Great Location and Great Apartment

This is our second stay at 316 and as with my first review this is just about one of the best apartments in DuQuesa. Since our last stay all of the tiny niggles have been sorted so 10/10 for the agents DuQuesa Estates and the owner. Which brings be onto the agents - what a team. They were brilliant, Very responsive and a great team to be served by. Paul, Luna and Karen - thank you for fixing the problem I caused by arriving a day too early. Let me think about that.... no you're all a 10/10

The apartment was great, had everything we needed and the location to the Port was great

The balcony, you get the most incredible sun rises during the latter part of the season. It was truly amazing! Flexibility at check out time if possible during evening flights. Maybe offer an additional couple of hours if the property is occupied the following day and an additional night is not an option.

Amazing 2 weeks

Our stay at the Duqesa Estates in Manilva was simply amazing! Perfect spot, walkable Marina with several restaurants to choose from, great views and great staff. We could not have asked for a better experience!

Amazing views from a lovely, functional property

This apartment is spacious and well furnished with the most fantastic sea views. A little chilly on a December evening but the air conditioning on heat works well and soon warms up the large rooms. Great added bonus of Wi-fi which we were not expecting, all in all, a great stay.

Fantastic front line apartment. Large rooms and huge balcony, shaded from mid afternoon. Very well equipped. 5 minute walk to the port and the many restaurants and bars. Great pool, always beds available.

Our second visit to this apartment. Amazing location and breathtaking views each and every day. La Duquesa Estates were as usual excellent and very helpful. While the amazing location speaks for itself the apartment has grown very tired and needs an upgrade in several areas. The furnishings throughout (bedding , cushions, mismatched furniture etc ) were of very poor quality and some repairs and repainting is needed also in several areas. If this was addressed it would truly be a 5 star experience.

I love this building especially room316 It’s spacious and the view is amazing! The location is perfect close by to the marina, bars and restaurants. I will be returning again 100% The king size mattress is uneven and a bit uncomfortable as it dips down on one side.

We liked the space, the very comfortable beds and location. There is a large pool and very clean apartment complex. We didn't understand why the cladding on the roof was missing allowing large insects to investigate the holes in the roof while we were sitting on the large balcony.

After staying in a range of apartments over the past 8 years we found this property on the Duquesa `estates website. Great service from everyone from beginning to end - faultless. Helpful, cheerful and fun. We had a couple of minor issues (including leaving the keys in the apartment and locking ourselves out at 8pm) but their help was truly excellent. O yes, the apartment? As described by other guests - nothing to add. Thank you Luna and Daisy

Perfect family spot with stunning sea views

The apartment is in an excellent location, overlooking the beach and just a short walk from the marina. The lovely promenade right in front of the building stretches for miles, reaching westward and all the way east to Estepona.Inside, the apartment is spacious and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The washing machine, located outdoors, was slightly temperamental—possibly due to some damp affecting the electronics. This was during our stay in April, so it may not be an issue later in the season. We've mentioned this to the Duquesa Estates team, who were fantastic and very responsive.Overall, this apartment offers the perfect base for a family holiday, ideally situated away from the busier areas but still close enough to plenty of bars and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Prime frontline position undermined by apartment furnishings

High quality building Frontline location Walking distance to bars and restaurants WIFI available UK TV (BBC1,BBC2,ITV & C4)is available in this community but TV did not have a digital tuner to allow this to be accessed.

UK TV is not legally available in Spain, however this community has piped in some UK channels through the normal TV aerial, these do not need a tunerbox to access these channels they are simply viewed as they would be in the UK by using channels 1,2,3 and 4 on the TV.

Fantastic spacious front line apartment

Location, outlook , decor, . Apartment was large, clean, well furnished with wifi. Massive front line terrace with unrivalled sea views Nothing from a service point. We have used you for several years and been 100% happy EVERY TIME. Regards the apartment, it is the nicest we have stayed in, BUT we generally visit end of October and we found the pool area too shady at this time of year and will probably go back to Marina Real next year (we like the grass pool areas too )!!! Had a great time and this is our Only minor issue with Marina Castillo

Great location and view

This is an amazing condo. 5 minute walk to the marina, stores, restaurants. We loved everything about it. Went for huge walks in both directions. Condo is very well equipped. Only 2 comments, maybe should have more kitchen plates and bowls. We did a lot of cooking and found we had to wash dishes instead of using the dishwasher (which works very well). Also, had a very hard time trying to find the parking spot in the underground garage. After 2 days we just parked outside. Hope we can come back again. Luba and Vickie were very helpful.

Location met our objectives and we enjoyed our stay overall. However there were issues of great concern -Apartment - Needs a deep clean throughout including the balcony. We had to wipe down all the balcony furniture before using. Shower room was unhygienic with black mould in the shower tray and there was a permanent smell from the bathroom. Shower Room and kitchen drain needs urgent attention. We had to constantly pour boiling water down the drains to get these to flow.Air-conditioning was broken and the vents were disgustingly dirty and from the look of these had never been cleaned. The washing machine rubber was black and required scrubbing with bleach. Furnishings old. Needs updating. Insufficient bedding. The bedside lamp in the second bedroom is faulty and flickers. The kitchen extractor was broken and had to be replaced. The cover was not re-installed at the time of our departure. The pipe work on the extractor still needs to be re-sealed.The couch in lounge was full of sand and the vacuum cleaner had nor been emptied and the hose was blocked (no suction).The extra furniture on the balcony was either broken or in a poor state of repair.A few of the dinning room chairs (legs) were unstable. Kitchen cupboard door off the hinge. Fridge had broken bits with a loose shelf which the agent had to remove as it could not be fixed.Some of the issues were resolved but we should never have been placed in this position in the first place.
