Perfect town, Perfect house!

Our stay could not have been better. The house is very nicely furnished, and is in a great location. It was easy to walk anywhere in town we wanted to go. And equally easy to find free parking on the streets. We would love to return to this part of Sicily, and would happily stay in this house again. It was great!

wonderful apartment

Thanks to Mr Guglielmo, the appartment is very comfortable, clean and well equipped (provided all you need). Scicli is a really nice town. It was very good choise.

Comfort and peace in Sicilian style

The house was beautifully situated, tucked away in a quiet corner yet within yards of the central area of Scicli. The town was a joy. much of interest, and a pleasant ambience. There were shops and restaurants to cater for all tastes. From here we were able to visit other places including Syracuse, Noto, Donnafugata, Cava d'Ispica and more. There was a warm welcome and the house provided comfort and every facility that one might want.

Bellissimo!

Noi abbiamo passato una settimana fantastica in Scicli nel' appartamento di Guigelmo e Rosalba. The house has everything one could possibly need and Guiglelmo went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and welcome, a bottle of wine, cookies and fruit were even waiting for us in the apartment along with other staples to get us started. He also picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. The appartment really is great and in a fantastic location in the heart of the old town. We would recommend it to anyone.

Un gioiellino!

L'appartamento di Guglielmo è curato nei minimi dettagli, sia nell'arredamento che nella dotazione necessaria per un soggiorno confortevole, ben più della maggioranza degli alloggi che abbiamo visitato. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato dei dolci di benvenuto, bevande fresche, frutta, l'occorrente per la colazione e le cose basilari per cucinare (olio, aceto, spezie...). Anche per l'igiene personale e per la pulizia della casa non mancava nulla... Veramente una sorpresa. La casa è situata in una zona tranquilla e anche se non dispone di posto auto, si può parcheggiare a poca distanza. Scicli poi è meravigliosa, un vero gioiellino barocco. Grazie Guglielmo per l'ospitalità.

Favoloso soggiorno

Abbiamo trascorso qualche giorno in questo posto bellissimo in stile barocco. Abbiamo trovato ad accorglierci il proprietario Guglielmo sempre disponibilissimo anche telefonicamente .Appartamento fornito di ogni comfort dalla biancheria all attrezzatura per la cucina , molto grazioso pulito ampio e confertevole ,caratteristico... e proprio nel centro di Scicli .Ottimo direi !!

Una bellissima vacanza

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo dammuso per 5 giorni. L'accoglienza del signor Guglielmo è stata eccezionale. Accolti da un vassoio di dolci e da una bottiglia di buon vino. A casa non manca davvero nulla: tutto ciò che serve per abbondanti colazioni, succhi di frutta, condimenti vari, cuffiette da bagno, doccia schiuma, ciabatte scendi doccia, set di asciugamani, farmaci di prima necessità, numeri utili, set di cucito, lucido per le scarpe, giochi di società, CD DVD e tanto altro. La pulizia della casa è impeccabile. La posizione centralissima. Sebbene a pochissimi passi dalla via Mormino Penna, il vicolo è molto silenzioso e i vicini di casa davvero cordiali (così come tutta la gente del posto). Tutto semplicemente meraviglioso. La bellezza del Val di Noto e la tradizione abitativa del luogo

Il dammuso di Rosalba e Guglielmo si trova in pieno centro storico di Scicli, a pochi metri da via Mormino Penna, da piazza Busacca e da tutto quanto c'è da vedere a Scicli. Ma di questo e in generale della casa non voglio dirvi: l'annuncio parla da solo e vi assicuro che ciò che troverete è esattamente quello che è descritto e che vedete in foto. Voglio parlarvi invece della accoglienza puntuale e gradita dei proprietari, delle piccole grandi attenzioni che troverete nel dammuso al vostro arrivo: dall'arredamento completo, pulitissimo e in condizioni d'uso perfette come il resto della casa, alla dotazione di biancheria, tovagliati, stoviglie. Dalle tendine delle finestre e dalle federe dei cuscini ricamati con le iniziali "DV", il dammuso nel vicolo, alla scorta di marmellate, latte, biscotti, succhi di frutta per la vostra colazione. Dalla presenza di tutti i tipi di condimento (compresi quelli tipici del luogo), a quellla di ombrelloni (2!) e spiaggine da usare nelle spiagge raggiungibili in pochi minuti da Scicli. Una bottiglia di ottimo Nero d'Avola, tutti i tipi di carte da gioco italiane (tutte!) e francesi, farmaci e strumenti di primissimo soccorso, numeri telefonici di persone a disposizione, dal medico di base all'elettrauto, wifi e climatizzatori, lavatrice, zona lavanderia, tutti i tipi di saponi e detersivi di cui potreste avere bisogno. In più, l'atmosfera del vicolo, con la Chiesa del Carmine a vista, le persone che ti salutano quando esci e rientri... E non me né voglia, Guglielmo, se ho dimenticato qualcosa! In definitiva, se state pensando di soggiornare a Scicli per le vostre vacanze, scegliere il Dammuso nel Vicolo significa innanzitutto andare sul sicuro, e poi avere una esperienza diretta della vita del luogo in cui vi trovate. Grazie ancora Rosalba e Guglielmo per la vostra squisita ospitalità!

