Le chalet est situé dans le parc national des Yorkshire Dales, au cœur des célèbres Three Peaks Pen-y-Ghent, Ingleborough et Whernside, offrant certains des plus beaux pays de randonnée du Royaume-Uni. Installez-vous à la gare de Carlisle qui passe près des cottages, la gare étant à seulement 10 minutes à pied. La jolie ville de Settle, à 10 km et la pittoresque ville de Dales à Hawes, à 24 km. La région est également bien connue pour son Pot Holing, Alum Pot étant à 3 miles. White Scar Caves et Ingleton Waterfalls étant un voyage en voiture. Le village possède deux maisons puibliques, La Couronne et Le Lion d'or, toutes deux accessibles à pied. La belle rue L'église d'Oswald est à l'extrémité sud du village et vaut bien une visite

Its a lovely traditional country cottage with the backdrop of Penyghent that had all the essentials you need as if you were at home and right next door to a homely tearoom. Heather was a superb host to us. Ideal for you walkers and hikers of the Yorkshire 3 peaks. Would definitely use again!!

A cosy ,large, well equipped cottage in a fabulous location , to explore the Yorkshire Dales. There was everything you would need in the cottage . The beds were really comfortable and the views are amazing. There are great pubs to eat in a short distance away .

This property was great value for money and was very comfortable for the four of us. Its two showers came in very handy, the kitchen was well equipped and the lounge was really comfortable. We did struggle with the TV so had to resort to talking to each other!!We used this as a base for doing the three peaks over three days so was ideally located. The view of Pen y Ghent through the dining room window was lovely. It was around 10 minutes walk to the Crown which had good beer and good food.

Walking the 3 Peaks

Perfect location and gorgeous views.Ideal for the 3 peaks and any other walks in the area. Also enjoyed coffee and scones in the cafe.

We will be back......

Loved our 2 days at this charming cottage, the location is superb and the views spectacular. We have stayed at numerous properties in the Dales and this one is in the top two.

Perfect Location

Fantastic location with great views from every window. Morning coffee on the patio with views over sheep in the fields, stone walls and a nearby stream, topped off by the mountains, was a great way to get the day started.

We had a power cut one evening and the lady who runs the cottage very kindly brought round lights and hot soup - with that and beer, bread, cheese and red wine we had a great evening:-)

A delightful charm, wish we had longer!

Booked for the three peaks challenge and were absolutely delighted. The property is in the best location for one of the startinf ajsbfonishing points of the three peaks challenge. I would happliy return and spend longer withiut the hike as the property is absolutely chaeming. Sad to leave!

My friend and I booked in as we wanted to do the 3 Peaks. Fantastic cottage, beautifully clean and well equipped, very comfy beds. Lovely shortbread to greet us and milk in the fridge. Owner very helpful and welcoming - 3 Peaks a success - hopefully we’ll be back. Thank you

Brilliant accommodation in prime location

Everything about this property is wonderful. Charming, warm, inviting are a few words to describe how much we enjoyed our stay. Fully stocked kitchen, rustic and full of character. The garden is stunning and the indoor plants so conducive for happiness. Great location and would stay there again.

Lovely farmhouse property.

View of Pen-y-Ghent from the bedroom window is stunning to see. The owners are next door but only around if you need them. Thanks for the lovely stay, the biscuits and tea, coffee were a thoughtful touch too. Will stay again. Thanks again

Characterful cottage in beautiful surroundings

Property is on the edge of the village with a great view of Peny-gent. The cottage was clean, warm, spacious and ideal for two couples. The decoration was dated but suited the style of the cottage. The hosts were friendly and available but not obtrusive. We really enjoyed our stay and the cottage enhanced our holiday.

We had a fabulous weekend in the beautiful quirky cottage, it was like a tardiss, very comfortable, the beds where very comfy, everything you needed and more in the kitchen, we will definitely be booking again. Owners where absolutely lovely and the tea room right next door was ideal.
