This particular one is a duplex. Very nice but other side had young kids and their was a lot of stomping on stairs all hours of night. Managed but wish woukd have known before hand.

Thank you for staying with us. Yes the home is Duplex as described in the listing with private entrances and yards.
This is our 2nd time staying at this cabin and we absolutely LOVE it. It is the perfect cabin, in the perfect location. The drive up the road to the cabin is absolutely beautiful. Hosts are extremely quick to respond and helpful. Plenty of space, with 4 beds, and has everything you need. We stayed for over a week and we were able to see the lights from the cabin on this trip multiple times! What an amazing thing to walk outside to. We also did some tours with the hosts as they have a lot of different options they offer! We highly recommend both the cabin and their tours, as it makes pick up and drop off easy. We can’t wait to come back again! Thank you so much Jason and Heather!

Terrible hosts
The hosts were not great to communicate with. They put in the listing that they offer transportation but refused to when asked several times.
The stairs are open on one side so if there are children, just be really careful when they are on he stairs. There are paths coming and going from the cabin but the hosts get ornery if you use them.
They charges us extra for some scratches on the floor due to our carseats which I totally get but then he harassed us for days about the situation when it was already dealt with.
The cabin was decent but the hosts were awful.

The guests kept trespassing on neighbors property. They severely damaged the homes floor than acted like its no big deal. We run a tour company not a free taxi cab service.

Increíble la experiencia y los anfitriones.
La casa impecable, hermosa, nos dejaron snacks, sábanas y toallas oliendo delicioso.
La cabaña acogedora y pudimos ver las auroras desde ahí.
Gracias Jason!
Although dealing with VRBO directly is a nightmare...we were glad the property mgr/owner was very quick to respond..the property is a split family so there is a rental on each side of the cabin, which we didnt know, but it wasnt really a problem since we spent very little time there ...the bedrooms have 2 queen beds each (with 2 bedrooms). We saw so many moose and caribou at sunrise just 5 mins away! VRBO really needs to get their $h@t together but the owners are amazing ...a must see property!
Cozy cabin, specious and clean. Our 4 year old enjoyed the DVD cartoons. We also saw northern lights from the yard! The location is quiet but we can hear the neighbor. WIFI signal could also be improved. We had a great stay.
We stay at a lot of VRBO rentals and were very impressed by all of the details the host provided. They have really thought through how to make the place comfortable. It is a duplex style unit. Very clean. A lot of coffee options. Clear directions for use of things within the house. THE WATER WAS GREAT! This may sound like a weird thing to include, but a lot of places are on wells in Alaska and the water taste funny and leaves orange stains. The beds are older. Be sure to follow Host's directions for location as the VRBO address is incorrect. Overall, it was a great place!
The perfect way to experience Alaska! Comfortable and clean with many thoughtful touches. We have stayed here many times and are never disappointed. The owners do a great job of keeping the place welcoming and warm. Highly recommend.
Owners go out of their way to provide all the little things to make the stay enjoyable including snacks, WiFi, washer & dryer and more. Very clean. Beautiful surroundings.

Felt like home
We booked this cabin with not much time to spare, I'd cancelled at another hotel because they'd discounted the rates for off season would not honor that rate for those of us who booked in advance. I was so happy this happened though because I got to share this cabin with my family instead, much better experience than a hotel! The owners made certain we had everything that we needed and were comfortable, supplying the basics in the fridge, plus some candies, chips, and breakfast items for us to enjoy. We utilized the WIFI and satellite which were great. Both bedrooms had 2 queen beds with storage room in dressers and hanging area for our things. The location is just far enough out of town to be peaceful and quiet but close enough to run into town if you needed anything. Jason, the owner even texted us to go check out the aurora which I found very thoughtful. We would definitely stay here again if our travel plans bring us back this way. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality!
Our Family Jason, Heather and our sons Orin, Caleb and Jace Peters love Alaska and sharing it with others from around the world. We build all of our cabins to be comfortable, warm and are kept clean and fresh.
Why they chose this property
Our Cabins are very Modern but still very much Alaskan. Clean quite and always warm and inviting.
What makes this property unique
We are located on a quite country road. In the summer Our location is very close to great hiking trails and world class fishing. In the winter months our location in second to none for the viewing the Northern lights. We also own a top rated tour company that specializes in Aurora Photography and Alaska sight seeing tours.