Eine tolle Wohnung ruhig aber sehr zentral, kein Quartier, die mit dem Auto vor die Haustür fahren wollen/müssen. Verständigung war kein Problem, auch ohne Italienisch-Kenntnisse. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Un alojamiento magnifico

Es un apartamento fresco para el verano, que además cuenta con AC. La atención de los propietarios fue excepcional, con detalles a la llegada y los desayunos. Además podía tener todo lo que pudieras necesitar, incluso aguja e hilo. El pueblo de Scicli también maravilloso, con locales para tomar algo tranquilo y comer o cenar.

Perfect rental for us!

Gugliemo's apartment in Scicli was perfect for us. We are a retired couple in our mid-70's not being able to drive right up to the door was not a problem for us. It is an easy walk to where you park your car for free. Comfortable beds, very clean overall, a decently equipped kitchen, thoughtful welcoming package, historical center location, very reasonable rent, etc all made this apartment a great choice. We used it as a base to explore the area by car and as a central location to enjoy Scicli by foot.

Perfect apartment in Scicli

We enjoyed our weeklong stay at Guglielmo and Rosalba's apartment very much. It looked exactly as pictured on the website and was quite comfortable, spotlessly clean and quiet. The location was perfect for exploring Scicli on foot and for day trips to the surrounding area. It was very well furnished and supplied with everything needed for our stay. We have rented many apartments, and have never stayed in one as well stocked with food (wine, oil, spices, garlic juice, milk, , jam, cookies, chocolate, tea, coffee, etc,) as well as grooming items, laundry supplies, washing machine and much more. It is clear they have tried to think of everything to make for a pleasant stay for their guests. Guglielmo met us in the plaza, directed us to parking, and responded very quickly if we needed assistance or information. We would highly recommend the apartment and would love to stay there again.

une très belle surprise et un excellent séjour !!!

Notre choix basé sur les commentaires des voyageurs précédents a dépassé nos espérances :confort, propreté, espace, le côté fonctionnel, le calme. Une décoration élégante et moderne servant le bien-être sans être encombrante. L'art et le sens de l'accueil de nos hôtes exprimés dans les moindres détails: depuis les cadeaux de bienvenue jusque dans tout l'équipement nécessaire pour vivre au quotidien. Bref, de quoi se sentir à l'aise dès l'installation et ne plus avoir envie d'en repartir! Scicli est une petite ville charmante et vivante où il fait bon flâner dès le pas de la porte, le quartier (piéton) est lui même très agréable (voiture garée à 2 pas sans problème).Nombreux restaurants et terrasses pour tous les goûts. Scicli est une base idéale pour visiter la région entre baignades (même en octobre!)paysages naturels et patrimoine baroque. Rapport qualité/prix excellent. Merci à Gugliemo pour son accueil, nous regrettons juste de ne pas avoir pu communiquer plus en italien pour le plaisir seulement car, pour l'essentiel, on arrivait à se comprendre. Nous recommandons vivement Dammuso nel Vicolo.

Un petit nid douillet au coeur du centre historique

un très bon séjour dans cette magnifique maison du centre historique. Tout est fait pour que l on se sente bien dans les moindres détails : cuisine très bien équipée, le nécessaire pour le petit déjeuner est fourni, bouteille d eau, gâteaux pour notre arrivée... bref un très bon accueil des propriétaires ! La maison est très bien située dans le centre de Scicli... tout peut être fait à pieds. scicli est une ville que nous conseillons vivement. Nous devions y passer 3 jours, nous avons prolongé notre séjour de 2 nuits tellement nous y étions bien! Nous retournerons, c est sûr dans cette jolie maison. Vraiment un excellent séjour que nous conseillons...

Perfetto! Il Dammuso nel Vicolo casa nostra!

Siamo stati ospiti di questa casa per tre mesi. La posizione è perfetta, in centro ma alla fine di un vicoletto silenzioso; la casa, molto confortevole e pulitissima, ben arredata, la cucina fornita di tutto quello che può servire in una vera casa; riscaldata con i termosifoni quindi confortevole anche nelle serate più fredde. Il proprietario sempre disponibile con discrezione. Scicli è una cittadina molto vivace anche d'inverno, accogliente sia per i giovani che per chi vuole apprezzare la cucina sciclitana! Consiglio la casa a tutti coloro che vogliono vivere l'esperienza di Scicli!

