This was a fabulous stay, location and comfortable! Probably the cleanest VRBO I’ve stayed in. Met all our needs, washer, AC , shampoo/conditioner/body wash as well as hair dryer & kitchen! Great food, groceries around the corner. Convenient to everything . Graça area the best! La Matta cafe just out the door if we were too tired from all day hikes. I will stay again and highly recommend! 10 out of 10!! Thank you!

Charming flat in the heart of Graca; well equipped and comfortable; a great area for everything. Host was very helpful. If you’re an early nighter then perhaps not for you as a very lively street in the evenings! Plenty of places to eat.

We had an incredible stay here! The apartment was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and a fantastic shower. The street is full of restaurants, and it’s lovely and fun at night. It’s close to at metro station, a bus stop, and a tram stop, so getting around was very easy!

Great location. If you like wine and pizza, you can spend all your evenings just outside your apartment. A bit noisy at night, but we were able to sleep well anyway. Bring earplugs if you don’t sleep easily.

The flat was great, but the neighborhood was amazing. Atop the highest hill in Lisbon with great views and tons of local restaurants and shops. Be prepared for an uphill return when visiting the Alfama or Baixo - or maybe book an Uber.

Thank you so much for your lovely review, LB 😊 I’m very happy to know that you enjoyed both the apartment and the neighborhood. Graça truly is a very special part of Lisbon, with beautiful viewpoints, local life and many great cafés, restaurants and shops nearby. And yes — Lisbon’s famous hills definitely keep everyone active! 😊 Luckily, Uber and the famous tram 28 can make the climbs a little easier. It was a pleasure hosting you, and you would always be very welcome on a future visit to Lisbon! Kind regards, Sara

Such a cute apartment, right in the middle of a fun little street full of cool restaurants! The location was good for getting around the city. Tram 28 passes right next to the street, although it was so packed we usually just walked. It was so nice to have access to a washing machine to take care of some laundry during our trip. We ate at Saga, La Matta, and Tasca da Susana- all right outside our door and all delicious. It is a little noisy late into the night from the proximity of the restaurants and wine bars, but ear plugs were provided and we used white noise from our phones. Honestly, we were so tired at the end of each day, we barely noticed the street noise! Communication was smooth and easy with the host. She was quick to answer any questions we had. We'd stay here again if we return to Lisbon!

Sara’s apartment in Lisbon was so perfect for my trip to Lisbon, everything you need is at the apartment, clean towels and sheets, air condition, an amazing balcony as well as the best pizza downstairs. I am so grateful this VRBO was available for the time I needed. It was perfect.

Thank you Sara and family. We had a fabulous time staying in your very clean and comfortable apartment. It was the perfect location. The local restaurants...A Penalva da Graca, a personal favorite, were affordable and welcoming. All the best. I will highly recommend your place. And thanks for arranging our taxi to the airport.

The only reason this was not a 5 star rating was the loud music at night coming from the restaurant below. Otherwise it was perfect! Communication was excellent, the size of the apartment was nice and the restaurants literally in the area below the apartment were perfect!

Dear Laurel, Thank you very much for your feedback and for taking the time to share your experience. I’m really glad to know that you enjoyed the apartment and the area! I’m truly sorry to hear about the music at night. I wish you had let me know during your stay — I would have immediately spoken with the restaurant owners to ask their staff to lower the volume or turn it off. By law, music is only allowed until 11 PM, and it should never be excessively loud. I will make sure to remind them again to be more considerate with the volume in the evenings. Thank you once again for staying with us — it was a pleasure hosting you! Warm regards, Sara

Graça Perfect Stay

Everything was exactly as described in this beautiful and easily accessible apartment in old town Lisbon. The host was extremely accommodating and fast to reply about anything requested. A gorgeous apartment atop of a quaint and groovy strip. Music and hustle until just after midnight in the restaurants below and then all is quiet for a restful sleep. I'll certainly be back for another stay!

Great Stay. The apartment was clean and exactly as shown. There was ample room for the 3 of us. The apartment could comfortably fit 4. The balcony was a nice feature as well as the washer which had a 15min wash cycle. The area it self is quite lively with tonnes of places to eat. The waiters were friendly and service was good. Its very close to a lookout point and walking distance from the downtown. Sara was responsive and we had no issues while there. Overall we were happy with the stay and would return.

We stayed at the apartment for one week at the end of September 2025. Location was great. Within walking distance to shops and many local restaurants and wine bars. Also within a short walk from one of the best vistas in the city as well as bustling Alfama. The best pizza we have ever had is located in the building!!! There is no car traffic on the streets and there are many quaint restaurants and wine bars. Couple of bars are open till 2 am, but with closed windows and AC on it was very quiet and we slept well. Windows are great at noise blocking. There is also a small bakery next door and we loved the smell of freshly baked bread! Large and comfortable bed in the main bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds and a lovely small terrace! All photos were very accurate. Four of us were very comfortable and had plenty of space. Apartment was very clean and had an adequate supply of dishes, glasses and cookware. Having a washer and an iron was super helpful as well. We loved the location, the apartment and hosts (Sara and Manuel) were responsive. Easy check in, the key box code was sent to us at the time of check-in. Our apartment was only one flight of stairs up. We highly recommend the place!
The walking right next to the apartment
Bars and restaurants on the streets
Lovely Italian restaurant with amazing pizzas and pasta dishes
