So nice

Such a nice experience with a great property and superb location. Padstow centre just a 5 min walk along the sea side and lots to do when you get there. We were concerned as we have a 7 year old and a 14 year old. We couldn't have been happier as there was plenty to keep both busy and entertained. Very well kept property with everything you could want/need, all included. Great coms between myself and the property manager/owner with instant replies to any questions we had. Would 100% recommend sleepy hollow to anyone. We've already started looking at when we can return. Thanks again for such a wonderful experience.

Wonderful property in a great location with wonderful views

Wonderful property, in a great location with a wonderful view and a very helpful host. Property is ideally suited for a couple, or a family of 8. We are already considering booking again for next year and bringing our grandchildren. Many thanks to the Leafy Hollow team.

The house and garden are great and we loved the view, the weather was mostly good and we enjoyed going out to see Padstow. But the seagull nest on the roof was a problem as every time we went out side the gulls dived at us and made a mess on the patio.

Another wonderful stay at Leafy Hollow

This was our 3rd time staying at Leafy Hollow and it never disappoints.The house is well equipped, very comfortable and it’s located in the most amazing location with stunning views.On our arrival there was a welcome hamper which had some lovely treats in. I’d recommend anyone who is looking to stay in Padstow to book this property, you will not be disappointed.

Perfect place for our family to stay over May Day. Plenty of room for everyone to relax after a long day of walks and beaches.close enough to town, but far enough away to avoid the May Day chaos when we were tired. Lovely gardens!

A perfect stay

Wonderful Christmas week, superb location and views over the Estuary. Property was very well equipped with everything we needed and more. Contact with owners was excellent with all our queries answered. We didnt want to leave!

Excellent property / location

This property is in an excellent location within a few minutes walk to the harbour / town centre & the addition of private parking a big bonus The property itself was immaculate and equipped with everything you could possibly need , we couldn’t think of anything it didn’t have - the icing on the cake are the views …spectacular at sunrise- thank you Leafy Hollow team , we would definitely recommend & book again.

Stunning in every way

The property has the most amazing view of the camel estuary. We spent many mornings on the decking watching the activity on the water. The bungalow is very well equipped and beautifully presented. It is a short walk to the harbour where there are lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. Full of hustle and bustle. Would highly recommend this property

Beautiful Setting!

We were delighted when we walked through the door at Leafy Hollow. Everything was spotless and the house is lovely and spacious, it didn’t feel crowded for the 6 of us at all. The view is by far the selling point to this property, I don’t we could tire of looking out across the water. Perfect location for crabbing, fishing, walking into town. Everything is so easily accessible. We would all love to go back sometime.

A great holiday home

We have stayed before and enjoyed it as much as we did this time. The house is homely and very well appointed, it didn't feel like a 'holiday rental'. The views across the water to Rock are special and change minute by minute. The proximity of the Camel Trail was a bonus for our grandchildren with their bikes. We'll be back.

Lovely Holiday at Leafy Hollow

Very central to Padstow and such easy walking distance to the harbour, bike hire and beach. Great views of the Camel Estuary with a beautiful garden. A well equipped home, with all amenities and suitable for families. Absolutely loved the location and would highly recommend. I would say the parking was only really for 1 car but there was ample space to also park out the front of the property on the road, which was never an issue. The hosts were very easy to contact and helpful.

Stunning location, home from home

Excellent holiday property in both location and quality. Everything made it feel like a home from home very quickly. Before arrival communication was excellent and any questions were very quickly answered. On arrival the property was lovely, very clean with all info available and a nice welcome gift box - thank you. During our stay we had everything we needed (even a bit of good weather) but some highlights were: - the views - day and night were stunning. Being just in from the actual coast also meant less wind. - the fact that it's only a 10 minute stroll into the centre of Padstow and basically a flat walk - so rare around the coast and meant you didn't need to take the car / worry about parking. - the beds - so comfortable, we all slept excellently every night. All in all one of our best holidays, so thank you to team Leafy Hallow.

Perfect Location

The location overlooking the Camel estuary and 10 minutes walk into Padstow centre is perfect. The house is well equipped and comfortable. One criticism would be that the ustairs room would be perfect as a family room if it wasn't open to the rest of the house hence any noise could be heard maki g it unsuitable for a baby to sleep. This did not spoil our week as we thoroughly enjoyed the house. There is a cycle route on the doorstep and great walks also without needing to use the car.

Another great stay

This was our second stay at Leafy Hollow and it was amazing. It’s a beautiful well equipped house in fantastic location. The house is immaculate and once again, we were left with a beautiful welcome hamper by the owners, which was thoroughly appreciated. The views from the rear of the house are simply stunning and something I can sit and gaze at all day, it was a a real shame to leave.

Excellent property that’s complimented by an amazing view.

After our property in Bakewell was flooded and subsequently cancelled, we hunted for a property in the south but were dubious about why this particular property hadn’t been booked for half term week. But from the first communication with the owners we felt confident that we’d made the right choice. Excellent property with everything you require for a weeks break. Padstow is a tourist hotspot so to find a property with parking and just a 5-10min walk from the harbour / centre is priceless. We hope to stay here again.

Exceptional Holiday Home

Leafy Hollow is a beautiful home in a postcard perfect location. The views are amazing in all kinds of weather. All of the things that make a home feel like a welcoming home are thoughtfully provided. We had a wonderful two weeks.

In 1958 our Grandmother bought a plot of land from the Prideaux-Brune estate.
The original 2 bedroom bungalow was built to her specifications.
Our Gran was a keen gardener and much of the garden that she spent hours tending remains today, including her much loved and admired rose garden at the front of the house.

In 1998, Leafy Hollow passed to our parents where they spent a happy retirement together. Our parents extended the beautiful entrance hall and created the loft conversion which offers breath-taking views from the balcony.

In 2018 Leafy Hollow passed to us, we decided to make the property more open-planned to take full advantage of the wonderful views throughout the property.

We hope you enjoy your stay at Leafy Hollow and leave with as many happy memories as we have and still do over the last 60 years.
