Welcome to Feels Like Home Alfama River View Flat!
This amazing apartment located in Alfama has one bedroom with two single beds, one bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen and a bright living room with dining area and a sofa-bed for two overlooking the river.

A confirmation voucher will be sent to your e-mail with all the important details about your reservation and Feels Like Home additional services.
Access to the apartment is made by code. Guests should go directly to the apartment and contact our team upon arrival to provide the ID or Passport information and obtain the access codes.
All guests must provide their ID or Passport Information at the time of check-in.
Please note that a mandatory touristic tax will be included in the final price. If it has not been charged at the moment of your reservation, it must be paid at the check-in.
All the remaining payments must be made in cash.
Transfer Service - We can provide a transfer service for an additional cost.
Amenities - We provide toilet paper and shampoo only for the first day.

Alfama
If you’re looking for the true Lisbon experience, Alfama is the place to stay. The oldest district of Lisbon, Alfama wraps around the slopes of a steep hill between the Castelo de São Jorge above and the Tagus River below. With narrow cobbled streets, colorfully painted houses and flower pots and laundry hanging out the windows, Alfama is the most photographed area of the city. It is also home to some of the city’s best Fado houses, an old lyrical Portuguese genre of music.
Soak up the glorious view of a sunset over the Tagus at the Miradouro de Santa Luzia and lose yourself in the countless rustic bars (tavernas) where you can enjoy drinks and traditional Portuguese cuisine.
Catch the city´s famous tram 28 up to Graça and visit the church or have a coffee with a view of the city and the Tagus river at the Miradouro da Graça. Take the same tram downtown and hop off at Lisbon´s numerous landmarks such as Castelo de São Jorge, Sé, Praça Camões or Jardim da Estrela.

Alfama stay

Overall would stay at this vrbo again, here are some of the pros/cons. Pros: -Great location in the cute area of Alfama located on a quiet street -Clean and well decorated apartment with river views and balcony -AC in bedroom which was necessary in the summer heat -Easy check in but unfortunately had to be done at a property management office which was not in the same location as the rental. It was a 20 min walk or 10 min Uber Cons: -No AC in living areas -No elevator, you have to walk up several flights of stairs to the apartment -The bed is made of 2 twins that are quite hard

Amazing Lisboa week!

My family spent a week at the apartment in June of 2024. The apartment is in Alfama, just down the road from the cathedral Sé so was incredibly convenient base to explore the city: Praça do Comércio is an short walk away, the Castillo, in the opposite direction, was a short walk away as well. The Santa Apolonia train station is also fairly close, although with narrow streets can be tricky navigating to find your way to the apartment, but definitely walkable. The apartment is on the third floor and while there is an elevator, it was not working so it was steep climb of stairs, but wasn’t an issue for us—but it’s not for everyone since the stairs are basically double height per floor. The apartment is bright and airy and you can see the Rio Tejo from the dining room and living room. And despite not being 100% spotless, it is definitely acceptably clean and was fairly comfortable. But there were a few things not functioning or were quirkily not right (one of the doors to balcony didn’t open, AC in living room didn’t work (the one in bedroom was great and strong), only one trash bag supplied, wine openers and fans were comically unusable) but none of these distracted from our enjoyment of the apartment—I communicated with the rental company and they offered to have someone come out to address, which we didn’t need). Overall, a wonderful stay in a lovely apartment. We would definitely stay at the apartment again, and in fact, we hope to when we return to Lisboa!

Quiet Alfama stay, but Apartment needs help….

Chose this rental because of location… sunny with good view.. street quiet. Would not stay again… Pros: Location, view, comfortable beds (even if small singles pushed together..). Good hot water and wifi. Street quiet at night. AC unit in bedroom. Cons: access to unit through public spaces downright scary. Main door to apartment is up three very high flights, HUGE door key never worked. If you use the small elevator (access through small wooden door inside building entrance) - you require a total of 4 (four) keys to access unit. Two of the keys are problematic (wooden door and elevator).. you have to work them… very frustrating and nerve racking not knowing if we can gain access. Elevator opens onto a scary narrow metal inside fire escape … night time motion detector lighting flashes.. no apartment number indicated. Some dishes, glasses and pots dirty…having been put into the shelves without cleaning, black mold in bathroom at sink and in shower. Drip coffee machine doesn’t work (piece missing), toaster looks like it has been kicked around and sometimes didn’t work correctly. No can opener. Dishwasher was difficult to get to work properly (we ended up hand washing). Clothes washer is jammed in a closet like space next to the fridge.. but didn’t have to use. Extension cords supplied to deal with lack of plugs,electric heaters supplied to warm living room area as AC/heating unit doesn’t to work (no remote), Nighttime lighting dim,sofa dirty,1 window would not open.

Grand appartement lumineux, calme, très bien placé, une très belle vue, un balcon très agréable.Très facile pour récupérer les clés et très bonne communication avec le gérant (il manquait un drap, il nous a été amené dans la journée).Les petits bémols : - le canapé lit qui commence à être usé, le matelas s'enfonce d'un côté, il est assez inconfortable... Je pense que les matelas de la mezzanine, qui ne sont pas considérés comme un couchage seraient plus confortables et plus adaptés.- il serait agréable de trouver dans la cuisine : du sel, de poivre, du sucre...

Wir haben uns für die Wohnung entschieden, da es einen Safe/Code geben sollte, was für unsere Flugzeit ideal war. Leider funktionierte das nicht und wir mussten den Schlüssel an einer Rezeption holen und auch mitten in der Nacht wieder abgeben. Allerdings war dort immer jemand da. Die Kommunikation per whatsapp war aber super, sofern man rechtzeitig online die Checkin Anlagen übermittelt. Zum Zustand der Unterkunft: tolle Lage und erstaunlich ruhig. Man kommt mit dem Auto nicht direkt bis zum Ausladen vor die Türe, da es sich um gesperrte Anwohnerbereiche handelt. Das haben wir leider erst vor Ort erfahren und eine große Ehrenrunde drehen müssen. Parkplätze gabs dann unten am Fluss, aber die Koffer musste wir hoch schleppen. Viele Schlüssel waren für den etwas gewöhnungsbedürftigen Zugang notwendig. Der Zugang zum Fahrstuhl "hing", die Treppen waren sehr eng! Der Altbau hat Charme, aber die elektrischen Geräte waren sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Der Geschirrspüler war aufgrund Schimmel nicht nutzbar. Auch der Kühlschrank war völlig vereist, hier sollte mehr darauf geachtet werden. Die große Gasflamme am Herd war defekt. Wer nicht kochen muss, der kann hier gut übernachten. Betten waren ok, Bad roch nicht. Allerdings waren beide Klimaanlagen defekt, was eigentlich gar nicht geht. Wir hatten im Oktober perfektes Wetter. Im Appartement kam bei uns aber ständig die Sicherung, d.h. man sitzt dann völlig im dunkeln, irgendwas ist nicht in Ordnung und muss überprüft werden...
