Traditional Eolian House "Luna"- Unique experience

An authentic and rare experience in a traditional Aeolian fisherman's house overlooking the sea.

Over 100 years old, recently restored using original materials and techniques such as cane, lime, and wood beams.
You’ll stay in a home where the charm of the past has been preserved — a rare gem in the Aeolian Islands.

⚠️ The house is NOT accessible by car. You can park along the public road, and from there walk a scenic paved path (300 meters) with some STEEP sections to reach the property. This unique setting guarantees privacy and quiet

This small but charming house is a former fisherman's home built in traditional Aeolian style.
It features:

- A living room with a single sofa bed and access to all other rooms

- A double bedroom

- A kitchen with induction stove and a restored original wood-burning stove

- A bathroom with shower

The house stays naturally cool thanks to two small rainwater cisterns underneath. There is also an air conditioner (extra cost) in the living room, which can cool the entire house.

The veranda, furnished with table and chairs, offers breathtaking sea views.
Next to the house is a small sunbathing area with lounge chairs and an outdoor shower, all facing the island of Vulcano.

Just a 2–3 minute walk down a private footpath leads you to the sea. Natural rock formations create a crystal-clear swimming pool where you can bathe at any time of day. A stunning beach ( "La Forbice") is also accessible by foot or even by swimming.

You may park your car for free on the public road above.

The layout ensures full privacy — leveled terraces are not visible from neighboring houses. A 24/7 phone line is available for any need. We can also assist with booking boats, cars, or scooters (early booking recommended).

We also rent other nearby homes (Casa Luna, Sole, Cielo), each with private entrances and distant enough to ensure quiet and independence.

A shared panoramic area features a wood oven, large barbecue, fridge, tables, and chairs — perfect for outdoor meals with a view of Vulcano island.

Very nice couple week in Carlo's house in Lipari

We spent a week in Carlo's aeolian house. We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was exactly as described: Very authentic, perfectly located with a wonderful view on the other islands and direct entry to the sea, close to Lipari city. The house was very clean and well equipped. Our local hosts, Antonello and Maria, were very charming and took care of all our needs, especially the transportation of the lugage. A wonderful place. We would have liked to stay there more time and will certainly be back, soon! Christoph and Marie (from Germany, Munich)

We stayed in the old traditional Lipari home and it was absolutely beautiful. For a couple, there was nothing better than waking up to the view out over the sea in the morning as the sun was rising. The property was so quiet and peaceful too. We could have breakfast on the porch, swim and snorkel in the private rock pool and along the coast and shower outside beside the house. Antonello was our contact for our trip and his was so helpful and gentile. He really made sure that we were comfortable and happy during our stay. We couldn't recommend Antonello and this stay any more. The property is a little out from Lipari but if you rent a scooter during your stay it really helps, plus you can explore the rest of the island and get to restaurants and the port in 10 mins. We hope to return someday and will be booking this place if we do. Thanks Antonello

Ein einziger Traum

Am liebsten möchte ich ja gar keine gute Bewertung angeben, damit dieses wunderschönes Fleckchen Erde weiterhin so unberührt bleibt, wie es ist. Das große Hanggrundstück mit insgesamt vier Ferienhäusern liegt knapp oberhalb des Meeres. Rechts ein kleiner Strand mit 9 Minuten Fußweg erreichbar, links eine Bucht, die quasi zum Haus gehört Sowohl der Ausblick als auch die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber lassen sich kaum in Worte fassen. Wir waren für neun Tage dort und mussten wirklich weinen, als wir uns bewusst wurden, dass diese neuen Tage nun schon wieder rum sind. Wir haben gleich fürs nächste Jahr gebucht und können uns kaum vorstellen, noch etwas Schöneres zu finden. Abgesehen davon, dass lieber Paris als solches schon ein Traum ist, sind die Häuser das Grundstück und das kristallklarer Meer. Alles, was man im Urlaub so braucht. unser Highlight war der original italienische Holzofen, indem wir Pizza, Brot und auch Fisch oder Lasagne gemacht haben. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist eben so unbeschreiblich wie die Stille und die Ruhe, die einen erwarten. Allerdings eins muss jedem, der dort bucht, bewusst sein. Die Häuser sind nicht erreichbar mit dem Auto. Man muss zu Fuß einen Steinberg runter und folglich auch wieder hoch laufen, wenn man mit dem Auto kommt. Selbst ein fünfziger Motorroller reicht vermutlich nicht aus, um zu zweit den Berg hoch zu kommen, denn es wirklich steil. Die Unterkunft ist also nur für Leute mit einer körperlichen Grund Fitness zu empfehlen. Ein Traum!

Merveilleuse vue

Il est des endroits où l'on se sent bien et que l'on ne voudrait jamais quitter. La maison de Carlo est un de ceux là. La vue depuis la terrasse est superbe, la plage à proximité est juste très précieuse et les prestations de la maison sont simples mais il y a tout le nécessaire pour un séjour réussi. Nous y avons passé une semaine très agréable. Merci à Maria Grazia, Antonello et Carlo.

Superbe lieu éolien !

La maison typique éolienne de Carlo est parfaite pour se reposer et admirer la vue imprenable sur la mer. L’emplacement vous permet de visiter Lipari facilement avec un scooter ou une voiture. L’accés a la maison peut être difficile pour des personnes ayant des difficultés à marcher mais l’endroit est magnifique ! Antonello a été au petit soin pour nous tout au long du séjour. Grazie Mille !

Soggiorno casa Luna

Tipica casa eoliana con vista spettacolare sul mare e bellissima caletta a pochi minuti a piedi. I gestori molto accoglienti e disponibili. Si raggiunge soltanto a piedi - in 10 minuti - anche se un paio di tratto sono un po’ faticosi ma la quiete e la vista ripagano ampliamente lo sforzo !

Traumurlaub

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub bei Carlo und fühlten uns wie im Paradies. Er war ein äußerst zuvorkommender Gastgeber, der sich um alles gekümmert und organisiert hat. Alle waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es war ein Urlaub den wir nicht vergessen werden. Vielen Dank noch mal an Carlo, Antonello und Luca. Wir werden wiederkommen.