Bellissimo dammuso nella splendida Scicli

Abbiamo alloggiato in questo splendido appartamento lo scorso agosto per una settimana. La casa, frutto di un perfetto restauro di un dammuso in un vicolo in centro a Scicli, e' curata in ogni particolare, sicuramente la piu' pulita dove siamo mai stati sia in italia che all'estero. L' ospite e' accolto con grande calore e attenzione dal gentilissimo sig Guglielmo. Vengono messi a disposizione per la colazione diversi prodotti.....sufficienti per un'intera settimana! La casa e' in centro ma in un vicolo tranquillo. Quando torneremo a Scicli ritorneremo sicuramente qui. Rapporto qualita' prezzo ottimo. Cristina

Wonderful House. So relaxing and welcoming.

This house is ideally located in the heart of beautiful Scicli. Despite its central location it is extremely quiet being located at the end of a lovely alley. The alley is brimming with real Italian residential life but is very quiet at night. Inside the house is truely charming with wonderful high vaulted ceilings. It is very spacious, clean and has everything required for self catering, Along with all of this, the owners, Gugielmo and Rosalba, are incredibly welcoming and generous. Una meraviglia

Non si sa cosa apprezzare di più: la squisita ospitalità dei proprietari o la bellezza del "dammuso"? il meraviglioso centro di Scicli o Ragusa Ibla? o Noto? o Siracusa e Ortigia? tutto a un tiro di schioppo. Siamo arrivati alla vigilia di Pasqua e siamo stati immersi nei riti folk-religiosi della settimana santa: una meraviglia. Davvero una vacanza incantevole

Alloggio bellissimo e curato nei minimi particolari. Posizione strategica in una stupenda scicli. Proprietari gentilissimi e ospitali. Coccolati, come a casa

Una piacevole sorpresa il Dammuso nel vicolo, e Scicli, davvero un bel soggiorno. Ti senti accolta come a casa, quando entri hai l’ impressione che le volte del soggiorno ti stringano in un caldo abbraccio, sarà l’ effetto della temperatura calda che ti accoglie. Il benvenuto è superbo, frutta, dolci locali, con i buonissimi biscotti di mandorla, e un corposo Nero d’ Avola. Per la colazione non ti manca nulla, caffè con latte, sempre che non preferisci un succo di frutta, biscotti, buonissimi gli “squisiti”, o se preferisci miele locale su fette biscottate spalmate di burro. Ti senti proprio a casa, non manca nulla, ma proprio nulla, prezioso è stato il set di cucito per attaccare il bottoncino della mia camicia. Una chicca assoluta è il quotidiano che puoi ritirare, ovviamente gratis, in una edicola vicina alla casa, cortesi e gentili i proprietari. La casa, arredata con sobria eleganza, è pulitissima. La zona è tranquillissima e fornita di tutti i servizi, e poi sei nel cuore della movida. Rosalba e Guglielmo, i proprietari, interpretano bene la accoglienza Siciliana, cordiali, disponibili, senti la loro presenza, anche se discreta, ti senti coccolato. Al di sopra di ogni aspettativa, la realtà supera la pubblicità, eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo. Sicuramente da ripetere.

We wanted to see the places of Montalbano, and we were lucky to have chosen Scicli as our home base. The Dammuso is as beautiful as pictured. Very very clean, comfortable and full of nice surprises. BESSER ALS IN 4 STERNE HOTEL!

Lage des Hauses: einfach Hevorragend,in wenniger als 2 Minute mitten in Zentrum wo einfach alles gibt.Scicli ist einer der schönste Orte in Sizilien. Zustand der Wohnung bei ankommen war Perfekt,eine riesen Überaschung für uns (Familie mit 2 Kinder) der Kühlschrank war halb voll,Milch,Säfte,Obst,Käse,Salami,Oliven,und ,und,und ,war alles da,die Küche ist voll ausgestatet mit Olivenöl,Zucker,Gewürze und alles was man braucht,wir haben damit nicht gerrechnet. Über Sauberkeit brauche ich nicht zu sagen,TOP!!! Die Wohnung an sich sehr gut aufgeteilt,die Klimaanlage funktioniert tadellos,genau so wie die W-Lan verbindung im Haus.Zwei mal pro Woche wurde die Wohnung gereinigt,inklusive Handuch und Bettwäsche wechsel !!!! Die Übergabe von Signor Gugliemo verlief perfekt,alles bestens! Es gibt einfach absolut nichts negatives über die Wohnung oder der Ablauf zu berichten,für uns steht fest ,wenn noch mal Scicli AUF JEDEN FALL diese Wohnung,man hat sich dort von erste Minute wohl gefühlt.
