We usually have a lot of criticism. In this case we have none. The host even left extra elec converters and needle and thread.
