Lovely cottage in an excellent location. Very cosy! Everything worked fine, and access to the coastal path was great. Only grump? The promised barbecue wasn’t there, and we view that as an essential for our holidays. Especially with such lovely weather!

Peaceful cottage in glorious location

Driftwood is one of a set of barn conversion cottages way off the beaten track and just a few minutes walk away from the South-West Coast path. It was an ideal base for us to walk a new stretch of coastline which is as good as any of the parts of the UK coastline that we have walked before. Other families and couples were around but we hardly heard or saw any of them and you could hear a pin drop overnight, such was the tranquillity of the place. Comfortable and well equipped, and spotlessly clean - would certainly recommend.

Lovely property. Back roads are a but tricky if you come across oncoming traffic, but that's the countryside for you. Not too secluded with other barns on site.

Nice little property in good location

This was a nice little property, which was well maintained and modern. A good base to explore the coastal path, the Tarka Trail, Bideford & surrounding area. Ideal for a short stay.

Ruhiges schönes gut ausgestattetes Haus in abgelegener sehr schöner Umgebung.

Sehr gut. Leider gibt es in dem Haus sehr viele Spinnen und Spinnenweben. Wen das stört, der hat erst Mal einiges zu tun.

Really enjoyed our stay here. A lovely place to be. Not really practical to walk to the pub for dinner so we ate in every night - which was fine.

Loved the property, beautiful location, quiet with gorgeous views. Spotlessly clean, fully equipped for a stay. Lots of walks with varying degree of abilities. Host fabulous. Our two dogs came with us and we were able to let them into the garden which was secure.Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lovely stay - great walks

Nice little house, quiet location. Beautiful walks across the field for sea views. Def stay again Would have been great to be able to recycle stuff but the bin was locked.

Beautiful, Peaceful Haven

Aside from a few issues gaining access, which the host sorted out, the cottage was lovely. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed, the rooms were fresh and clean and the beds and sofas comfortable. Outside had a nice garden with seating and the post and rail fencing was supplemented with chicken wire to stop pets escaping. Overall a really great place with no noise - it’s far from the hurly burly, and offers everything you need.

Excellent Holiday Accommodation

This is a lovely barn conversion in a beautiful area. You ideally do need a car though as the property is a little way from the local village but it is very peaceful and within stunning countryside. We will definitely book again.

Lovely stay and communication

Super easy booking and lovely stay. We had a very effective communication with the owner/ property manager. My family (incl the dog) had an amazing time here.

Perfect remote get away

We loved our stay. It is very much a remote farm. Peaceful and beautiful. Close to the coastal trail.
