Moulin A is a former coaching inn and stagecoach ideally located at the foot of the Col de l'Escrinet between Privas and Aubenas. Reopened in 2016 after a complete and bold renovation, it now offers several services such as bar, table d'hôte and bed and breakfast.
The Moulin A offers you an ideal and strategic geographical location to enjoy the many facets that the Ardèche can offer. The southern Ardèche with its gorges and Vallon Pont d'Arc is half an hour; the Ardéchois plateau, its mountains and lakes, begins after the Col de l'Escrinet; and the Ardèche du Nord, including the magnificent Eyrieux Valley, is just after Privas.
As before, it is now possible to stay at the Moulin. As we have often written,

We are recently settled in Ardeche after meeting in Iraq. Antoine used to work in the hotel management sector with the Starwood - Sheraton group in Central and South Asia, where he was responsible for the group for several countries. Victoria is a university professor specializing in the geopolitical issues of war zones and particularly the Middle East.
Moulin A is a love at first sight place for a second part of life, and a new career project. It is currently a place for the customers of Aubenas or Privas who want to be in a serene place, with friends, around a good bottle.
The cafe is open and we have started the development of some rooms in a very eclectic spirit, with objects and furniture that we brought back from the four corners of the world.
Our medium-term project is to welcome staff from NGOs, journalists and academics, looking for a quiet space between two missions, to decompress and recharge before other trips around the world.
